Best bicycle shop/bicycles hands down. My parents were visiting from out of state and my father has always admired Santa Cruz Bicycles. We all went to go look at the bikes, per his request as he has not been near the Bay Area for over thirty years, but also checked if they would do a tour of the facility. They were so kind and asked us to come back in a couple hours. We returned and had an amazing tour with such a phenomenal team. They fielded so many of our questions, were so present and kind, and truly had such a passion for what they do. We had an amazing time. I am honestly so thankful for the team and for giving my father and family an amazing day! Will definitely be back.

I've had battery and fwd problems. Nothing is working, and the warranty dept doesn't respond to emails. What the heck? And the dealer I bought it from says they're out of business now?

I ordered a Faraday bike for my wife's anniversary but to my disappointment they sent the wrong model and color to the bike shop. I didn't accept the bike. It is has been almost a month now and they still haven't given me credit for the wrong order. I ended up ordering another one just to get the correct one for my wife. The thing that really bothers me is they tell me they will give me credit for the wrong order or the credit is being processed that day and it doesn't happen. Please be careful when dealing with them - if you order from another location your shipment goes to a bike dealer for assembly - they will evidently assemble it before you look at it - so you don't have a chance to verify it is what you ordered.

Actual dopest bikes. Looks better than anything else out there. Next-level support. Regular firmware updates. Active and enthusiastic community. Pleasure to ride.

Solid product, once it is working correctly. Which may take a couple weeks or a couple months to achieve. They seem to be unorganized as a business but their product is good.

This bike has allowed or family to go to only one car. I have been commuting by Faraday for over a year and it's great. Super low maintenance with the belt drive and internal gearing. I swapped the handlebars to something more comfortable for me, but otherwise the bike has done everything I need and more. It allows me to get to cut my commute time from 20 minutes to 13, which matters because as a operating room nurse I need to be able to be at work ready to go in 20 minutes. I also have a pretty steep hill on my ride home and after a 12 hour shift I am usually to tired or lazy to working my way up it.I appreciate that it requires me to pedal, and I appreciate that it has a low and high assist. Other than that, I don't need a bunch of other bells and whistles. Its really a bike, with an electric assist available. As someone who rode my bike to work for years before ever going electric, I wanted a good bicycle, with the electric assist available as needed. That is the beauty of the Faraday Porteur. Its a great bike, with a great electric assist as needed.

This is the best bike I have ever had! Especially in San Francisco, it makes getting around the city doable. The company is great and committed to getting people to love riding their bikes and the customer service is excellent. It is totally worth the price (it evens out to about 3 years of taking BART and riding a Faraday is so much better).

Had my Faraday Courtland since March 2017. I have put about 2,500 km on it commuting to and from work (34 km round trip).I love this bike. While I have always enjoyed commuting by bike, it has raised my pleasure to a whole new level. Winds no longer trouble me, and my commute time has shrunk. I am often complimented by other cyclists on what a beautiful bike the Courtland is. My commute to and from work is often the best part of my day, a comment I cannot make when driving or taking public transit. It handles like a bicycle, and I appreciate being required to peddle, but choosing my level of assist.I strongly recommend a Faraday to anyone considering an e-bike. It is the best purchase that I have ever made.Karen, the happy cyclist :)

I've been riding electric bikes for 20 years so I knew what I was looking for when I bit the bullet and ordered my Cortland. Namely, an e-bike that looks and rides like a bike, that's light enough to put on a bike rack, that's geometry really fits me, that will get me up the hills in my town, and that's beautiful (because I have a thing for beautiful bicycles..). The Cortland has had me check all the boxes.I'm 65 years old and retired and I find riding my Faraday to be so much fun that, if I get home from riding around town running errands and discovered I've forgotten something, my first thought is, "oh good! I get to ride my bike again!" If a friend wants to meet for coffee or lunch I think, "Oh good! I get to ride my bike!" If my husband calls to say he needs some help in his workshop I say, "Oh good! I get to ride my bike again!"One thing, the first bike I received from Faraday was a lemon. After many frustrating days, the tech team at Faraday asked me to send it back. They sent me a new bike and it's been trouble-free and a joy to ride!I'm now deep into a New England winter but already antsy for Spring and my first spring ride. Can't wait.

We bought a used Faraday... and boy were we lucky! This bike is comfortable for both my husband and me to ride. It makes commuting by bike even more enjoyable and hassle free. I like the upright position because I can see better and am more comfortable. The bike is the lightest eBike I've seen. It looks like a bike and feels like a bike. BUT I get a boost in regaining momentum at stop signs... so I am not tempted to run them and gamble with safety. Also, when I have to ride with traffic, electric assist helps me accelerate more quickly up to traffic sped, again making me safer. I also like that I am less sweaty when I arrive at work, or some other place where I am supposed to look professional. Also, I always have a light on, another safety issue. I definitely drive a lot less, even though I tried to drive little before. Can't say enough good things.OK... the ONLY down side I can think of is that the battery only goes up to 20 miles, and I would like a longer range. Am looking forward to the accessory battery coming out soon... they say.

The best electric bicycle on the market so far! One of the few, if not only, e-bikes with an 8-speed internal hub and a powerful front-wheel electric motor; great weight balance!A lot of companies use a back-wheel motor along with a derailleur which is clunky, noisy and a pain to care for...And this trend with companies using the Bosch mid-drive system is not good; it is big, noisy and loud!!!!Thank you Faraday for making my ideal e-bike!!!!

First, the Faraday is a gorgeous bike. No other bike attracts the attention of a Faraday. Only my Brompton comes close.Second, it rides beautifully with or without electric assist. I would suggest immediately replacing the cheap Chinese no-name tires with some supple Panaracer Paselas. The ride will instantly improve.Third, you just want to ride your bike more because the electric assist makes it easy to get up hills. I ride it up the steepest hill imaginable in Santa Cruz, CA, and while you aren't rocketing up, it gets you there without a car.Bottom line: you will LOVE this bike, so if you've been on the fence, jump off the fence and go buy this bike.

I absolutely love this bike. I was never an avid cyclist, so knew nothing about e-bikes. This bike is not intimidating and is really fun to ride. I now commute to work on a daily basis and can also take rides with my family without falling behind.
