At first I gave this place higher ratings as the husband is really nice...I got a screen protector that should have been tempered glass but it turned out to be just a cheap glass and it started breaking up and the cracks are getting bigger and longer to the point where I lost some of my phone functions and forget about finger print to get into some secured applications.. Also, moisture is getting under the broken screen so I have to keep drying it...I called and was told by the wife "there is nothing we can do for you...When she was placing the screen she had to do it 3 times because of the loss of sensation of the screen.I think she used an old screen she had on hand.Not reliable and take no responsibility over what she sells!Not cool!Now I have to find someone to fix my poor broken screen!!

I like the owners.I also like to support small business. After all we need to help our California grow again.I ordered a new phone screen but I was the one who got busy still when I was back, I got same smiles.Turned out, the manufacturing company sent a defected screen (there was glue on the thumb ID).They ordered another one with no problem.I'm getting ready to go again hope it will be all good.Give them a try. I took one star off because owners are not at the store so make sure to make an appointment so you don't waist your time.

I never have experienced a bad dealing with the owne r opperators. They always went above and beyond to insure lwas happy . I most definitely recommend everyone to go see them for their computer or tech needs

Vinny Vihn is the man! He helped micro solder a resistor (dt317) back onto my Volca Beats so 9 -12 leds would light up again. Korg...I recommend purchasing from Vila Computers used inventory to save money, not everyone knows but they also have retro games in stock too. Most of all if you tinker like me and dont have the time tools or talent, bring your projects repairs and business here.

I bought a new laptop at big-box store and the enter key was not working correctly. I did not want the hassle of returning the laptop as I already loaded a lot of stuff on it. I also did want to avoid having to ship it to get it fixed under warranty. I was recommend by friends to go to Vila. They fixed it on the same day that I took it for a reasonable cost.

My parents had Vila Computers install Lorex cameras back in 2016 and then later my cousin had some installed by them as well. Fast forward to last week after buying new Lorex cameras from Costco, I called on a Thursday and was able to get Vinh to come out to Fremont the same day to look at the house and cameras and suggest placement with my fiance. Got a quote via phone call the next morning Friday which was the best after shopping around and asking 2 other companies I found on Yelp. Confirmed in the afternoon to move forward with Vila that he and his team were able to start the next day on Saturday. Vinh and his team of 2 others were able to remove 4 old cameras, install 9 news cameras, and route everything including our coax internet cables into the attic in 8 hrs. Very impressed with their responsiveness, quickness, and quality of work. Would definitely recommend!

My laptop suddenly died, no lights, no any signs. I brought it to Vila Computer. Because I'm in period of final exams, he helped me check right away. Around 45 mins or an hour he gave it back to me and asked me check, it gets up and works . He saved my laptop and me . Thank you!!!

Bad service can't do a new install of a simple operating system after 2days and wants more time it took me 5min at Hewett packerd web site for the missing drivers just went there to get a copy of win 7 ultimate. They installed win 7 pro

Terrible service and loss of time and money. I took two laptops for repair to Vila Computers. Below is what happened with one of them. A separate report on the second comupter is also entered. The Hard Drive of my HP laptop died. I got an SSD to replace the HD and took it them for installing a legitimate Win 10 operating system. Vin, the owner/manager asked for advance payment to install the OS, which I paid. However, the version they installed worked only for a week and then multiple issues showed up, the main one: "need to activate" Windows. The OS would not update, and Windows Defender showed a bug. I took the laptop back, and they supposedly re-installed Win 10. But it showed the same problem again. After at least 4-5 returns and spending a lot of time in the store and on the phone with Vila Computers, I had to take the laptop to another computer repair shop. They charged me $100 to diagnose that the version of Win 10 Vila Computers installed was a fake one . Then I had to pay $150 more for a genuine Win 10 installation. This is after losing more than 4 months access to a working computer in addition to $150 that I paid Vila Computers, and the countless hours talking to them on the phone (when the other party didn't speak understandable English) and taking the laptop back and forth to their store. Vila Computers' owner/manager, Vin, doesn't speak English that well and even that is with thick accent and I was never sure if he understood what I told him. Don't fall for a lower initial quote they may give you. You will regret taking your business to them.
