I love hardware stores but the manager or owner of this store is the worst public relations person I've ever met....I was killing Time while my car was being serviced walking through his store looking at all the cool stuff and when I was leaving he yelled at me and said " What's the matter sir don't we have what you need" very loud and embarrassing....That is not the way you treat your customers

We stopped in here for a few supplies. We are from out of town and appreciate the smaller hardware stores to the big box hardware stores. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The clean restrooms were also a bonus. Thank you so much for a great shopping experience.

Entered this store early evening looking for an unusual small piece of RV plumbing. Which in all fairness the RV World could not help and recommended to check a hardware store at this time. In short, I knew an adapter piece could be found in a hardware store. Well the first person, a staff worker young man in this True Value store. Greeted us with a friendly welcome and was about to help in the search. But, unfortunately a older guy, slight stocky build. Another staff worker, or manager of the store. Inquired about the piece of plumbing we may need. Soon as we mentioned it's an RV piece and looked at it. He flat out said "we don't carry anything that could work with it." Me and my friend being insistent upon looking, he proceeded reluctantly to help. Did look at a few items but no adapter found at the time in this store. The main issue here is this guy did not even believe some how maybe he could be of help. It seemed the young man and the lady behind the counter were zipped lipped and did not what to interject a helpful suggestion due to this guy's attitude. With all my years of high level customer service. That's why this small complaint is being filed here. This manager or maybe owner - I did not see any name tags - could have first been a lot more agreeable yet mention that he is not sure if an adapter can be found. The RV World did it right even though we could not find it there at this time mentioned. In all, HOME DEPOT on Newhall had what we needed. Which at the beginning of our search lol... I did tell my friend shopping with me we will find it at HOME DEPOT... The End... lol

Before I even walked in I was greeted by a girl outside, and despite the cold weather, she had an amazing attitude and set the precedence for my visit. As soon as I walked through the front doors, there was an employee there, who asked what I was looking for, and led me to the exact spot where I could find what I needed. After helping me find the item, he asked what it was for so that he could give me the best option. After a brief explanation, I believed him 100%. because one of the reasons why I was there in the first place was to fix a botched job. And exactly what he said would happen, is what happened and needed to be fixed. Finally, the gentleman at the register was so sweet and very approachable. Moral of the story, I paid way less than I thought I was going to, and had impeccable service. It's safe to say that I will be returning to this location anytime I need anything. Whoever the manager is of this place has done an amazing job with hiring and maintaining customer service.

The 1st place I go to for house/ hardware needs. They are so helpful! Store is well stocked and has everything I need. Davy was very helpful with an outdoor furniture refinishing project. He suggested the perfect product and then told me how to apply it.

Do not go here if you are a WOC. The owner was incredibly rude and sarcastic to me. He yelled at me for not being in line when there was only 1 other person there, very confusing. I don't imagine him speaking to a man the way he spoke to me. When I asked for a basic service he was very condescending and inappropriate, especially for being an owner. Save your time and energy and just go to Home Depot.

Love the fact that you can go in and be greeted by very knowledgeable people. The store be small caries good quality products. I have never walked out empty handed, they always have what I am looking for.

I like this place, I would rather pay more knowing I am supporting a local family business. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly, something you won't get at one of the larger chains.
