Mike was amazing! Very knowledgeable about working with my insurance and what needed to be done to fix my car. The body work was done quickly and my car now looks perfect. He went above and beyond and was able to make a stressful situation manageable. I highly recommed! Thank you Mike!!

I normally don't write reviews but Mike deserves a really bad review and 0 customers. Please do not go to this shop! I regretted it almost instantly and went through a hellish experience where I felt like my car was being held hostage. To explain a little, Mike is one of those guys in the body shop industry that only wants to make money. He seems kind and like a people guy on the outside, like the reviews here say, but don't be fooled!My car was at his shop for about 2-3 weeks! Should never have been there for that long to fix a bumper. I was rear-ended and later took my car to his shop and he took all the money he possibly could from the insurance company and wanted more from me afterwards. My dad was there to come and tell him off about it which he took as "completely disrespectful" and viewed both me and my dad as trying to "skimp" him. That was his vocabulary. I wasn't there to only get my bumper fixed though. From the day I brought in my car, I showed him how I needed a new fenderliner on my front right side and he told me he could also use the paint from my new rear bumper to paint some damages to my front from another incident. Mike said that "he forgot" because "he got excited" and charged me almost $3,000 for only a bumper! What a rip off! I was robbed right in front of my eyes! Another thing I need to mention, he told my dad and I very clearly that he was going to call me to confirm before he would start the job. He never did and started the work. When confronted, he got into a yelling match with my dad telling my dad that he did call and I said "Okay." If you ask him, he'll say that I'm lying. (It was around this time that I felt like my car was being held hostage).There are many other details to mention about this horrific transaction but Mike and his shop really gave me the creeps and made me feel an insane amount of anxiety which is not what's needed after a car accident. If I could, I would rate him 0 stars. Did he get the job done? Only partially. What he did, he did well thank God but I was still very disappointed that he didn't do the full job and expected me to pay all the money that the insurance gave me, down to very last cent. 2-3 weeks passed and it was a huge inconvenience since I needed to find a job but I didn't have a car or any way of transportation the whole time. Also, I couldn't even go visit my fiancée which was really difficult for the both of us to go through. I feel like this is worth mentioning if you believe you have things to do in your life and need transportation. In conclusion, run as far away from this shop as you can! I'm never coming here ever again! Don't give him your business please, I beg you!

This was the best autobody repair experience I have ever had. Mike was efficient, thorough, did an excellent job and completed the work for a very reasonable price. He deserves a 10 star review! Thanks, Mike!

I cant thank Mike enough for always being there when we've needed his help! He has had to care for 2 of our cars after an accident and a friends car. He will accept nothing short of perfection when he fixes body and all parts needed are top notch!! 1000% the place to go!!

I took my 2016 bmw 228i in last week to get a new windshield and a new side panel from an accident years ago. I was told the car would be ready in one week and it was. The windshield they installed is great quality and the side panel matched perfectly. I'm incredibly happy with their work! They did great.

I would recommend everyone to Mike and his team. They’re on it. Great customer service. Great work. My SUV was fixed to 100% fast. If you’re looking for a body shop you can trust, definitely call the Car-O-Practor in Santa Clarita.

I just stopped in to see about making an appointment to have my bent drivers door put back into alignment. The gentleman at the counter, who I believe to be the proprietor, came out to my car and fixed it on the spot. I am referring the business here, and will do so to my friends and neighbors as well. Granted, for a major repair I suggest getting multiple quotes, but I can't imagine that the Car-O-Practor won't be in the running.

After 10 years of doing business and referring business here I have nothing but positive things to say. Mike's professionalism and customer service is in a league of it's own. I wouldn't recommend any other shop in town.

I've dealt with Michael at the Car-O-Practor for many years, his knowledge and quality of work is second to none in the industry. They are affordable and do quality work. I typically don't write reviews nor did they ask me to write one they just simply earned it. Recently my Son had an accident and the car was damaged in the front and the rear so it was a lot of work. This is the 5th or 6th time I've had work done at this shop over the last 20 years. I picked up the car yesterday and it's beautiful, honestly looks and drives better now than it did before the accident. He was very thoughtful and walked me through the entire repair process (after hours) he stayed late to let me pick up the car. This all while parts are next to impossible to come by due to COVID. He also asked that we drive the car for a week or so and report back anything that isn't just as it should be. In my humble option this was above and beyond the call of duty. You will be hard pressed to find another body shop that does this kind of work and values customer service at this level. Service like this is VERY hard to come by in this day and age so I wanted to give a very big thank you to Michael and the whole team at Car-O-Practor. You make what is a very difficult process as painless and stress free as it can be and I am very grateful.

I've lived in Santa Clarita for nearly 20 years now and had the good fortune of finding my auto mechanic, Henry Rios of SCV Import and Domestic about 15 years ago. His work is 5-Star (and he's honest!). So, naturally - when my car was hit and I needed a recommendation for an auto repair shop in town, I called Henry. He immediately referred me to Mike at Car O Practor. Mike's work is impeccable and he seamlessly dealt with the other party's insurance company to negotiate the difference in payment that they provided to me and what the actual cost of repairs would be (it wasn't a terribly large amount because Mike...just like Henry...does everything with integrity and wasn't trying to make a fast buck). Before I picked up my car he offered to provide me with a coupon to a local car wash because he said he didn't have time to clean it to his standards. When I arrived to get my car it was gleaming...absolutely beautiful! No need to stop by the car wash place. And, he was nice enough to install a replacement front logo emblem I purchased at Frontier Toyota for no charge (mine had been dislodged by a flying object while driving in high winds). So, the takeaway is simply this...if your car needs auto body repairs don't even bother with other local businesses. Caropractor will return it to pristine condition by providing an honest estimate backed up by quality repairs.

Mike is the best. I've been in Santa Clarita for 32 years. I've personally used Mike 3 times. I've sent family members, friends to Car-o-practor and all where thrilled with the excellent work done. No having to take the car back 2 or 3 times to get things right like so many other auto body shops in Santa Clarita. Mike is so knowledgeable about everything. Your car, your insurance. He does everything possible to make your stress as little as possible. Glad to call him my friend.

I chose this company after visiting 3 other companies. Car O Practor happened to be the lowest bid but I wasn't paying for this repair, the person who hit me paid for it. The owner just seemed the Most honest to me and explained the repair so it made sense. Two of the other companies that bid the job weren't honest about how the job was going to be done and were charging more as a result. Even the company my insurance company recommended said the same thing and in fact told me something would go wrong with my job unless they did it a certain way. I went back to Car O Practor to discuss what the last company to bid the job said. The owner of Car O Practor came back out to look at what I was saying and told me my car would be fine. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday and my car was fixed by Friday just like I was told and the job is BEAUTIFUL. Upon leaving, I was given a warranty envelope as well and tips on how to shine up the black trim on my car. I highly recommend Car O Practor. They are honest, beyond fair on their pricing, professional and do a great job.
