From work on my RV, and two other cars...they have been honest in their diagnostic and reasonable in their work.Be mindful, this is a busy shop and it might take a little longer due to unplanned complications along the way.I recommend this business to those of us looking for reasonable rates.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I wrote the address of All Star Auto, located within several other auto shops at 27266 Camp Plenty Road, Canyon Country, Ca. and gave it to my sister. She gave the address to the AAA tow driver who took her 27266 Camp Plenty Road, but lied that Mario The Mechanic was All Star Auto. He told her that Mario was Alex the owner of All Star Auto and drove off. She asked Mario owner of Mario The Mechanic if he was Alex and he also lied to her walk away. Another mechanic took the keys from her told her it would be ready by 1 PM. She was scammed. Women are usually scammed and treated like this. If you don’t want to be treated like this or scammed stay away from Mario The Mechanic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The person there keeps saying call me back in two weeks. Ive been calling for 3 months now. What a waist of time. Just a bunch of lies there. Don't waist your time with this place. No reliability, no credibility no go.

I brought two vehicles in for service. One van needed a fuel pump replaced and my Toyota Corolla needed new brakes . The customer service here is great! Mario was honest about pricing and the repairs that needed to be done on both vehicles. The time it took for him to be done was pretty great. I'm satisfied and I will come back here again.

Very dishonest. Gives you one price then later when the job is done gives you another price. Treat me bad. Told me not to go back when I told him that's not the estimate you gave me. I don't know why all people I talk to they say there car took a long time to be fixed. Months...crazy. Take your car elsewhere pay a little more and get your car back much much sooner.

They had my truck for nearly a month and failed to fix it. Wouldn't be a big deal but they also failed to communicate updates as to the status of my repair. Don't go here! Very unprofessional! I ended up taking my truck back after 26 days! I took my truck to Leon's Transmissions and they had my truck as good as new in 4 days.

I feel I must share my experience with "Mario the Mechanic" with my SCV neighbors. I recently moved to the SCV and was looking for an honest and fair mechanic to perform all of my mechanical work.Inept workmanship, damage to my existing parts, days of delays, profanity, threats and racial slurs were all part of my experience.Details:I initially brought my car in for a simple brake job. Continued grinding noise caused me to bring my car back into the shop for an adjustment. Mario either did not turn the brake rotors properly or did not do it at all.The brakes were eventually repaired correctly. I brought my car in several days later for a wheel bearing job (Coincidental or as a result of work done to my brakes, who knows?)The wheel bearing was replaced but continued inept workmanship had caused every warning light on my dash to light up.Mario worked unsuccessfully to rectify this problem... For SIX days!Unable to be without my car any longer, I went and picked my car up..The dash light issue was never fixed.I took my car to the Ford dealership, had the wheel bearing properly replaced, w/no further issues with dash lights. The dealership mechanic showed 3 separate parts to me that were damaged during Mario's repair. -A bolt which was not factory installed but instead a bolt was used, which looked like it was found on the floor and cut down to fit. -The wheel bearing, which was installed by Mario...The rubber seal was scarred & damaged. MOST IMPORTANTLY SAFTY RELATED!-The factory wheel hub had grooves carved into it, as well as grind marks which indicated that they tried to forcibly install the wheel bearing... Obviously none of this damage to the wheel hub was within factory standards and made absolutely no sense. -2 missing lug nuts from 2 separate Tires.Mario would've been the last one to remove the tires due to either wheel bearing or brake work. As if all of this weren't concerning enough, things turned absolutely insane when I revisited Mario's shop. I brought the parts and paperwork in for both mechanical work performed by the dealer as well as Lugnuts replaced. Mario and his mechanic instantly denied responsibility for any of this, blaming every bit of it on the dealer. When I suggested that the dealer had no motivation to damage these parts or lose the Lugnuts, Mario asked me what I wanted him to do. I suggested that he reimburse $110 to me for a cost of the wheel hub and Lugnuts.Mario quickly became irritated and suggested that he would not pay. When I stated "Then I'll have to take other steps", Mario became enraged, issuing profanity, threats and racial slurs to me and in the process, had to be physically held back by one of his mechanics.I am not one to pull out my camera, but I truly felt that my safety was threatened so I did so to protect myself. After threatening physical harm to me, I stated "If you touch me, I will call the cops".He stated that he should call the cops on me and told me to get out. I walked out, while Mario followed me, continuing to issue profanities and threats. At one point he referred to me as "You're white trash, you're F***ing white trash!" (I have video to back all of this up).Credit to Mario's wife for keeping a calm head, asking Mario to stop and ultimately issuing a check to me for the $110 reimbursement. As a SCV neighbor, I feel it is my responsibility to share this experience with my neighbors.Although Marios does have several 5 star Yelp reviews, there are also several very negative reviews that also speak to inept work, days of delays, and overall unhappy customers.Mario's shop is located @ 27266 Camp Plenty Rd Unit 100 Canyon Country, CA 91351
