There is nothing discount about this place. Worse than a garage sale with crap and products all over the floor. Staff do not know inventory. One guy quoted us $500 for a product "all-in." When we went back to buy it the lady told us almost $900. She knew nothing about the products or warranties. I try so hard to shop locally, but service and selection is continually sub-par. We have owned our home in SC for over 33 years now. This is just one example of many grungy Santa Cruz experiences. So sad.

I love this store! Excellent quality items! I always stop here first when shopping for kitchen gadgets.

Dealt with an old man who was unknowledgeable about his inventory, surly and defensive. I searched Amazon for a large ice cream scoop first and was discouraged from purchasing one because of comments about them breaking quickly. I have had good experiences with restaurant supply stores in the past so decided to try this store hoping they would offer superior quality products. When I asked for an opinion on the quality between two different scoops, he acted like it was unreasonable for him to know about his own products. I then asked what their return policy was in case it broke once I used it. He said he would replace it which would be unhelpful if the problem is the product itself. I said I needed to think about it and then he barked at me to return the items back where I found them. If your business model is to intimidate your customers and be rude and unhelpful, then this guy has a sound plan. I will never go back there again.

Everything I need for my small catering/baking business. So nice to not have to drive far to get what i need. Very nice people.
