Quirky but friendly staff but they are cat people so I would expect that. As with any Vet, they recommend EVERY possible food, drug, tests and procedure and I can hear the cash register chu-ching with every suggestion. Still, I wouldn't take my kitty anywhere else.

The five stars is for the reception staff who answers the phone. They were so nice and polite and sweet. They were able to help me with a referral.I personally did not visit this vet or have my animals seen by them. But omg I love their front desk!!!

The worst dr I’ve ever gone to. They asked me to drop my cat off at 10:30 because she had been vomiting for 2 days. It took the dr 2 hours to call me & say they couldn’t examine her because she was resisting. This is the 1st time I’ve ever just dropped my animal & not been present for examination-she probably would have let them if I was present holding her. Then she stated does she have her rabie shot? I said no my 2 cats do not go outside-then she said well, I won’t see her again if she doesn’t have one. Nothing said about her illness until she asked what her symptoms were-I thought to myself maybe she would know if she me along with my cat. At that point I was tempted to just say I’m picking her up. Then she said well we will have to sedate her to check her & give her an X-ray & I can’t be certain we will see anything. I was appalled after I hung up with no concern for my sweet kittie who was very sick. The end of the conversation I said just tell me how much to sedate & xray-she said I will have one call you with the amount-she called about 1/2 hr later & started $75 for seeing her $230 for X-ray & on & on. She said if we have to do exploratory surgery we are not open all night to care her. At that point I said “I’m picking her up” left my house & picked up-I would NEVER leave any animal there-what a waste of time & any Dr who can’t examine a cat shouldn’t be a cat dr!!

The Cat Doctor and Friends is by far the only place that you want to bring your cat. The entire staff are friendly, courteous and professional. When we moved out of California we wanted to take them with us, if we only could. Thank you for years of excellent care for our "kids". We miss you! We haven't been able to find a vet that comes close to The Cat Doctor and Friends.

We have always been please with The Cat Dr & Friends. The experience is always professional, caring, and loving. Dr. Linger is thorough. Explains care options, takes the time to listen to all questions. Has even called us after hours. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Our only regret is that we don't live closer. Whether you're looking for a new vet or a 2nd opinion, we highly recommend The Cat Dr and Friends.

Fabulous staff. Our cats are much more relaxed in the all cat environment versus a practice with dogs and other animals.

We came back to The Cat Doctor & Friends when our aging kitty's health started to decline. The thought was to seek help from a veterinarian who specializes in cats- they did not disappoint. We appreciated their conservative approach, thoroughness, compassion, and patient understanding as we dealt with our cat's medical issues. Will return with our next cat family members!

I went to the Cat Doctor because my cat had blood in her urine. The doctor ordered a multitude of tests racking up to $600. She then told me that my cat had minor kidney disease and moderate to severe heart disease. Understandably, I was distraught thinking my cat was dying. The doctor's next steps were to do an echo for her heart which would cost $700. After a few days of being incredibly sad about the status of my cats health, I considered our options and realized that the issue of their being blood in my cats urine was still not addressed. I called them asking why after spending so much money with them, why the initial issue I had brought her in for had not been taken care of. The doctor stated that they next step would be an ultrasound and putting her under anesthesia wouldn't be possible until we figure out what is going on with her heart. I could not fathom how we would be able to spend hundreds of more dollars. The doctor simply relied, "Yes it is going to be expensive unfortunately." We decided it would be best to get a second opinion and took her to an alterative vet with her medical records. This vet said there was absolutely nothing wrong with her kidney's, her heart was fine, and that the blood in her urine was just from being anxious and a change her diet would help. She's is perfectly healthy. Total cost for all of this was $64. Not only did the Cat Doctor unnecessarily put me though the stress of worrying something was horribly wrong with my cat's health, they were set on ordering unnecessary tests and conducting procedures that would have put us in debt. Either this place is completely irresponsible and negligent, or they are great con artists. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone and they should compensate me for their negligence and the horrible stress they put me and kitty through.

The doctors and staff at the Cat Doctor are the most empathetic and compassionate people that I've ever met in this industry. They treated me and family (especially our fur baby) with the utmost respect, care and dignity. If you have a kitty and love them as much as me and family, then the Cat Doctor should be your only Veterinarian because they'll treat your Kitty like family. The Cat Doctor is the absolute best place and solution for every cat needs. Check them out and you'll be so very happy that you did and you'll never go anywhere else. Thank you Cat Doctor for all that you've done for us and we appreciate each and every one of you!!!

I'm very disappointed in this vet that claims to care about cats. My cat has been on Fluoxetine for over a year. I called to refill his prescription but they won't refill it unless I pay $75 for a check up that he doesn't need. My cat is now completely out of his medication and when I told them I don't have the money right now for a $75 visit they said oh well. I said I'd find a new vet and they hung up on me. Thank you for leaving my cat with no medication to go through withdrawals.

We took our cat to an animal hospital near us. They charged us 490 dollars and that was without labs. If we wanted labs or xrays that was another 1000 dollars. We cancelled our follow up appt and took our cat to The Cat Dr. She has a thorough exam which we witnessed, an ultrasound, full labs and it was less than 300 dollars. Our kitty is now doing so much better and we have her life long vet who is caring, reasonable and doesn't upsell everything. Thanks Dr. Megan.

After shopping at Smart & Final, I found a lethargic kitten lying on the hot asphalt next to my car (what little shade it could find, I imagined). I wasn't sure if the kitten was going to make it. She was dehydrated, dazed, looked sick, starved and weak. I took her home, gave her some water and food and she perked up, but was still pretty congested, and squinting through her crusty eyes - but there she was - awake. Every animal shelter I called was closed or full. I was transferred to Animal Control, but they couldn't guarantee that the kitten wouldn't be put down. My heart sank. The next morning I called Cinema Vet to get her some help. They too were full but referred me to The Cat Doctor. In a sea of "No's" we finally got a YES! This amazing group of compassionate, cat-loving caregivers were absolutely golden. They swept her right in. She had multiple issues, but by the end of the visit, the little fighter started to show her kitten side. I am not a pet owner (my son has asthma and is allergic to cats) but my entire family and I waited on bated breath to see if this little girl would make it. Within a few hours, she was up and playing. 24 hours later, and she was HILARIOUS, full-of-life and purring the whole time. What a transformation! The kitten is now being fostered while waiting for her forever home. I can honestly say, I've never witnessed a team of such warm folks come together with such caring hearts and in the spirit of kindness as I did with this one. Jackie, Mary, Anthony, Dr. C and Nancy - Thank you all so much! You're INCREDIBLE!
