A family member suggested we contact Julie to help us purchase a home in Santa Cruz.We started looking in the Spring, and she even showed us a house on Easter morning.With the buyer’s market being very tight, we had to look for several months. We even made an offer on one house but did not get it.Julie encouraged us to keep on looking that something would come up.She even walked the neighborhood we were most interested in to search for homes for sale.Then a great house came on the market in that neighborhood. We were nervous about making an offer but with Julies’ encouragement we did, and we got the house!We are so thrilled, it is a great house, and one that Julie actually lived in once. The whole transaction went very smoothly. Julie walked us through every step of the escrow.

Julie was a vital, patient, attentive, and caring realtor who helped us purchase our first home! When we first expressed interest in a place, we contacted Julie and four days later over a weekend we had an offer accepted! Julie went out of her way to make sure our questions were answered (even tracking down contacts at the HOA to answer specific questions about paint colors used), and made us feel cared for and well taken care of! On the day we got our keys, it was clear she was incredibly excited for us, and we were so grateful to have her guide us through the journey of buying our home.

My fiance and I had been contemplating a move from San Francisco to the Santa Cruz area, and after years of renting in the City we were excited to buy our first home and have more space for ourselves and our dogs. We randomly met Julie at an open house we attended (she was the listing agent). We didn't end up having much interest in the home she was selling, but she provided us with lots of detailed information about other open houses in the area based on what we told her we were looking for. We appreciated her honesty and willingness to go above and beyond to help us from our initial brief meeting with her. Several days later, we saw a listing for an adorable home in Bonny Doon, and decided to contact Julie due to the awesome first impression she made. From the first time we saw the home, we knew it was "the one." Julie immediately took action to make it ours. She walked us through each step of the home buying process, educating us thoroughly along the way. As first time home buyers, this was so appreciated! Julie is incredibly responsive and ensured that everything moved quickly and stayed on track. Another thing that really impressed us about Julie is her broad network of contractors. Prior to waiving contingencies, she was able to call out several contractors (roofer, general contractor, home inspector, electrician) to check out the house and give us estimates on repairs. Julie literally was able to get these individuals to come out within a matter of days. In the end, we are so thankful that we chose Julie to help us buy our dream home. She is so good at what she does and was able to make the complicated process of buying a home as easy as possible. Highly recommend working with Julie, she is a gem!

Julie was very proactive as a buyers agent sending us listings that met our predetermined specifications. She did not send us details of irrelevant properties. Julie arranged multiple appointments with a family member, often more than one on the same day, and she would either drive us to the property or meet us there at a pre determined time. She was always very punctual. In addition , Julie offered good insights and she went out of her way to ensure that we were buying a house that met our needs rather than trying to sell us the most expensive house. This was very refreshing. She has also offered to help us even after buying the property should something come up. We will definitely use Julie again if we are either selling or buying a house in the Santa Cruz area
