All around great music store. The school is where it’s at though. The music instructors are top talent and they have a heart for teaching young musicians. Very patient and friendly lessons that helps them grow into their instrument.

Kickass Guitar store in CA. The guys were really cool and helpfull and we had a great experience. I ve not try the music school but it looks great too !!! 100% recommended !

Best music store in town! You can try the instruments with no compromise and get sound advice from an expert. You’ll also find a fabulous selection of great value instruments for all levels, from pro to student. I can’t recommend it enough!

Our experience was so disappointing. A simple hardware swap on a guitar was supposed to take a few days. They pushed a setup onto us when the guitar had already been set up to our satisfaction. After two weeks, the guitar was finally "ready." Only it was out of tune, the strings were buzzing, the "luthier" had shoehorned a spring that didn't fit onto the tremolo, pulling the bridge off balance. The action was so low, the strings were buzzing on the frets. The guitar was at least two steps flat, and overall unplayable. We had provided all of the hardware for the change, (as well as new strings) which they seemed to manage satisfactorily, but then they tried to charge us for tax on the service. We made no purchase of merchandise or parts, so there is no tax collection required. The young man had to spend several minutes on the phone to see if his boss would let him waive that tax. He made it seem as though he were doing a favor. To their credit, we were always treated politely, which was very nice. I wish their work equalled their phone etiquette. Do yourselves a favor and go to Musiq Freqs in Camarillo. They'll do it right the first time and make sure you are satisfied.

Impulse Music Co. you guys are amazing! I had a fantastic experience with Lyle, who exhibited exceptional courtesy and efficiency in handling my request. Additionally, CJ deserves high praise for going above and beyond to fix my daughter's saxophone promptly, ultimately saving the day and ensuring it was ready for my daughters first concert. Their combined efforts made my experience outstanding! I highly recommend Impulse Music Co!

Absolutely love everyone at Impulse!!! CJ is so knowledgeable it’s almost scary.. hahahaha he really is!!! Everyone there is so cool and willing to help with whatever your needs are… my son take guitar lessons there and has improved greatly!!! Love this local business.. thanks guys…

These guys did an amazing job repairing my Martin 000 at very fair price. The binding on both the top and bottom were starting to come loose and by the time I got to them they had both almost come completely off only being attached at the base of the neck on both sides. Initially I wanted it back quicker than I was quoted but after speaking to the technician and having the time requirement explained to me it made more sense, I took their advice and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. They explained that they wanted to keep it in a temperature controlled environment for a certain amount of time to assess unseen damage prior to jumping into the repair. Once they started the repair itself it wouldn't take long but also explained the importance of giving the adhesive time to properly dry in a climate controlled environment after to keep it from coming right back off again soon. They could have just said ok dude, glued it and given it back to me to make a buck but they didn't. Very happy they saved me from myself lol. Thank you guys!

I just had a super inspiring visit. Their stuff is very knowledgeable and genuinely interested in providing all information they have as well as just chatting about music! So many times I came to a guitar center asking for an advise and no one cared just shrugging and responding - we don’t know. Impulse Music have interesting instruments brands I never heard of before

Just an awesome store. They carry the quality boutique/smaller brands that the big chains don’t, and the customer service is great! You can definitely tell the sense of community they have when you walk in. Shoutout to Nials for the guitar pick recommendation!

Visited Impulse Music Store yesterday with my family. We are interested to learn how to play electric guitar since I recently purchased Gibson Les Paul. I want to maximize the use of this equipment since I'm not familiar how these pedals work simultenously and how to setup my guitar in a perfect sound.An associate name Donovan help us navigate the store and the area where will the lesson be. It's a big store with lots of good music stuff. I purchased my 3 months commitment lesson so I can get myself to hopefully learn the in depth of playing electric guitar. I play acoustic guitar for almost 20 years but I'm not an expert player. Just know how to read chords, play just fine and sing . . . just for my hobby when I get tired on my computer work. I will enrol my 2 kids for a piano lesson too. They seem to be willing to learn as well. Peace???
