David helped us tremendously with a condo purchase in 2020 in Santa Cruz. He showed us tons of properties, many newly on the market, and knew exactly when to give us a bit of a nudge and perspective. He also knows Santa Cruz so well, it is a joyful process to learn from him about the community. We later sold the property for work relocation reasons, with a big upside. I have known David for more than 21 years and he is a gem of a person. We met first when I was looking for buying my first home. David was very patient with me & honest in answering all questions about real estate and that made me stick with him to get our first home. When we worked with David often times I would read about real estate forecast, market and financing etc. and ask some challenging questions and he would always provide a honest answer and never applied any pressure to buy or close a deal. There are few times he has told me that I knew more :-) which is really not true. I highly recommend David for anyone looking for buying real estate.

David Morrell was our realtor when my husband and I recently sold our home in Aptos, CA. Google allows a maximum of five stars for recommendations - if we could give David SIX stars, we would!From the beginning of our transaction to the end, David did an excellent job. He was fully knowledgeable about the real estate market; he was a great communicator - with us, with potential buyers, and with other agents; he was responsive to a fault; he was patient; and he knew all the right people to prepare our home for sale - inspectors, photographers, etc.One thing we especially appreciated about David was his knowledge of the real estate market. After careful analysis, David recommended a listing price for our house. My husband and I insisted on listing the house somewhat higher than David suggested. After a month on the market with no offers, we lowered the price to David's original price. Within one day, we had a full price, all cash offer. David knew the market value of our home, yet he respected us enough to let us try our price. In the end, David's knowledge of the market was spot on.The single most outstanding quality that David brings to the real estate process is the fact that he really and truly cares about his clients. Their satisfaction is paramount to him, and he works very hard to ensure their happiness. I have know David since the beginning of 2019. I watched him as an excellent agent in all regards. I felt most importantly he truly cared about his clients success.He handled family relationships on an estate sale with empathy and consideration. He prepared the deffered maintenance and dated home they inherited to get the most money possible. I was, frankly, amazed at his skills with buyers’ agents and with the Sellers’ emotions about their parents’ home. Since then he has overcome adversity by thoroughly beating an aggressive cancer 18 months ago. He is incredibly fully recovered and is working as hard for his clients as I can imagine anyone can.All in all, David is impressive.

David Morrell is a wonderfully supportive and knowledgeable realtor! He served as our guide when we sold our Ben Lomond home to our tenant. Via agreement with the buyer, we were not formally having realtors handle the sale, but David walked us through every step of the way, making sure we made thoughtful, well-considered decisions and thought through every angle. He was particularly helpful to us as we worked through the comps that our buyer presented (to show us why our house should go for less money), helping us see the true value of our home, and was enormously supportive in the back and forth of offers and counter-offers, giving wise advice while encouraging us to make a decision that we would feel good about at the end of the transaction. We have bought and sold three houses over 20 years with David's help and highly recommend him.
