My 7-year-old and his classmates celebrated a birthday party at Hugo's Gym. The facility is excellent, and the coaches did a fantastic job ensuring that the kids had an unforgettable experience.

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because in my opinion the overall cleanliness could be better. My children absolutely love visiting here for all the things. Staff, super friendly.

The policy for birthday parties has recently changed - unbeknownst to me after booking the reservation within the same month of the policy change. I communicated with staff on five separate occasions (emails and calls) and not one employee mentioned the new change that - again, happened the same month I booked it. The gym is now a shared space for birthdays which is not conducive for children with special needs. Staff needs to inform customers on the new policy change. The staff knew my booking would include children with special needs and yet no one informed me of the new changes that would impact the guests. Hugo's Gym needs to implement more effective and efficient staff training that informs their consumers. Small, light font print on your website does not suffice to inform your consumers amongst a new policy change.

My daughter was assigned to a class with an inconsistent coach, she was unfortunately not able to be there every week like the other coaches. Her class constantly had a substitute. No one ever took the time to communicate with the parents to let us know what was going on with the coach. This went on for a couple of months, I was hesitant to complain because my daughter really loved this gym, and we even paid to have her birthday party there last week. However, Unfortunately, last week when all the groups in class got awards my daughters class had a sub and didn't get an award. I got very frustrated, especially when even a student who it was their first day got an award, but they allowed an entire class to go without getting awarded. I went up to the front desk and complained, I was very disappointed and instead of an apology I got Attitude from the "manager", she said "Well what do you want me to do? I can't make the coach be here when she's sick, I can't make her be here every week if she's in college, do you want me to drop her?" Her first response was to drop my daughter! Instead of looking for a solution, she then said I was yelling at her and took off crying. I then received a phone call from the owner, saying she didn't tolerate my behavior. I am a paying customer who called them out for their unprofessional way of handling a class, there was no communication ever with the parents to let us know that our coach would be absent frequently. No communication to apologize for the fact that our kids didn't get an award and explain that they would be receiving it at a later day. The manager then told me that every student gets evaluated for 3 consecutive weeks and then the coach gives an award, I asked l, then if the kid got an award on his first day why couldn't our kids who have been going weekly and working hard and practicing hard to learn all these gymnastics skills, she replied that their coach had to be present to give award, but I asked how could she if she hadn't been there 3 consecutive weeks to evaluate them. Everything she said was contradicting. My daughter loves gymnastics and since joining Hugo's, her interest had grown even more and all she does is practice her skills over and over again, the manager explained this gym is only recreational and suggested I take my daughter elsewhere, because they don't train at a professional level. So it appears they only want students who just like gymnastics and not love it. The entire conversation with the owner was basically to let me know that I wasn't wanted in that gym. These people don't care about the kids they're coaching, their management is unprofessional and their priority is not the customer, it's themselves. I was basically kicked out, she told me all the coaches were upset with me and my behavior. All I did was complain about a situation that was clearly caused by their negligence. They do have good senior coaches, coach Adam, coach Scott, coach Mia (unfortunately her schedule wasn't consistent), the parkour coach, they do have great coaches but very very very poor management I'm taking the owners advice and taking my little gymnast who dreams of being a professional one day to another gym that will actually appreciate her love of this sport.

Hugo's gym is a great place! Very well maintained, professional, and friendly. Been sending my kids for 10+ years for various classes including: Parkour gymnastics, and ariel silks. Every program has been excellent and my kids enjoy the open gym option on Fridays and Saturdays. My daughter is taking the ariel silks class currently and her coach Cheryl is exceptional, she is so patient and such an excellent coach. You can tell she is passionate and truly cares for her students. Highly recommend!!

Omg!! I can't say enough things about this place! My daughter loves going to the toddler gymnastics class (she's 2 years old). There's enough structure to where she is learning how to follow directions, wait her turn and practice proper class etiquette, but there's also enough free movement to where I'm not trying to control her every 5 seconds. The coach, Corbin, is unreal. He has a young daughter of his own so you can tell he really understands them and has a true passion for teaching our kids. He's sooooo patient. Very gently with the kids. He is a mastermind when it comes to class control and organization. He is superb on spotting, saying cues that kids understand and he is very creative. Every class is something fun and new so it stays interesting for the parents as well. And lastly, the class time in the morning has no other athletes in the gym, which is HUGE for a toddler. No distractions. I've been to many toddler classes up in SCV and this one does not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

Love this place! I've been enjoying Hugo's for 3 years now. When my kids first started they were so shy and nervous! One of the ladies at the front desk walked them up to class and showed them that there was nothing to be afraid of and it been all up hill from there. Watching them have fun and make friends while developing their own confidence, physical abilities and skills is so amazing!Hugo's coaches are always there! (Place we went to before always had a sub at least once a week or a new coach every other week) The coaches show structure and routines and with the same coach all the time they always know where my kids are at and know what they need to focus on! Makes them want to try harder and succeed!

We just had our birthday party at Hugo's GymFitness and let me tell you it was nothing short of amazing! The staff was amazing, The kids got 1 hour and a half out on the gym. Inflatable slides, ziplines, foam pit, trampolines. My kids haven't stopped smiling. All of our guests were so happy. And the kids were pooped. After we got 30 minutes in the party room which was pretty big. The staff was super helpful and served all of the guests. There bathrooms were super clean. Highly recommend!
