Ownership/Management is not local and the company is not responsive. They sold me on timeliness, yet my flooring project took 2 months longer than the 1 week they promised. I'm still waiting for Warranty information which they can easily email to me (this is an example of how disorganized the entire company is and how the top 3 people do not coordinate at all). The work was never completed correctly or on time. I had to ask installation crew to come back 5 or 6 times to fix things.They were just as expensive (or more expensive) than their competitors. I do not recommend this company.

We used SCV Floorsmith for a 600 sq ft room in our house - replacing carpet and matching the flooring from the rest of the house - and it turned out amazing. They were efficient, on time, worked quickly (and frankly, pretty quietly), and the finished product was beautiful. We’ll use them again.

Not happy to leave this review but want to let the company and people know. The ownership is not local and you never get to see them, local person in charge schedules the install on weekdays that he is off and then send the installation team that does not speak or understand any English. They sent non experienced team to install easy vinyl flooring and they left gaps in the boards at few places. When I reached out someone came back to fill up those gaps with some kind of putty and it looks terrible now. And it’s not like they are any less expensive.

We had a great experience with Chelsea and her crews. Our place looks brand new. We didn't want to go with a big box store because we wanted a personal experience and we like to support small business. We got a great quote on LVP and carpet. We are so happy. Chelsea helped us with our choices and scheduled around our very busy schedule. I would definitely recommend this company and the crews that came into our home. They worked hard and cleaned up. Gerardo and his crew did such a good job and moved all our furniture for us.I'll include pictures after we do a bit of decorating.Thanks again.Cyn A.

Second time hiring SCV Floorsmith to renovate our flooring. Two years ago we had vinyl installed in the whole upstairs, and now we wanted to replace the tiles from downstairs using the same vinyl style. John went above and beyond to help find it for us, since this specific style is already discontinued. Jose’s team worked on the installation and they did a great job. The guys were very professional, polite, and hard workers. Nick does an excellent communication and makes sure we’re satisfied customers.

We wanted to replace all of our existing flooring with vinyl plank. SCV Floorsmiths had a reasonable bid and an amazing selection of vinyl plank.The crew that did the demolition of existing and install of new, were fabulous. I am a licensed commercial contractor, and can verify that this flooring crew is the best I have experienced. The quality of workmanship was excellent. They moved all furniture during the install and did a completecleaning after the project was finished. It took them 4 days from start to finish of about 3000 Sq feet.

Disappointed. The install went pretty smoothly once schedule was clarified (they initially arrived 1 day early). The install teams were very nice and timely. I anticipated disruption and that there may be a little damage to baseboards and things and there were. My issues were re follow up. There were a few things that needed fixing and it took months to get someone back here. The "fix" to the carpet lifting was to drill it down with a screw (is that a thing?). One spot on the floor was fixed with glue and a mallet - ok. But one section of the floor has a slight bump. I've asked all of my peeps if they can feel and they can. Now I'm told that if they try to fix it, they will probably make it worse, not better. Yes, it's only a small spot, and if it were near a wall, I probably wouldn't care so much. But it's at the front door so I walk over it every day. Many, many texts, and a few visits and it's not fixed. I waited years to replace these floors and carpet and the investment is a big one for me. My experience has not been great re follow up and customer care. Buyer beware.

I was amaze after seeing the finish job. It was just as my friend said. My friend Ray recommended me to SCV flooring. He told me they did an excellent job with his old floor. Now I am a SCV believer and I highly recommend SCV to anyone.

SCV Floorsmith did our Dining / Kitchen Area. They refinished the existing wooden floor and it turns amazing looks new. Jose and his crew were amazing (workmanship). The father and son work so hard and the outcome is nearly perfect 99.99%. I will definitely recommend SCV Floorsmith to my Castaic Neighbors and my friends in LA. My wife is so happy. Gracias.

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience from start to finish with SCV Floorsmith. We'd had a hard time just trying to obtaining quotes for what we'd envisioned our upstairs and steps to look like. Since we had carpeting, other companies were not confident in their ability to provide us with what we wanted. I'd worked with John and Nick and seriously couldn't be happier! They were super informative, knowledgeable, and worked quickly to complete the install quickly and efficiently. The pricing was extremely reasonable and fair. The installers were equally amazing! Not only did they show up on time, but they were able to finish ahead of schedule! They communicated well and so kind! My husband and I will definitely use SCV for our next flooring project. They went above and beyond and truly earned our trust in the abilities.

I had the pleasure of working with SCV Floorsmith for a tile flooring project after another floor installer was unable to complete the project.The SCV Floorsmith team's responsiveness and integrity made me feel like a valued customer. I felt like I could trust them and I am happy I did! The installation team was friendly, professional, and efficient. They were able to complete the project without adding random fees.The project manager/surveyor provided a reasonable quote in a timely manner and answered all my questions and alleviated my concerns.You should consider SCV Floorsmith team if you are looking for help with a flooring project that you want to be completed with good quality, quickly, and within budget.Great job team! SCV Floorsmiths did a terrific job installing bamboo flooring in a bedroom suite. The two installers who came were very professional, competent, friendly, and on time. On the first day of the project we experienced an hours-long, area wide blackout and the guys had to stop work after a few hours but they showed up the second day extra early and finished the job in the time promised. We’re planning an extensive refinishing job on some expensive-but-worn Brazilian Cherrywood floors and would hire them again for that job.

On Monday March 20th I called to see if I could stop by and look at floor samples! Chelsea met me there in 30 minutes. One week later we had 2 bedrooms and large family room with beautiful new floors in Long Beach! The guys did an awesome job and we are very happy!
