1,000,000 times better than CVS pharmacy. Went there to get meds, no line, no attitude and it took a total of 3 minutes to pick up and leave. BONUS: I called in first and guess what? NO WAIT, NO HOLD, NO 30 MINUTE WAIT TO TALK TO SOMEONE!!!! Wow!!! This place is PARADISE compared to CVS Pharmacy!!!!

Have always had a good experience visiting this pharmacy. Todays visit was particularly good, thanks to the extra effort by Mina and the other pharmacy staff. She did not hesitate to contact Valencia Pharmacy to track down an item they didn't sell at Vons, and got me all the information I needed. She then proceeded to walk the aisles of the store to locate the OTC items I needed. She then expedited the RX items I was in need of. Will continue to send all our prescriptions here.

HORRIBLE! Arrived at front entrance to find only 3 shopping carts left. Entered store and found empty sterilizing wipe dispenser. Tried to log into official Vons coupon web page but could not get it to work or change from strange San Diego default location. Extremely poor customer service and incompetent IT support. DO NOT SHOP AT VONS!

It was Fathers Day and I had just picked up my wife and 1 year old from the airport. I really wanted thin sliced ribeyes to make some tacos for the family so we stopped by this Vons. I left the family in the car and went inside. There were non on the meat shelves, bummer. I was dreading going back to the car empty handed and having to tell the wife that we have to go to a different store. I asked the gentleman at the meat counter to check the back which he did, but nada! Rather than gentleman stop owing there he asked the butcher is he was able to slice some up. Butcher looked at me with a smile and said absolutely with a friendly smile. 5 minutes later I had my thin sliced ribeyes. That is customer service. Butcher didn't make no awkward face, or seemed to be bothered in any way about the request!! Kudos too this two guys!!! Store is overall clean and people are nice.

I usually shop at a Ralph's near where I live but happened to have stopped at this store the other day and found two items which I've never, ever seen at Ralphs: - Cento white clam sauce. If you like white clam sauce this is so much better than Progresso and it also states that the can is non BPA lined. - Family pack of Amy's organic cheese enchiladas. I can barely find the regular, smaller versions at Ralphs so this was a happily shocking discovery. I didn't even know that it came in a large pack! I will still shop closer to me but I now know that I will be going to this location at least a few times a month to stock up on these items and whatever else I find there.

Recently bought hot wings and potatoes wedges from them and they were extremely tough and dry. They looked like they were sitting under heat lamp for a very long time or they were lunch lift over. It's not our first time buying chicken from them that were hard and dry.

On May 9, 2021 I go into this store which I have done for the last 18 years. Upon walking in I saw the Store Manager, Elise (don't know her last name), touched her on the shoulder and said hello. I went to the floral department and as expected, due to Mother's Day, all the flowers were pretty much sold out. I went back to Elise and asked if she could assist in any way. To my astonishment she immediately yelled in an angry tone of voice "don't ever touch me again"! I told her it was only a friendly gesture. She then went on an unbridled anger tirade of yelling "don't touch me again" over & over. I informed her that type of behavior and retort will not be tolerated and a complaint will be filed. She yelled "go ahead". As I then began walking out of the store she kept yelling the same words and stated multiple times "get out of my store"! As I turned around I could see virtually all of the customers looking at me as if I was doing something wrong. It's evident that not only is this individual unprofessional (a gentle word asking not to be touched would have sufficed) this individual is somewhat unstable & troubled. As a business owner myself I would never have this person working for me. I had a discussion with the manager Dave Grushkin who was very cooperative & understanding and said he would have a talk with her. Thankfully he did state she was going to be transferred to another location. In the meanwhile, I won't be going back to this store until after she's gone and I would suggest you do the same.

The pharmacy staff was very rude when I called to let her know that they have left messages about a prescription on the wrong number. She did not sound like she cared that a patient was missing their medication. I do not recommend filling any prescription at this pharmacy.

This Vons is not a pleasant place to shop. I feel some of the workers are so RUDE. They don't bother to greet you and it feels that they don't appreciate you being there. I'd rather shop at Vallarta...There's got to be a major changes with all attitude

The butcher part of this store is terrible. The only person that's professional and courteous is the young man, who is slender and tall. The older ladies are not helpful at all. Just plain lazy.

Their produce department continues to let me down. Rotten veggies, old produce and this time moldy packaged okra. At this point I think they purposefully leave old produce out to do whatever they can to make a buck. Also, bought milk four days ago with an expiration date of Mar 23...bought milk yesterday with an expiration date of Mar 01. How the heck is that possible?! Totally poor quality control and I'm fed up with them! Never again!!! I cannot spend the money on food that might hurt my family and for them to continue to put out poor quality items, is a slap in the face to the community.
