Had to do the tourist thing, brought home quarter pound of dark chocolate fudge with sea salt. Almost as expensive as gold, oh well. It was good.?

After watching a show about how candy is made we learned aboutMarini's "Chocolate Covered Bacon". We headed to Santa Cruz to check it out, it was worth the trip. The shop offers a lot of different candy for the young and old. We bought a few pieces of "Mango and Chili ?️ " gummies, ate them and bought a pound. We highly recommend them.We also bought a variety of chocolate covered treats at roughly $8 per pound who could possibly resist. Salt water taffy galore at Marini's were the Tutti flavor was the most memorable for us. The store also features a variety of pre packed candy including some international favorites like Kinder Bueno. The staff at Marini's are very patient, helpful and enjoy what they do.There are several locations you can get these delicious treats. Like an express right inside Neptunes. On the boardwalk and Santa Cruz Wharf. We enjoyed Marini's, the Wharf and the Sea Lions.Parking was plentiful for us. Main parking lot located next to Neptunes was $15. There was also plenty of metered street parking available. A United States quarter will provide about 10 minutes of parking. There was no evidence of broken glass and some police was present. We felt our car was safe.Making the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Marini's part of your families routine activities is a good idea.

The bottom scoop is a Pacific Double Header flavor, featuring Pacific Cookie Company's chocolate chip cookie dough with a Dr Midnight base with peppermint and chocolate flavor. The flavor on top was the Great Morgani with coffee ice cream, chocolate-covered coffee beans, and toffee chunks. Delicious, all around.

It as nice to sit at the soda fountain counter and people watch! Lots of great options for gifts to bring home too. Thanks until next time! ?? ✌?Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible!

My favorite candy store in the world (I say being a candy connoisseur) famous for their little yellow bags! The staff is so super incredible, really kind, helpful, and understanding, totally give off beach town vibes like you’re in a movie! You have to visit this iconic candy store on the wharf!

I'm so disappointed with the quality of your salt water taffy. it used to be so great. the texture is different and the pieces have shrunk so small. the paper wrappers are 3 times too big so when you buy a box it's half wrappers. I will not purchase it anymore. I used to buy it for gifts whenever I visit but I'm embarrassed to give it away.I grew up in San Jose so I've watched it change To what it is now. sad.

Bought a caramel apple and they wrapped it with wax paper and the wax paper ripped off onto it and is completely inedible. What little I was able to eat tasted like wax paper. Threw it away. Disappointed.

Nice place. Coffee was good but to small for the price. Doesnt hurt to make it a bigger size to satisfy. I don't know what it is with companies that charge so much and offer some little. When it comes to just a fluid it only cost a penny more for a taller cup and doesn't cost any extra to fill it. Sell bigger cups with coffee at the same price and you might keep more customers. I'm speaking as a poor person that can barely afford to spend the price for a 12-oz drink but I might have been satisfied with a 20 ounce. And that creates good customers. The service was great and the workers were great. And the coffee was great. Just need a bigger cup when paying that price
