Walked in, made eye contact but was not greeted. My sister with special needs made a comment about something on the front desk and the women ignored her. Was hoping to support this place but the experience was unpleasant.

Volunteering here is easy, fun, and grounding. Simply show up during hours, sign a waiver, and you're good to go. Its so peaceful and beautiful here. It's honestly a great idea for a date to volunteer here together. I love going on the weekends just to weed for a couple hours with my partner and friends.

I & a fellow colleague from Room Real Estate ? are volunteering today at the homeless Garden Project!!The homeless garden ? project is a great non-profit organization that provides transitional employment and support services to people in Santa Cruz ? experiencing homelessness. Not only do they have organic produce They also have a variety of handmade gifts !! ?The community can be involved and help in so many ways!Together we can make this planet a better place by helping improve so many lives! ?

Beyond their mission, this store is a little gem! It has a variety of locally made and sourced goods from lip balm, herbs, candles and more! The best part is the quality of the products use high end ingredients and truly show the love and care when the team makes them. Take a gander and be sure to ask about their mission as well!

We found this little gem while walking around Santa Cruz! The Homeless Garden Project provides job training and transitional employment to individuals experiencing homelessness. The store offers items from lotion, balms, dried lavender, tea, baking kits, clothing and more. You're sure to find something here that's perfect for yourself or for gifting! We decided to purchase a blanket (which provides a blanket to someone in need), a tin of lavender mint tea, and a salve. While Santa Cruz is a drive away, I'll be sure. To keep this place in mind next time I have to shop for a gift! Luckily, they have an online store as well:
