Terrible pricing, I saw old navy and target brands marked up to $8 and $9, I know goodwill has a reputation of doing this but figured since Salvation Army was closed today. I would give them a shot. I asked the employee who does the pricing and they weren't sure, another customer piped in "yeah they are charging retail for old navy brands... crazy." There was a jacket without a tag and blue items were on 1/2 off, I asked the cashier why they decided to give it a $12 price when it could have been a blue half off tag. The staff didn't have control and when I asked for the GM she was extremely defensive and stuck to her story that I am the only one that has something to say about this, and she prices all the shirts and coats the same. Instead of just marking the jacket which I saw a month ago still sitting for 1/2 off, she argued with me and said that's how they do it and caused a scene. Many customers were around and heard me telling her that target and old navy brands were priced retail, and they are second hand. Why not just apologize for my experience and recommend they will reevaluate their pricing? She was an African American woman working at noon on March 22nd, 2024 - maybe a district manager can retrain their GM on customer service and accurate pricing. I will never shop at goodwill again and will continue to support Salvation Army, who prices everything fairly for donation/second hand and gives back to the community. Shame on goodwill for trying to profit on donated items.

How is it OK for a thrift store to charge more than the original purchase price? I think I have to be done with Goodwill.

Called on Sunday at 12pm and asked if they were accepting donations today. Arrived at 12:30pm and was turned away. What's the purpose of me calling to make sure they are accepting donations to only be turned away. Now it goes in the garbage.

To whom it may concern:I am a repeat customer. Daily to over 20 Goodwill stores.salvation army and others. I spent over 500 to sometimes over thousands. Been going to this specific location for over 10 years.- Canyon Country, CAThis location especially has some few nice people. But the rest are mad and sad cases. I don't even know how they go about their Daily activities, work and lives.Kids, not trained right. Need improvement definitely. Managers don't say anything.Very unprofessional staff. Emily on the Register omg customers waiting she is arguing over a 15%coupon which is nice to give to someone. She wouldn't let a student use the coupon I was giving to. And she is rude to me every time I'm in store. Please train your employees Goodwill. These people are there to collect the paycheck. They don't care if the customers are happy or unhappyIt's sad that I have to comment ?. Like this.Hope to see some improvement ?.

Beyond Horrible the experience was awful I live in Lancaster and the Managers are very mean so we drove to this location only to find the worse of the worse I came with items I had purchased from Lancaster and was told I could exchange them any goodwill store so I brought them here and what a awful experience the Manager said she was not going to exchange as the items were not on the receipt I told her I had just bought them the week before and I know they are on it she told me to find it ,Which I did than she added the amount instead of deducting it and it was a argument that was awful ,I finaly was able to explain the whole thing to another manager who was not happy helping me at all she even said lets get this done so we can get you out of here ,and not in a nice way , I wrote the district manager and got no response ,I will tell everyone to shop at Uptown Cheapskate as they have wonderful prices and the best customer service ,Coming here and the ones in Lancaster is a great place to come if you want to be abused and leave feeling like you are a liar awful person ,Shame on the attitude they show to the consumer and The manager said she was having a bad day ,I suggest maybe being kinder even when she opened the store she acted angry no good morning welcome to goodwill ,no one announced the specials it was a angry environment the moment you walked in , I feel that they never want me back so I will never go to any goodwill again its funny they are suppose to be a charity helping people I am obvious disabled and the way they treat me was disgusting , They say they get yelled at alot well if you put out a ugly negative attitude people are going to respond to that ,A simple welcome and a smile goes further than they will ever know .This is my opinion and I truly Hope that manager gets what ever is bothering her resolved and if she is unhappy I hope she finds something she is happy doing I was in customer service all my Life I know we all have bad days but we have to smile and get through it and not take it out on others ,I had truly apologized to her numerous times but she was so annoyed by the mistake she made she only saw me as a monster and treated me as such .

Tried the location on Bouquet Canyon. They stop accepting donations shortly after they open at 9am. Good luck donating there. So I rang this location. Leon was so kind and helpful on the phone and when I went to drop off items. He definitely has the giving spirit. We love you Leon. Keep up the great and friendly work!

Worst people that work here. Everyone is so very rude. Also the manager yells at everyone across the store at the workers. Worst store I have ever been to in my life. If I could give no stars I would. So...... unbelievable. This store is crazy!!! Don't go visit this store. Find another goodwill to go to. People need to help one another Not put each other down. I'm just so amazed at what is going on here!!!!!!!

I love all of the silly ceramic things they have, but since the rise in thrifting, the prices have been severely marked up :( I remember seeing a vest with a price tag of 3$ from a different thrift store being marked up to 8$ here

Very clean. Well organized. Had decent amount of staff. We’re still signing up for Covid restrictions on dressing rooms.

Usual buyer...don't know what's going on but...I came in today ready to be a thrifting superstar. Walked in to my store and came into a toaster. Climate change got nothing on the inside of this place... it's been a couple times but I cannot handle this heat. Especially in a store- I've asked an employee what's the issue and they cannot change temp:( I unfortunately won't come here anymore

I just wanted to take this time to recognize a specific employee for his amazing customer service, Jaime. He was extremely kind and helpful during our visit, and went above and beyond to help us. We wanted to guy him a cup of coffee as a thank you, but he graciously declined and said that this is just who he is.

Well organized & clean store. Be forwarned that they've permanently closed all their fitting rooms so it's a gamble to know if anything fits.
