My kids have been doing gymnastics for about 2 years (they are 2&4) but coming here had really taken it to the next level.

Such a shame that they never answer the phone. I've called on different occasions at different times and left voicemails, but nothing. There's never an answer or a call back.

Front desk needs improvement on their manners and how they address parents. Since new ownership they do not care.

AWFUL AWUFL EXPERIENCE! My daughter was there for a year, placing second and third in every event, but they don't care about your child or their growth, they only care about $$$$. The head coach takes her shoe off and throws it at the children to get their attention. When I mentioned this to the owner Cindy Waller she handled the situation incredibly unprofessionally, indirectly accusing me of lying and then never circled back to let me know that the company is not okay with this type of behavior. This didn't even happen to MY child, but it happened to others around her causing a feeling of fear and invoking EMOTIONAL ABUSE trauma to all who were there. Unfortunately as parents you are out of luck when it comes to options for competitive gymnastics in SCV, and the Waller's know that and use it to their advantage. Because of Chris Waller's tie in at UCLA MANY parents bite their tongue in order to not jeopardize their child's opportunities. IT IS WRONG!

This review is unrelated to the quality of the classes but I used to take classes there as a teenager, and I was told to not wear a sports bra by some woman that wasn't even my instructor or teacher. She made me stop my practice and go get a "free shirt". The male students on the other hand had their whole chest out while they practiced. It's gross and sexist and demeaning to shame an underage girls body. Ironic coming from a fat ugly Karen b***** Thank you.

GymJam has been the best place for my kids. My kids have been supported, encouraged, and so excited to excel in gymnastics. We love the coaches, and they love the kids. Wallers does a great job of teaching the kids safely-- they make sure they're strong enough to do the skills safely.

I brought my son here about a month ago and he absolutely loved it. He came back from a broken bone and was feeling a little scared but the coaches were great. They made him feel safe and taken care of with zero Judgements. Raj, Régulo and Joe are great, more so after we started to get to know how they are, my son can't stop talking about them. Making lots of progress and feel safe with equipment.

My son has been a gymnast at GO for 9 years. They have an extremely strong boys team and in 2019/20 had 4 boys on the National Teams (more than any other gym in the US) and the boy's head coach, Coach Paul is also a national team coach. My son has worked with Coaches Eric, Tiko, Manvel, and Nico as well as Coach Paul and they are (were) wonderful coaches. Even when my son missed significant amounts of time when he was overseas participating in a different sport the gym worked with him and helped keep the love of the sport going. Front Office Manager Tony is great, hard working and just a good person all around. Unfortunately, I can't give any personal input on the girls side but the coaches are long termers and they tend to have gymnasts that stay which is a good sign and the management is solid! While my son is probably too tall to have a real career in gymnastics, I don't regret putting him in this sport as it is probably the best all around sport.
