There's no Mexican store with lots of good stuff on this little corner store. Is close , good prices, good products and costumer service all the time I buy something every single one in the store is very nice people , always thank you for coming. The only little problem is the parking , since is share with laundry and liquor store, it get pack fast, other than that everything is prefect. I recommend this store 100%

This tiny neighborhood market is on the corner of Dela Cruz and Monroe in Santa Clara, across from 7-11 ora national gas station (I can't remember the station name) It has a few short aisles with a butcher section with ppl behind the glass display case and a glass cheese display adjacent along with a back of the store "financial" window to handle money transfers, phone cards, money orders and maybe check cashing or similar.Staff was not so friendly. I got the attention, asked a question and then ignored. WTH ! It seemed like they service those who speak Spanish, imho. I wanted to check out but don't think I'll return.

Small local carniceria I frequent- best seasoned and freshest carne asada, good prices on oxtail, butcher is a real butcher who will cut meat like my beef shortribs for smoking, and the chicken al pastor is honestly excellent. It makes the home smell WONDERFUL and sorta tastes like mexican bfast chorizo seasoning but it's chicken. Their marinated meats are the best I've purchased from any carniceria.

This is my go to place when I'm going to cook at home. Anything that you need. My favorite would be the carneceria just because everything is high quality. All of the vegetables are usually pretty fresh as well. I have been very pleased since they opened this location a couple of years ago.

We went to the Earthquakes game at Avaya Stadium today and decided to order from the truck that boasted "best burritos/Mexican food" all over it. After the first bite, we realized that we didn't magically stumble upon the best Burritos. Also the burritos are a bit smaller because they use most of the flour tortilla as filling, LOL. The flavor was okay but mostly rice.

It's close to my house so that's good but is too small and customer service sucks and parking is a nightmare

This is my favorite Mexican grocery in town. If you're going to splurge, this is the place to do it. The service is prompt but gruff, though I'd argue the part of the rustic Mexican grocery store feel.

This store be opened like 2 year ago, u know how business are when they just open a new location all good and then little by little wetting bad. So I be buying stuff here cuz it's super close to my home so well I'm lazy to go somewhere else; so they always full of customers cuz I'm no the only lazy around lol an the store always have short staff and some of them are rude that it's no big deal so one day my mom go to get some stuff so she pay with card and of course the cashier ask if they want money back an she said yes and get $40 so after that she go to the gas station cross street and tray to pay with the cash she get from Arteagas the she found out 1 of the bills was fake!!!!! Can you believe it? So sure she come back and complaining about, the cashier get all crazy and yelling at my mom so then the manager come out and ask what happens and my mom get the real 20 back so she told me that at night so of course I get crazy and ready to kick some a** but she stopped me so after that day I check all the changes they give to me. So they also have western union service, I be sending money many times and yes it's like 1hr line all the time, so today I try's to send money to my love and the have to cashiers for that when was my turn I told the @&$@& I like to send money to Mexico and they start play stupid for 10 minuets on that time the cashier on the side help 2 other guys after that the stupid on front of me said sorry my system it's down, so that it's funny cuz the other guy have 0 problems with anyway so I have to wait for the other guy then the first cashier said now it's all good so I give my name to them I told them how's pick the money up and how much I like to send; and they said u can't not send that amount, layers I send that amount before on the same location, well I ask for the maximum amount then I told I like the money be pick up in elecktra ( all the time I send to there) and the cashier said sorry but they don't do that amount also. so avoid this store, they prices are super high anyway

We love going to this market for there pan, I say it got better over the years. Thank god I found a bakery near our house, instead of driving all the way to pink elephant. And there's is way way better then pink elephant. They also have great selection of meat and fresh fruits and vegetables. And workers there are always nice. My go to Mercado :)

This is my go to neighborhood store for any last minute groceries and to get some good cuts of meat, poultry and fish. They have fresh cheese, salsas and picos that I always buy to make nachos. There is a good selection of fresh produce at a reasonable rate. They have some bakery stuff as well out of which I have tried the bread which is nice. All in all, even if its a small store, it has most things one would need. The staff is good and helpful.

I love this cute little market. It sits across the street from a 7/11 but I would definitely go to Artegas instead. Always clean, the staff is helpful and kind. The guacamole is house made and delicious. They have a good selection of salsas and cheeses. All around, good stuff. So happy they opened in our neighborhood.

I live in Santa Clara, walking distance from this Arteaga's location. My family and I always shopped the location in San Jose; when we heard this location was opening we were extatic, "we thought no more driving to San Jose" we gave it a try And we we're pleased until we noticed a new butcher who refuses to use gloves while handling meat to cheese to chicharrones. This has been several times already. Ofcourse I brought it up to management's attention and was addressed in front of me as "this customer is saying you didn't wear gloves" I dint appreciate being put on the spot like; I find this behavior unprofessional. I kept addressing the issue and no change. My family and I do not shop this location anymore. It's unsanitary to handle raw meats and cheese by only wiping hand on apron. Frankly that's just gross.
