This is an amazing shop David has been nothing less than amazing he has taken great care of me and I feel more like a friend than a customer.
Long story short I had an ATS transmission that had failed and David has gone the extra mile to build me a transmission that is built to last. He has also been very honest about parts and quality which gives me assurance that I won’t have problems as well as going the extra mile and delivering my truck to a diesel shop to further tune the truck to ensure I get full performance out of my truck and transmission

they finished the transmission repair on my vehicle, and took care of a bunch of other problems as a bonus with no extra charge. there was a minor issue that occured after i drove away that had nothing to do with the repair they had done. (the car is a lemon haha). so i drove back and asked for help and i couldn't believe how attentitive and considerate they were. David dropped everything he was doing to help me get back on the road with the utmost dedication, working through his lunch break. Turned out i had a faulty airflow sensor which he replaced for free in as little as 20 minutes. I am back on the road and honestly my car has never driven better. David told me to call him if i had anymore issues with a genuine concern and he really cared about how the car was running. He and the rest of the crew are very passionate about what they do and the outstanding quality of their work is something they take pride in.

Exceeded my expectations.Honest, knowledgeable, and friendly mechanics. I have a 1972 Blazer and consider myself lucky to have found HP Transmission. Originally contacted them to rebuild my 700R4 transmission but wound up having a lot of other work done that up until now, never found anyone I felt comfortable letting work on my truck. This is a family business that the father started over 30 years ago, his son's work there now along with many other fine mechanics. While my truck was being serviced, I was kept up to date and it was ready when promised.

Where can I start, the short answer is if you're debating, in a pickle, or looking at places to take your car bring it here, no questions no ifs or buts. David, his Father, his brothers gave me perhaps the best service ever especially considering the big project they undertook with my car. It's an older Chevy from 2004 a Monte Carlo SS, special to me it was my car in high school. It had developed some serious issues between power steering and me basically blowing up the transmission. I could not believe the efficiency of this place. If it wasn't for a hiccup along the way the transmission rebuild and all the extras I asked for while the car was taken apart (including radiator swap, full power steering replacement, upgraded sway bar install) would have been done in about 2 weeks. The hiccup wasn't even on them it was over a bad part I had bought! Even with that they STILL managed to wrap up the car in 3 weeks and that counts the extra time it took me to pick it up for work reasons. The peace of mind these guys have, the willingness to problem solve quick and show in depth what they are doing with your car great updates and feedback is why if I ever need to go to a transmission place these are the guys! Not only do these guys rebuild transmissions but they use oem parts and do upgrades! If they know or have seen potential faults on certain transmissions (such as mine) they look into what they can do to make it better, everything with the intention that the transmission lasts better than when the car was brand new! After about 2,000 miles of driving my car drives smooth as butter and I am so impressed, happy and pleased with my visit! Please support them for all your needs!

Our motorhome transmission went out and David and company were able to replace it with a rebuilt within three days. Also, they allowed us to stay in our motorhome and even plug in to their electricity. The quality of the work, so far, seems outstanding. The rig runs at lower RPMs and shifts much better. Thank you, David, Frank, and family for excellent work in a professional, compassionate manner.

I gave a positive review for this shop 2 years ago because I thought they honestly fixed the issues I was having with my car. They got it to pass the smog test 2 years ago and all seemed well. Took my car to get smogged again and found out that the instrument that turns on the check engine light have been purposely broken. Since it's not a simple bulb, I am going to have to pay a new shop to repair the instrument as CA will never allow a car to pass a smog test with a broken light. Really disappointed in this shop. I been driving around this whole time thinking they fixed the issues. If you had work done here my suggestion is to check your code with a code reader to make sure that this doesn't happen to you.

This family owned business is absolutely amazing. They put the customer first. David not only did a brilliant job with the installation of my transmission. He even went the extra mile of refusing to put the first one I bought in, as it wasn't good enough. Helping me get my money back and calling the place I bought the second one and getting them to pay me back a considerable amount of money after finding a flaw in that one. A flaw which he was able to repair and get me back on the road. Talk about integrity and pride of craftsmanship. H-P Transmission Center is #1 in my book.
