I recently spent $6500 on a monitor, radar and transducer. They were incredibly helpful in selecting which items. I installed myself and any time I needed help they dropped what they were doing to help. You really don't see quality customer service like Johnson and Hicks anyone. I will definitely be going back and I do recommend them.

Really disappointed with the service I received from this company! Over the years I would stop at their electronics booth at the Fred Hall fishing show and got good advice and felt confident enough to buy garmin monitor,radar and transducer totaling about $3500.00. I recently wanted to upgrade my transducer to 1 kw flush mount and found airmar to be the product to use. I mistakenly thought J.H. was only a Garmin dealer and I could not purchase this piece from them. I purchased the aimar transducer and it did not come with a special cable so I called J.H. to ask them where to buy such product on the west coast. The salesman said that he had one in stock but it was in a kit and since I did not purchase the transducer from him he would not sell me the cable . He explained that he could not compete with the prices that they were selling on line and it would be expensive. Remember I never asked price I just wanted to purchase the cable and get it here quickly. Unfortunately for them I will not be spending my money there ever again and through all their catalogs in the trash. Customer service is number one , within reason and I didnt feel giving that type of lecture was appropriate.

Purchased my Simrad system just over two years ago...had some issues with my sonar not showing depth...I called Joe while on the water and he walked me through the settings...still problems so I sent it back to Joe so he could do some diagnostics...within a few days I was told they got together with the Simrad rep and will be getting me a new unit free....This is why I went to Johnson Hicks...reputation is everything, great customer service...Do not hesitate to purchase and have installation done here! I will update after receiving my new unit!

Joe is a guy that would take the shirt off his back to make sure you get treated right... he stands behind his work and word! His installer is 2nd to none/ he really knows his stuff! I drove 4 hrs each way to use them. Just to add on from my experience, I had an issue with the electronics and joe made the 4 hour trip to my house each way and solved every issue I was having! Can't say enough about the customer service that (joe and Vince) do!
