Bad service you won't get your car anytime time soon. Took my car in for electrical repair. 4 weeks in the shop just to tell me he's still checking. At the same time he already fixed other cars within the 4 weeks.

I'm new to the valley and needed a quick repair on a "check engine" light. Have already scheduled more repairs. MJ's service was quick, friendly, expert, and priced reasonably. Highly recommended.

i went to his shop he told me my car is gonna be ready for friday and it wasn't, on Saturday he didn't answer my calls he charged me $200 and he didn't do anything i had to change my catalytic convertor he told me that's gonna be $1.800 but for an alternative one and the original one is around $1.100 i told him I'm not trusting in his work and im going for my car, after I pick up my car the air blower wasn't working, bad experience!!

We broke down near pyramid lake/grapevine mountain pass (car overheated). We were towed to mj on Sunday night and had to stay in a nearby hotel. The next morning I showed up to the shop and In(mj mechanic) was very understanding of our situation and our urgency to get home. He worked on the car right away and made it his priority. He was both knowledgeable and thorough with me in explaining what had happened and showing me where the damage was done. He fixed it within a couple hours and even asked me to call him if I had any other questions or issues. Some of the bad comments on google plainly seemed as though people were either impatient or just frustrated. I recently called In to ask him another question regarding my other car and he was happy to help. I would give him 10 stars if I could!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Short Story - DRUNK MECHANIC, SMOKING IN MY CAR, RUNNING MY ENGINE FOR A/C, CAUSED FURTHER DAMAGE TO MY CAR. Long Story - We have been visiting Mr. In Ju at MJ Japanese Auto Care for about a year for various reasons. Our initial impression of Mr. Ju was good. He was fair and reasonably priced. So when my window motor broke on my car, I did not hesitate to bring my car in to see Mr. Ju. I called him the day before I brought it in to confirm that he could repair my window motor, and he said, "of course", so I brought the car in the next day. I drove up to the shop at 10:30am, and I noticed Mr. Ju walking across his shop with an open can of Bud Light in his hand. He saw me coming in, and quickly put the can of beer down on a bench top, out of my view. I thought it was strange that he was drinking a beer, especially while working, but we hadn't had a bad experience with him previously, so I speculatively approached him. He asked what was wrong with my car, and I said that it was the window motor, and said that I had called. He did not remember that I had called the day before. I showed him the issue with the window, and left my car with him, knowing that he had been providing ok service so far. But I was still hesitant. He called me around 1:00pm and said that the car was finished. We arrived to pick up the car at 5:00pm (right before closing), and I saw Mr. Ju sitting inside of my car with the motor running, SMOKING A CIGARETTE! He saw me, and quickly got up, and said, "your car is ready! You're the last customer today." When I approached him, I could smell the alcohol on his breath! I quickly paid and signed the paperwork and left, and thought to myself 'as long as the window is working, I'll just forget about it'. However, I was annoyed by this point. As I drove away, I noticed that Mr. Ju had been sitting in my car with the A/C running full blast, and my car smelled like smoke! I had dropped off the car with a little less than a 1/4 tank of gas, however, it was not empty. As I drove away, my gas light turned on, so I immediately took the car to the gas station. Mind you, there was NO REASON for him to have my engine running. I came in with a broken window motor, not an engine related problem! So my only speculation is that he turned on my car to benefit from the A/C throughout the day, as it was quite warm. I pulled up to the gas station pump and attempted to open my door, and it wasn't working! I tried the unlock button and tried the handle and my door remained closed! I started to stress out, because I was at a gas station and people were waiting behind me. I ended up getting out of my car through the passenger side! I quickly filled up the gas, and tested my exterior door handle, and the door was able to be opened from the outside. I was quite angry by this point, because nothing was wrong with my door locks/handle when I dropped off my car earlier in the day. I called Mr. Ju the next morning, and told him about the door handle being broken on my car after he fixed the window, and he said that I could bring it back in, and he would fix it. I dropped my car off with Mr. Ju the next morning, and I'm extremely upset as this was a simple window motor fix, and now I'm having to take time off work a second day to have a repair done that was broken by the mechanic, in addition to the other reasons I was angry! I came up to him, and gave him the keys to my car and he said he would fix it. He called me up a few hours later, and said that the door lock and handle were repaired. When we got there, we asked what happened. He stated that he didn't repair my window motor. He blamed his assistant, saying that he had made the mistake, and did not connect the wires properly. He said that he did the repairs on my door handle himself. I checked the door handle and it worked, however, I noticed the panel on my door had been broken! I quickly came back to Mr. Ju, and he immediately denied that he broke it. I did not bring him the car with that door panel damaged, he angrily

My car had a bad vibration! I though it was motor mounts but wanted an experts opinion. I called up MJ Auto on a Monday morning at 7:15 and was able to get my car by noon. Amazing fast , reliable and friendly service . Thankful to have found them. I wanted to thank them for the great service so I saw it fit to upload some images to thank them.

He could have had me buy an entire searing rack for my son's car, but determined the issue was something else ... he figured it out, sent the rack back & we didn't get charged anything!

I drive 30 miles just to take all my cars to MJ Japanese Auto Care. Mr Ju is simply the best. He takes care of my cars like his own. He is super honest and very affordable. I can always trust him for the excellent service he provides. Highly recommend this place!
