I was very impressed with the book store and was able to find some older gems. They had both new books and older books, the latter which I was happy to learn about. It's a great place, I like how the books are organized and the book store attendant was really helpful. I highly recommend this catholic book store on trip to Santa Cruz!

This Christmas there are unique Nativity scenes in the windows at 138 Walnut Ave. The same building where Agnus Dei is located. The store has an extraordinary selection of books and gifts.

This was an awesome store and I had a great experience. The staff was super helpful and friendly and I was able to even pick up a skateboard from the shop which would make a great gift for a kid while supporting the local Catholic bookstore. I also found a really cute hip ring I bought as a gift but decided to keep for myself. The store is located in a great downtown location just 1 block off the main drag so parking is much easier than trying to deal with parking in the garage and walking several blocks. They actually had their own private parking lot. I would highly recommend this little shop

Amazing selection and wonderful people that work here. A great place to find wonderful book that will bring you closer to Jesus. This place has inspirational as well as theological works and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and comfortable while you browse.

4 stars because the name of the store doesn't match the majority of it being 90% Catholic. This isn't a Christian store but Catholic.

This store is a miracle in the middle of one of the atheist capitals of the world. Ignore the first reviewer, and visit Agnus Dei, if not for the beautiful merchandize, at least for the wonderful ladies who work behind the counter (especially the sweet and saintly Italian one).

Always excellent...there is nothing like this in the East Bay, and I always save some Christmas shopping for our yearly Thanksgiving trip to Santa Cruz just so I can visit Agnus Dei. Their collection of quality children's books is the best!
