I want to say thanks to all NSD schools. My child attended different schools in the NSD because of our moving. I saw that all teachers were professional and had very good skills as a teacher. I am an academician, so education is very important for me . At the same time, my child was so happy at the school. It is important as education. Also,I feel lucky because NSD managed the pandemic period very well. On the other hand, I think that Santa Clarita Valley is so lucky because of the Superintendent Jeff Pelzel. He is so professional and so friendly to every family. You can reach him very easily and always gives you positive advice as soon as possible. We are still inside the NSD and look forward to the start of the new education year.. Online education is not easy, but I believe NSD has made the necessary preparations professionally for new year.Thanks to all staff !

We attended the childcare during the distance learning and benefited greatly from the structured approach and dedicated, focused work ethic of the staff. Our younger children completed their work with the guidance of the staff and it was a very good experience despite the challenges of the distance learning.

It all starts from the top, I must say that the leadership set forth in this school system is second to none, the commitment to educational excellence is superior and you see this example in the education to the students, The staff is committed to there overall education and future success of their students.

Amazing staff and leadership. This school system has dedicated professionals!! Incredible commitment and attention to details. Teachers and district level staff have an unwavering work ethic.

This school district has failed to protect its students who live in the area. They claim to be rated high but it is based on old scores. It is not what it appears to be . Be smart transfer to Saugus school district or someplace else. Tremendous amount of bullying at Oak Hills Elementary. Kids are not safe there. In addition too many substitutes think they have the right to touch your child. I went to administration and they assured me the substitute would not return and she did about a month later. There main concern is to keep up enrollment. that's why they have open enrollment. They will take anyone. 33 students in a class with no aide is ridiculous. Located in a beautiful area but no worth the risk of sending your child here.

Paul Cordeiro the superintendent is beyond rude. Taking my kids out and going to a better district. I've never been so disrespected in my life. Very disappointed in Newhall USD. FIRE THIS GUY.
