I have been working as a home stager and presale design consultant with Kasey and Brook for a few years on most of their listings. They are both personable and knowledgeable about all things real estate. They always want to help clients put their best foot forward when presenting their homes for sale. They have access to the best professionals (contractors, landscapers, photographers, stagers, painters, house cleaners, organizers, etc.) to pull off what it takes to sell quickly for top dollar. They work very hard to carry some of the stresses that go with selling a home. I know they are doing a great job from their top producing results, their love of their work and also because I see happy clients, as well as repeat clients and many referrals. I would not hesitate to hire Kasey and Brook for your real estate needs.

Thanks to Kasey and Brooke - I am in my dream home. From the moment I saw a picture of my current house I knew that it was for me. I immediately contacted Kasey and he went out of his way to get me a private viewing ASAP - the market was HOT. Kasey and Brooke promised me that they would do everything in their power to get me my house, and they DID. Buying my first home by myself was certainly intimidating but Kasey kept things calm and approachable, guiding me through all the scary processes and distilling information into bite sized understandable steps and goals. He was honest and forthcoming with all of the little extras bits and helped me to navigate the endless and voluminous paperwork efficiently. He was very available for me to talk to, even if it was to panic for a minute. Not only did he get me the exact home I wanted but it was a smooth and truly enjoyable experience. Kasey is professional, communicative and highly responsive (a skill and commitment that fewer and fewer possess these days). I would highly recommend Kasey and Brooke to anyone who is choosing to embark on a new home adventure.

Brooke and Kasey are awesome! They helped us with our first home purchase. They were quick to respond, explained the process in detail ahead of time, had clear communication with us throughout the process, and overall exceeded our expectations. When we decided to move forward with an offer, they were quick to gather the required documentation, and promptly submitted it to the seller. Their responsiveness was key to our offer getting accepted by the buyer despite similar other offers. They then helped with the inspection process and recommended professionals for various repairs and renovations. They are also great people, fun to hang out with! We would definitely recommend Brooke and Kasey!

I was lucky enough to work with Kasey & Brooke Hinchman to purchase my first home this year. Not only did they navigate my first timer questions and concerns with ease, they actually listened to what I was looking for in a home and helped me buy exactly that. Kasey talked me through the entire process and even helped counsel patience when I was frustrated about failing to get a couple houses on which I put offers -- a common occurrence in this market. Little did I know, those houses falling through was the best thing that could have happened, since we later found what I very genuinely mean is a dream home. Trusting in Kasey & Brooke's expertise helped make what was a fairly intimidating process easy to navigate, and they even helped prompt me with the right questions so I could keep others, like my bank, on track. This allowed us to meet a very aggressive closing timeline at the end of the year. Not only did I get a better house than I could have ever hoped to, I feel like I've built a lifelong relationship with some of the most skilled real estate professionals in the area, who also happen to be incredibly kind people. Kasey and Brook are the best bomb diggity awesome realtors you will find anywhere. They stuck with us for more than a year as we pecked and hunted at the limited Santa Cruz real estate options that even came close to meeting our criteria. Then, when magic struck and we found our dream house, they worked quickly and efficiently to make sure it was ours! (this includes that whole "what do we do once we place a bid" part of the process, which we could never have done or figured out on our own). Long story short, if you need realtors, go with Kasey and Brook.

I recently purchased a home in Santa Cruz County and the agent I was referred to was Kasey Hinchman who works at David Lyng Real Estate. The referral came from a good friend of mine who had recently completed a sale with Kasey and was very impressed with his work ethic and professionalism. From the beginning to the end of the transaction, Kasey has been there to guide me through the sometimes frustrating process of buying a home. I made a few late night/early morning calls, worrying about this or that but he never complained or made me feel like I was bothering him. His knowledge of the local real estate market and lending procedures really helped calm my nerves. His wife, Brooke is also an agent and together they make an awesome team. Brooke, has lived in Santa Cruz County her entire life so she has an extensive knowledge of the area. Their Broker, David Lyng Real Estate, was very helpful co-ordinating and getting things done as soon as possible. The David Lyng Real Estate / Kasey & Brooke Hinchman duo means you are working with the best real estate combo there is. If you are looking for a real estate agent in the Santa Cruz/Monterey Counties who is a go-getter and has the knowledge they need (with a proven track record) to complete your transaction as smoothly as humanly possible. Then I would highly recommend Kasey & Brooke Hinchman for all of your Monterey Bay Area real estate transactions. Update 2: 10/17/2014 I have completed a couple more transactions with this couple. I can honestly say that they are the most dedicated and hardworking people I've worked with in a long time. In 2013 Kasey won the coveted "Agent of the Year" award for being the Top Agent at David Lyng that year. All I can say is, Wow!

I am giving a five star rating to Kasey. Why? Because Kasey isn't a "typical" Realtor. The guy is helpful, honest, and hard working. And when you are looking to make one of the largest financial decisions of your life, you need someone who has those qualities. He was my agent for a short sale, and did a great job with it. He is the most responsive real estate agent I have worked with, he is very professional, knowledgeable, hard working and will do his best to get the job done and done right. I always felt he was looking out for my best interest and kept me well informed throughout the entire selling process. He helped me navigate around a couple of minefields that I would've run into if he didn't provide his expertise. I now feel more educated about various topics and can confidently use some resources he's directed me towards. He will tell you like it is, and give you advice based on what is best for you. I highly reccomend Kasey to anyone who is looking for a real estate agent and would gladly work with him again on future real estate transactions.
