Update. 4/7/23 Richard sent me a text today to make sure everything was ok with my car. What great customer service!! I'm from out of town and needed an oil change. They were very accommodating and fit me in. Gave my car a once over and told me to give the paperwork to me mechanic back home. No hard sell, just took good care of my car.

Probably the most honest and reliable mechanic I've ever done business with. He's worked on all of our vehicles. Antique and modern. He's thorough, and if the service can wait (brakes, etc.), he will let you know. All staff members are friendly and easy going. I recommend G&M to all SCV friends looking for a good mechanic. He's easy to work with and he has a quick turn around when you bring your car in for repairs. The cost for repairs are honest and fair as well. Happy to have found G&M through a recommendation.

On the afternoon of December 23rd, I was on the 405 heading into The Valley from the top of Sepulveda Pass. As I braked to reduce my speed on the downgrade, I heard a loud grinding noise and felt a vibration in the steering wheel. I immediately called G & M, explained what I was experiencing to Richard, and he said bring the car in. Oh sorry, Richard runs the joint. Keep in mind that this was 2 days before Christmas, and the shop was closing in a couple of hours. Always smiling, upbeat, and professional, Richard greeted me when I got there and pulled the car into one of the service bays. Fernando, one of the very experienced, talented service technicians, diagnosed that the rotors were the problem. While I waited, he machined the rotors to perfection. As I drove home, the brakes worked great! Most recently, this past Thursday I noticed that my right front headlight was out. I called and asked Richard if I could bring the car in Friday (yesterday) morning to replace it. He energetically said, "Of course! I open at 8." I got there just as the doors were rolling up. Again, with an enthusiastic hello, Richard and I chatted briefly about the fact we both love our Toyotas --I have a Prius V, and Richard with a Prius C. We agreed we'll probably keep our cars forever. Shortly thereafter, Toti (another very experienced, talented service technician) headed to my car and replaced the headlight lamp. I was in and out in 12 minutes! If you live in the Santa Clarita Valley...wait, let me change that...If you live in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, this is the shop to bring your car for service. With good prices and skilled, friendly, honest people, why would you go anywhere else?

Sent a message for a quote for headlight replacement and received a message from John the owner in 10 minutes with a reasonable price. Came in the next day and was helped by Brad and pricing stayed consistent ($50 for 2007 Honda Civic). He got both headlights replaced in less than 20 minutes and had me out the door 30 minutes from the moment I walked in. Super helpful guy and easy to ask questions and I already have a full service oil change scheduled for next week. As a woman, auto shops can be intimidating but I felt very at ease and felt like no question was a dumb one. Thanks everyone!

My husband brought in his jeep because it was over heating and the diagnosis was a cracked radiator which was fixed for $1222. The car was taken in on Friday and done by Wednesday. On Thursday my husband took the car to work and the car began to over heat again so he brought it back. A block test was then done which led to the two possibilities of a busted head gasket or water in the cylinders which is around $4000 to fix. The car is not worth fixing at this point but I wish that the proper tests to determine why the radiator even cracked in the first place would've been done beforehand before we were out $1222 and then we could've said it's okay we will have to just get rid of the car. Friendly service and I went back here because of how great they were the first time around but I can no longer recommend G&M anymore. That isn't right.

My fiancé's check engine light came on, so I took it into G & M for a diagnostics. Their customer service was great, very friendly and accommodating. Richard was good to talk to. I needed to leave the car there to have it checked, but a couple hours later I got a call from Richard explaining the issue which wasn't to bad. Towards the end of the business day, we went to pick up the car, again Richard being real friendly and letting us know the situation with the car. We definitely appreciated him going the extra mile to explain everything. I would go back to G & M for car service and recommend them.

Richard was GREAT to work with on a pre-purchase inspection! He gave me detailed notes, flagged issues, etc. He was a pleasure to deal with as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The online reservation system needs to get a little more data from the guest when the guest makes the appointment (VIN, tag, etc) to allow the Customer Service team to get the details ready when the vehicle is brought in. Once again, the maintenance and front desk team are flawless in their care and performance of their duties!! Thanks G&M Auto - see you when we get back from Orlando, FL.

I cannot express enough how important communication is when it comes to providing clear, concise, and reassuring information and that is exactly what April and Richard provided! I live about 160 miles north of Valencia and when my drive shaft began to fail, G&M made me feel safe and secure with the work they would be providing and with leaving my vehicle. Picking up my car and driving home through the grapevine was nerve wrecking at first but the car never faltered. I am very thrilled and extremely pleased with G&M Auto!
