Went for a tetanus shot to this cvs location because it was nearby where we were staying. The Asian girl at the counter did not stop making faces and was annoyed by any and all questions. Like most CVS stores, employees seem unhappy at their work place and it translates to terrible customer service. If you have time like are better going somewhere else like to Costco pharmacy where they actually provide a good customer service.

There is a cashier at this location named Ebony, who happens to be the friendliest, sweetest and most attentive employee possibly in all of Santa Cruz. Time after time she has greeted me with warmth and enthusiasm and her attitude is contagious. I wish every business had someone like her.

Never get pharmaceuticals on time. Been in pain for over a week after surgery and they keep lying about it being 'ready in a few hours'. Avoid this pharmacy if you have time sensitive prescriptions!

LITTERALLY came in having an allergic reactions and these bitches told me to "wait in the checkout line" the other customers had to express that I was actually unwell and needed allergy medication. even after my friends had gone in before me and started pressing the assistance button several times. even then they were being condescending in telling me "you couldve gotten another brand" :/. My friend was trying to grab me the medication he knows works for me. Never have I ever had such bad customer service. An attitude the moment I came in trying to ask for help.

This is a VERY schizophrenic store. The branch mgr is so shifty. I personally saw him approve a stack of fraud letters, an employee college grad had devised. To decoy customers to use a code for care pass, but it siphoned 5 and 10 dollar amounts up to 5 times per month, randomly, from your bank account, to ?? They won't admit it. The corporation loss agent wasn't bright enough to suss how, and the employee took off, the manager just pretending he has no clue.. the employees are always females who don't like their jobs. This store is like a disease. Toxic negativity, rolling eyes, lackluster laziness, and disrespect of customers is the norm. The worst aspect is I guess, the smell. They refuse to clean. The carpet is rotten, literally a California code health violation, as of 30 years ago, I think this rug is 28 years old.I'm not exaggerating. I actually think it's the first rug from when this store opened. The entire circumference outside, is covered in human feces, dog feces, vomit, spit, piss and rotting trash. Nobody ever cleans it, and loitering is normal, homeless and drug addicts sit against the walls, and each night use it for a latrine. The roof prevents rain from cleaning it, so you have this disgusting diseased ring around the shop and employees refuse to even slightly clean inside, for sure refuse to clean outside. Probably the grossest shop in the entire county. Fraud, toxic hateful bad attitudes, racism Latinas hate non Latinas and diseased filth... broken photo machines, clueless western union processes, and constant theft...this is the cvs experience of front street santa cruz. Oh, and not to forget. , all coolers are not keeping the correct cold temperatures, so all cold foods or beverages are actively rotting, you WILL GET FOOD POISON from buying any frozen or fridge food..no question..in 7 years this has remained true. Add on 4 dollars overpriced, and that plus a lazy refusal to restock until closed...the store is the most customer hating place in the county. Truth

My former Pharmacy was a mom and pop store which made too many mistakes and was to difficult to call in refills. as a long term customer of CVS transferred all meds back to CVS. Everyone is cheerfully and helpful.

CVS Santa Cruz does not have shopping carts, so it is impossible to complete shopping for household items in any amount. CVS Santa Cruz does supply little handheld baskets which severely limits the purchases.CVS Santa Cruz has many shelves that have almost no stock.CVS Santa Cruz has not facilities for disabled people. Disabled people must stand in line to check out with everyone else. I can barely get through the checkout counter with my mobility scooter.

I had gotten some prescriptions from the pharmacy and went to the front to ask for a bag. The cashier ignored me and as I stood there said "10 cents" and I took 10 cents out for the bag. Then the cashier pictured began a confrontation saying I couldn't cut people in line and had to wait in a line of 10 people for a bag, to which I responded, frankly that was not right, as there were no other checkers. Then I asked for her name as it was covered. She refused to give me her name and continued to be confrontational saying I was "cutting people." To which I simply asked again please for her name. This encouraged one of the customers in line, who seemed to be on drugs, to start screaming names at me, and start a confrontation with a stranger as well. Eventually the checker gave me their name, Aliyah, as her manager walked up to defuse the situation thankfully. This experience was completely egregious. The acting manager was able to say they will "speak to her about it." However, I will no longer feel safe at this store after this experience and unnecessary issues.

Continual pharmacy problems recently picked up prescription which is normally 180 tablets . After leaving found I only received 60 tablets at a cost of $522.00 instead of the normal $229.09 for 180 tablets . They stated it had to do with deductible but why only 60 tablets . You need to open their paper bag and see what you are receiving . Do not trust them to be correct !

Id like to take a second to thank Ebony for her wonderful customer service. I walked in having a bad day with an upset stomach and leaving happy because of her. I spent 30 minutes wandering down the aisles looking for charcoal tablets and couldn't find anything. I go to the pharmacy and ask the lady there and she replied, "I don't think we do." I continued to wander down the ailes aimlessly. Beaten I went to checkout with giftcards for my cousin, and there Ebony was waiting for me.E "Hows your day going!"M "Its alright."E "Just alright? Whats up."M "I came in looking for charcoal tablets and i couldn't find anything, and another lady said you didn't carry them."E "Oh, well Im pretty sure we do!"She radioed someone and led me to an aisle a few seconds later. E "Upset stomach kinda thing?"M "Yeah." E "Well now that youve found what youre looking for hows it going for you?"M "Pretty good actually!" She helped me find my charcoal tablets and checked me out the rest of the way. Ebony was extremely friendly and turned an irritating experience into a good interaction. Thank you!

I visited this CVS while I was in town to get some toiletries. I have to say, I was disappointed that it wasn’t up to the usual standards I see in a CVS brand store. There were numerous questionable characters in the store, the place seemed understaffed, and the police were responding to an incident there while we were in.Based on some of the other reviews, this place seems to be struggling with customer service and maybe safety.
