La Madrona is the premier resort destination swimming and tennis club in Santa Cruz county. My wife and I have been members for about seven years. There are two pools, one for families and the other for lap swimming. The club has a scheduling system so you can always get a tennis court or swim lane at your preferred time. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are numerous classes and programs for adults and kids to enhance your membership, yoga, pilates, cardio, pickle ball, tennis, swim lessons, pool guards. The club is well maintained, has beautiful gardens and is always adding new improvements. We just love our time at the club. If your looking to get fit, enhance your wellness or just unwind after work, this is the place for you.

Clean pools and good exercise equipment. But this summer my sister was signed up for pool guards and her foot was stung by a bee the weekend before. She decided to go but the instructors made her do exercises even after she showed them her swollen foot. I would not recommend signing up for their camps.

I had an awesome LAMA experience yesterday, started off with 2 sets of singles, followed by 1/2 hour swim and 20 min soak in the hot tub with my favorite IPA under a beautiful clear blue bird sky...Doesn't get much better then that... Well, maybe if I won the tennis match:)

Excellent programs for swim and tennis. Family oriented. Gorgeous natural setting. While it is a club for members, non members can sign up for swim and tennis programs for a nominal added fee. Great experiences here!
