“I love going to this store.
1. The staff is very friendly. Luis (Louise) is very knowledgeable about pet products and there's something that he doesn't know, he'll make sure to find the right resource for you.
2. They carry a whole variety of pet items - little fun trinkets and a variety of pet foods... their items cost less compared to other pet stores in SCV.
3. If they don't carry the product you need, they will order it for you and they will have it the next day.
4. Their customer service is great!”
“I was looking for an established vet for our little boston terrier, Dumpling. VIP checked all of the boxes and we scheduled a visit. We met with Dr. Roberts and she was absolutely wonderful. My dog got excited when she entered the exam room and Dr Roberts sat on the floor with Dumpling so they can get to know each other. She examined Dumpling for allergy issues and gave us a prescription. The whole staff was so sweet and accommodating! We just took Dumpling back to VIP yesterday to get spayed and met with Dr. Cisneros. He was very nice and did his pre-surgery exam on Dumpling and took her to the back. The staff reassured that they would call me when the surgery was completed and they did! Very professional, very compassionate, clean office and the staff is wonderful!! Couldn't ask for any better!!”
“So grateful for Dr. Vanessa and her team. I have an elderly cat, who was really sick. I had difficulty finding answers as to what was happening with his health. I had gone to two vets before only to receive no answers, no medication, but also huge bills.
Dr. Vanessa was not only affordable, but gave me the right medications and diet changes that my cat has responded great. I really thought my cat had reached the end of his life, but I am happy to report he is now doing great. I am so grateful for finding a reliable vet that I am recommending them to everyone.
I had a dog that got very sick in the past. I took him to three vets only to end up bankrupt with a dead dog and no answers. I have grown a huge distrust for vets. I am glad that I called around trying to find a better solution for my cat. He is looking so much better now.”
“Great local vet for rabbits! I bring my bunny here for regular visits and even some not so fun sick visits. They have been incredibly helpful, and kind every time I’ve visited. They are also quite versed in rabbit medicine, their second opinion on a diagnosis saved my rabbits life a few months back.”

“I have been going to The Cat Doctor and Friends for many many years. Dr. Linger is a fantastic vet and gave compassionate thoughtful and caring counsel for me and my elderly cats. She was there for me and texted me very quickly when I was in dire need of a response. She also was there for me when I had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to my 17-year-old cat. Because of the The Cat Doctor my kitty got a few extra comfortable quality years with me. The front desk staff are all helpful and kind. They focus on cats alone which is also great, and always the quality of life of the kitty comes first with stellar veterinary expertise and advice. It’s also really nice that they have their own hospital care available if you need it! If you have cats in your home and your heart, please seek out the care of The Cat Doctor and Friends.”
“I really like my Dr., but if I had a tail, I wouldn't be wagging it as I walk in! We have 3 dogs under Sweetwater care. Doctors and technicians are all so sweet and accomodating. I honestly believe they truly love every pet who walks though their door. Im sure it happens, but I've never seen my dogs or others' cats and dogs having anxiety. In contrast to other waiting rooms, theirs is spacious, clean, inviting and comfortable and all the pets relaxed. Even on their first visit, animals are perceptive and they sense the vibe, that they're walking into genuine love and care. Sweetwater helps alot of animals, large and small and they are very knowledgeable. Our dogs love them and they know where they are! They act like they're going to see a friend when we pull in the parking lot! They've had shots and exams, and always remember that there are treats and cuddles from "hi Grizzly" through "bye-bye Grizzly", (or "Angel" or "Bella"). I also truly appreciate the rapport we have, human to human. They welcome questions and dialogue. We never feel rushed no matter how busy they are. And with that said, they're well staffed and timely. We've never been kept waiting over 5 or 10 minutes, tops. I know they get emergencies, so it may happen someday, but we would understand. I don't know how they do it! To all at Sweetwater: Thank you for your kindness and for taking such good care of us humans and our fur babies. Love you guys! Dr. Caitlin Seeley did everything she could to answer our questions, check documents, and even ask the USDA specific things we had questions about. Seeley went above and beyond to help us get our friends cat reunited with his owner! Jacob was another staff member who was knowledgeable and awesome too!
I'm happy to say that Sitka is home and happy now thanks to Happy Pets.”
“I wish I had a happier post, but recently had to put one of my fur babies down after a quick illness. And unfortunately, my other is also in poor health. Lauren treats me like family every time I come in, every time I call and always goes above and beyond. Dr Brink could not have been more compassionate as we put an end to little Buddy's suffering. Class people, quality work and incredible care. I have read a few negative reviews about what they charge. If you are looking for cheap, shoddy work, maybe this isn't the place for you. but if you want quality compassionate care AT A FAIR PRICE SCAH gets it done.”
