I recently visited this Sherwin Williams paint store and had an extremely unpleasant experience. The lady in the front who claimed to be the store manager at first, then later said she was the assistant manager… was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She gave short, curt answers to my questions and even said, "I can't help you if you don't have answers to my questions." When I tried to express how her behavior made me feel, she refused to serve me altogether.
It’s troubling to see that many other bad reviews seem to mention the same person. As a business owner myself, I would never tolerate such behavior from an employee representing my business. I will not be returning to this store, and I advise others to avoid it as well.

The young girl working the counter was not very knowledgeable and was trying to sell me supplies that would not work together. ( rollers and handles, different diameters). However she did help me with opening a pro account and saved me money ?. Thank you

Not helpful staff (lady at the store) . I needed paint I ordered online to be handed over to my painter. The lady refused to do that or allow me to authorise the handover in a secure way. Sherwin Williams doesn’t allow us to add or change the pick up person.
I had to drive to the store from south LA to pickup the paint.
Why is there no way for customers to securely authorise contractors to pick the paint or have any alternative to do so online. Isn’t this a common scenario you encounter?

The lady working at the store is very unprofessional and extremely rude. Not helpful at all and acts like we the customers know what the paint lingo is and how to order the proper paint. I came in last week and she was so rude, told me I needed to bring in the material to match my project. Extremely unprofessional and not helpful Whatsoever. I was not pleased. She told me to wait as it appeared I was causing her an inconvenience. She said come back next week and we are having a sale. So I came back today and he attitude was the exact same. So rude and not helpful at all. Not ever a hello can I help you. I told her I needed some paint to match my project and I provided her a piece of the stucco. She didn’t use it and said I didn’t tell her and I gave her tabs. What! She is a very unhappy person based on her attitude towards customers and her inability to even maintain a professional level of communication. I will not be going back to this location as long as this nasty lady works there. You will know when you see her! Trust me she’s not hard to miss once you talk to anyone there.

Purchased 2 gallons of Duration exterior paint from this location on 8/25/23. The sales associate quoted me the wrong price by $6 pet gallon prior to mixing the paint. He tried to sell at the quoted price due to his mistake but a manager advised that she could not assist. I paid the higher price as I didn't want to stick the sales associate with the already mixed paint. 10 days later Sherwin Williams has a sale for 30% off of Duration exterior paint. I went to to the store to purchase another gallon along with inquiring about a price adjustment. Same manager that would not assist with the misquoted price advised there would be no assistance with a price adjustment. I left very dissatisfied with this experience and did not purchase another gallon from that location. However, I stopped by the local Lowes and purchased a gallon of Everlast exerior in the same color as what I'd previously purchased at the Sherwin Williams store. Additionally, Lowes price matched the Duration sale price even though it was compatible to Duration but not the same name. My new store for all paint and paint supplies is Lowes. The local (and all local) Sherwin Willams store in Santa Clarita, CA has lost a customer for life.

I love the store. However the lady who answers the phone is extremely rude and unprofessional. I've called twice in the past week just to purchase samples and each time she was SO RUDE. It was as if she was inconvenienced just to take my order. The first time I called, I chalked it up to..maybe she was just having a bad day.. but the second time I called a few days later to order more samples I was almost yelled at just when asking her how much the total would be.. she was extremely short and seemed annoyed each time I called. I was only on the phone with her for less than a minute each time. Not sure why shes so unhappy.

My home desperately needed exterior paint. I had dark ugly marks coming out from the vents, and when the heat is on, the residue is awful looking. I got several estimates, my home is 2,400 ft, plus a two car garage and a separate tandem garage. There is a balcony off the master bedroom and the front porch, which will all add to the sq footage of paint needed for the exterior. It as not cheap, but I like the colors and quality f the product and so I elected to to keep the same brand and colors.. The staff was great, everything was ordered in advance so my painters just dropped n, grabbed to paint and began painting. The later part of the week my painters were running low on the main color. The staff was kinda enough to tell me about the 40% discount n Friday. So by Friday, we managed to get all the paint needed at a much better price. The shop employees were knowledgeable, very friendly, were able to pull up our HOA DEVELOPMENT which listed every paint. I had some info, but knowing SW had the colors in the computer system was great news.

I cannot say enough about Adam and the crew at Sherwin-Williams. We needed to match 8 colors and were pretty sure it couldn't be done. Adam jumped right in and found matching colors that were often better than our first choice! If patience is a virtue, Adam is a very virtuous guy! Our house will be painted with the most beautiful Sherwin-Williams colors and we are forever grateful!

Sean B was at the counter today and was so nice. He was helpful polite and really was awesome. My wife raved about he remembered her and her brother from two weeks prior. What a breath of fresh air on a snowy day . Made her paint choices easy and a great experience. Kuddos management on a fabulous hire.
