If it fits within your budget, please refrain from giving Mr. Bezos your hard-earned cash and come here instead. Bookshop SC has new books and used ones, Pullitzer prize winners and obscure manuals for every conceivable genre of hobby. Get a whiff of all that paper — and also the candles. There's incense and stationary and whatnot near the checkout counter.

Bookshop Santa Cruz is a gem in the heart of the city! This cute little store offers a wide variety of books and unique gifts that you won't find anywhere else. My son spent a good 30 minutes trying to decide on the perfect item to purchase with his money, which speaks volumes about their diverse and interesting selection. A must-visit for book lovers and gift seekers alike!
