Tony gave an estimate that was reasonable, stayed within the range of the estimate, and did great work on the dent and paint repair of my vehicle. Saved me from having to go through my insurance, which would have cost more and probably raised my rate. His shop does excellent work; I'm very pleased with the outcome of the repair.

We were visiting Santa Cruz, our a/c compressor broke on a Saturday. All the mechanics were closing or were already closed for the weekend. They were closing but Tony was able to diagnose the problem, order the part, drove us to where we needed to be and was so kind. He went out of his way to help us and was very hard working. He was AMAZING. Very honest and fair. He helped this stranded family of 7 be able to get home safely and quickly. We're so grateful for him. He was the only place that didn't turn us away when they were closing and went above and beyond. I hope you come here for anything you may need for your car. I only left one star so I could do this review to warn people to stay away from this terrible place. They are incompetent at auto repair, but worse than just that. They are disorganized and unprofessional. The shop and yard are a total junk yard, dump. The people who work there are disrespectful to each other and to customers. They lie about when they will start or finish a job. They act and look angry and are impolite and either can't speak or understand English or pretend they can't hear you as they ignore as if they were so important and busy. Simple put the very worst Auto Shop I have ever encountered.

I have been taking my car to Tony at Affordable Autobody and Repair for about 10 years. With my first experience he did a really good job of auto body repair at a fantastic price. Since then I've had innumerable repairs and check ups with great results. I am a senior woman, a retired personnel executive, and I'm so happy that I have found someone to work on my car who does good work, is trustworthy and has such a helpful and kind attitude. All of this at very, very reasonable rates!

When it comes to auto paint, you really do get what you pay for. The work this shop did was ok for the money, but there were some minor issues. The spoiler on my car was not taken off before painting. It was taped off and only the top part was repainted. Elsewhere on the car were multiple pinholes, orange peel, fish eyes and runs in the paint. I brought this to the attention of the owner and he assured me that these issues would go away and that the orange peel and pinholes were just white rubbing compound I was seeing in the clearcoat. However, months later those white spots are still there and it is obvious that they are imperfections in the paint. According to another shop the only way to fix them is to repaint the car! I would rate the paint as a 6 out of 10. Maaco would have been slightly more money for a better quality paint job.

I called in the morning hoping to get a aftermarket bumper put on my 4 x 4 truck was very excited that I was able to be accommodated me in short notice.They were very nice professional and did the job very very well and did more than I asked them to do very satisfied would recommend them
