Really disappointed with this place. I brought in good brands and good clothes and they didn't take anything all because their store is over stocked. I'd also mention that the service is terrible. I dropped off my clothes and the girl was taking her time talking to a coworker for ten minutes before going through my clothes. Don't waste your time at this place. The clothes in store are terrible and it's just such a small store for a thrift store. You're so much better off going to the crossroads in San Jose. There's such a better selection and theyre so much more efficient.

The clothes are cute and fairly priced but the amount of regret I felt after selling my stuff is still sitting with me. I only got $70 for a brand new dooney and Burke bag (European leather with tags and authenticity, worn once timberland heels, brand new Betsy Johnson purse and wallet, worn once Nike sweater, new sweater dress, and a couple other items. $70 back for all of that!! Nobody’s fault but my own for letting these items go for so low but after waiting an hour and I needed the money I felt instant regret walking out of the store like I got bamboozled. If I new I would get such a low amount back I would’ve just posted everything for super cheap and sold individually on market place. This still brings me so much anxiety just thinking about what I mistake I made selling these items for so low.

Unlike other reviews my experience here was very pleasant. I believe the person who helped me was Joanne of Joanna and she was friendly and had a lovely demeanor.
I usually find good things at this location but since it’s a bit further from me I don’t go as often.
I wish there was free parking!

First time ever writing a review because I honestly just feel like this warrants it. I called earlier in the day to see what time they stop buying clothes, and was told that they "appreciate coming in before 6:30" if you are going to sell. I was surprised to hear this, as I have been turned away much earlier in the day before, and this is why I wanted to call and confirm exactly when they stop selling. Well I show up a little after 5 o' clock, and see a sign posted that their buy list is closed for the day. The employees in the back of the store told me that this location stops buying at 4 o' clock. I reassured them that it was in fact this location in Downtown Santa Cruz that I called just a few hours ago. They said that whoever told me that they would still be buying was misinformed. Kind of a bummer especially considering I rushed down here and ended up wasting a ton of quarters on the meter for no reason. I called ahead of time to avoid this happening and I really don't know what else I could have done. Kinda seems to me like once the manager/owner leaves for the day the employees just make their own decision to stop buying. But what do I know. This happened on November 8th 2023.

The sales associates seem to hate their jobs and can't wait to get out of there. They clean right behind you even when it isn't even close to closing and they have no security to keep the santa cruz homeless or mentally ill people out of the store.

Out of all the crossroads I've been too this has been the worst experience. This store was only open for an hour by the time I got there and it looked like it hadn't been organized in weeks. The customer service was very lacking in comparison to the other shops I've been too and the shop is in a bad location. I assume unless you arrive early before opening to find parking good luck trying to haul your stuff in the store to sell in a timely manner. Next door has a small parking that obviously has little to hardly any customers and will not allow crossroads sellers to park even if it's a short while. Personally that's bad business practice for both stores not just one. Crossroads doesn't have a policy where I can drop off selling clothes and come back at another time. So coming from SJ was not only a waste of my time but I imagine others would run into these problems too. For people coming to sell from other cities crossroads should have an online waiting list next too a local list cus I couldn't drop my stuff off and come back in 15min like their policy states. Certain stores depending on location and customers- should have different waiting policies to accommodate other customers and their time wisely.

Hauled my stuff here today to sell around noon only to find out they’re closed until 1 pm. Seriously so annoyed with this Crossroads. It literally says they’re open on Google only for them to have a makeshift sign that says they’re not going to be open for another hour. Get. It. Together.

Treated like scum. Shopped here since the 80's in SF and lived in Santa Cruz more than a decade, worker on Tuesday 7/18/23 at 3:40 pm was beyond rude. Judgmental, ageist!

Great people here! Always welcoming and warm even when it's super busy and hot. They price well for selling and buying. Also buy from a lot of sneakerheads.
