Mr. Jay from Jewelry was AWESOME! My wife & I were just browsing diamond rings but due to Mr. Jay's exemplary knowledge of diamonds & recommendations, as well as outstanding customer service, we decided to purchase my wife's ideal diamond ring she has been yearning all these years. I strongly recommend Mr. Jay if you're interested in jewelry from this Macy's store.

Christine E was the nicest and most patient salesperson that I have dealt with in a long time. I was buying suits and couldn't find a particular suit jacket. I had given up since we searched for the correct size and color and let Christine know. She went out of her way and searched until she found one. I had given up hope and was checking out, purchasing two other suits, when she came up and handed me the jacket at the checkout counter. Macy's should be grateful they have an employee who is willing to go above and beyond for the customer.

I was shocked when I went in a month ago. There was so much clothing laying on the ground in the clearance area it was nearly impossible to shop without stepping on clothing. I have been in thrift stores that keep their merchandise in better condition and their stores cleaner. I bet well see the Macy's chain closing, along with the mess their prices were outrageous.

We needed to buy some furniture, looked online but we decided to go order it in the store because we had some questions and we also wanted to check the mattress, etc However, there was no sales person in the furniture department. We asked for someone, we waited and after a while a lady came to say she id sorry but they don't have anyone who works there. We were going to spend a few thousands but we couldn't as there was nobody to take our order.

No one answers the phone, not even the computer Automated operator. Just rings endlessly, I don't even get the prompts. No wonder Macys is in trouble. Wow. Such great customer service.

I just shake my head in disbelief of the great reviews the previous 2 people gave. I've been calling the Valencia store for the last 4 days, 15-20 times total, at different times. I received a nice expensive watch as a gift and wanted to see if they can adjust the band (stainless steel) since too big (I don't have a tool thin enough to fit). Computer answers, you punch in the department, wait in silence for 4 - 5 minutes then computer says "nobody is available to answer the call", try another dept or call back later. Come on, 4 days. 20 calls and never spoke to anyone. I wanted to avoid the 20 minute drive if they cannot do it. Will probably take it to a quick fix watch repair and pay them to do it. Very poor customer service, but i guess in reality it wasn't poor if they don't even acknowledge your inquiry???

Back again!...Happy employees, happy customers. When it comes to providing stellar customer service at Macys please take a visit over at Bobbi Browns cosmetic department and stroll over and into to the fragrance department I would like to give recognition once again to Sydney counter manager from Bobbi Brown! and Emily fragrance and cosmetic sales specialist! Here's the scoop on these two fantastic employees:They both exhibit the ability to connect to the customer naturally like getting the feel as to what it is we are needing. When it comes to understanding they are really good at focusing on our needs.as The best thing about seeing the both of them together is that they work great together. And as a request to review my items as a whole they actually provide honest feedback, whilst making the customer (me)feel like a top priority. Great Work to Sydney and Emily you both were able to meet my needs effectively! Super proud to have met with the both of you again! Customer service like yours is priceless! I will definitely be back! Upper Manage please recognize these employees mentioned because they go above and beyond the call of duty! this is what keeps your customer base as well as positively recommending others. Thanks again Sydney and Emily! You girls are the best!

Macys used to be name associated with class, nice clothes and good service. All of the brands are mixed together looking the "go back rack" in the dressing room. You couldn't find a specific clothing brand, you had to walk the whole store to each rack. All of the racks looked like clearance or racks you would find at Burlington, Tj Maxx or Ross. I would have bought more, that was my goal but after almost 2 hours, I walked out spending $30. Looks like online again is the only way to shop.

This may be one of the worst Macy's I've ever been to. The whole thing is like a bargain basement. The racks are a complete mess and it's impossible to find anything. Everything about it just seems really sad.

I am giving one star but would rather give them no stars. Yesterday I called Macy's in Santa Clarita to ask them if they still sold suits. With gas prices soaring I would rather save the gas money and not drive there if they don't have suits. I called the number and selected 3 for Men's Fashion. A lady answered and said we reached Home Decor so we asked to be transferred to the Men's department. She said she didn't know the extension and we should call back. We called back, again selected 3 for Men's fashion as instructed by their incredibly long phone system and once again we get Home Decor. The lady answered again and this time took our phone number to have the Men's department call us back. Over an hour goes by so we try to call again. I selected every option they offer to speak to a department just so I could just know do they sell men's suits. No one answers the phone. The system puts you on a silent wait and at the five minute mark is just drops the call. Frustrated I thought to call the Customer Service phone call that I found online. 14 minute wait and they don't know if that location sells suits but give me an alternate number to call that should get a live person who I can talk to. I call the direct number and the number is no longer in service. I then call back the store and use the prompts to speak to the Store Manager, no one answers the phone. No one. An hour and a half later the Men's Department calls back and yes they do sell suits. I left my house and drive to the Men's Warehouse and spent almost $1,000 on a suit for my husband. I won't ever shop at Macy's again. They have no customer service at all. When I talked to the person on the phone she told me that they are struggling and she won't make excuses for their bad service, she was well aware of it. I told her to find a new job with a company that doesn't put their employees in these situations. I have shopped at Macy's for decades but this was the last of a long string of bad service so for me, I won't be back.

This store constantly disappoints me. I don't know why I bother. Oh..maybe it's because there is not much choice in SCV! The clothes are fine if you are 16 years old. Next to nothing for petites. The racks are a mess. It feels more like Ross. The shoe department is a joke. Gone are the days of walking out with several pairs of shoes. I did not even see a pair I wanted to try on! That says a lot!

Very poor customer service skills, the sales associate was very rude, and condescending should not be working there if that is how he deals with customers. Lost a long-time customer by the service I was given. He said his name was Nathan or Nathaniel. He needs to be retrained or not working with the public because his attitude is horrible and unacceptable. Management needs to step in at this point and correct him.

I can usually find what I'm looking for and the sales are very much worth the trip into the store as well as online. Downside is the limited amount of salespeople on the floor.

I was waiting at the jewelry counter for a half an hour to buy a purchase of over $100. There was one person in all of the jewelry stations and she was helping someone so I kept waiting patiently. Then another associate checked someone else out from jewelry and use the register I was at. When she was finished she looked at me a few times and then walked away and went somewhere else and didn't even ask me if I needed help. I decided I didn't need to spend $100 that bad and walked out. Every single time I go to Macy's it's like a ghost town and half the time, there's an attitude problem. Macy's used to be my go-to, now I only go if desperate.
