Shy diagnosed the noise (clicking /clunking when reversing) & offered 2 options on my Toyota 4Runner. I chose to replace the driveshaft since the vehicle has high mileage & I rather replace it with a newer part to prevent further issues. He ordered the Toyota OEM part & his team replaced it quickly. I was expecting to wait for at least 3 hours, but I was surprised it took less than an hour. I appreciate his honesty & fairness. Thank you, Ace Automotive, for excellent work & fair price.

Not only where their prices great compared to other shops but they did not try to up sell or do repairs that weren't needed at the moment. They were honest people which is not easy to find, I would definitely bring my car there every time!

AAA certified for good reason. Honest and knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Almost gave up hope on finding an honest mechanic in SCV until we found Ace through AAA. They can be busy but I'd rather wait than go to a shop that scams me or doesn't know what they're doing. I trust them with my precious little old manual ?.

Ace Automotive is very reliable and reasonable prices. Since we lost our regular mechanic of over 10 years, it was hard for us to find a place that we could trust, this will definitely be our go to place for our vehicle services.

Sent a message on Sunday that I was going out of town and needed my brakes done ASAP. Responded within 30 minutes and said that I could bring it in on Monday morning and they would find a way to make sure they were done. Dropped off my car at 8am and it was done by noon. Everyone that I talked to at ACE was very pleasant and professional. ACE is where I will bring my vehicles for any service. By and far the best experience I've had with an auto shop. Thank you!!

Had a great experience with these guys. I took my car in cause it had an engine light on. They were able to hook it up to the machines and see the code issues. They were able to get it fixed very quickly. I was in and out of there. I thought they were very professional and reliable. I didn't feel like I was being upsold on any other services and I thought they charged a fair price. I would go back for other automotive needs.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Looked up a bunch of places to see who can accommodate the services I needed. Found Ace fairly quickly. Shy was very friendly and courteous on the call. Helped me set up an appointment rather quickly. Once I got there, they got to work on the car almost immediately. Once done, they told me that they had found a leak. They showed it to me and told me it's superficial and not tonworry about it. They could have easily made it seem like a huge deal and charge me $$$. Instead, Shy went the honest route and made a customer for life. Highly recommended. Thank you Shy.

Ace Automotive: The Honest Mechanic Who Saved My Son a Month's RentMy son took his 2011 Prius to the dealer for a routine oil change, and he was told he needed $$$ repairs that almost exceeded the value of the car. We were shocked and dismayed. My son is a college student on a tight budget, and we couldn't afford to spend that much money on repairs.We decided to get a second opinion from Ace Automotive, an AAA-approved auto repair shop. We were so glad we did! Shy, the owner of Ace, inspected the vehicle in 30 minutes and explained to us what was really needed. He recommended some repairs, but the cost was much lower than what the dealer had quoted us. And to top it all off, he didn't charge us for the inspection!We were so impressed with Shy's honesty and professionalism. He saved my son a month's rent and food money, which is a huge deal to our family. We will only be taking our cars to Ace Automotive from now on.If you're looking for an honest and reliable mechanic, I highly recommend Ace Automotive.
