I went in for a digital perm with Christine, she was very professional, and all workers seemed friendly. She suggested a trim before the perm. It was a long process, and expensive ($230 with coupon!) but it turned out beautiful! Christine told me to only brush with my fingers and not wash it for 2 days. However, by the 2nd day, the hair on top was almost completely straight and barely any curls on the bottom. She said it should last a few months?! I will call today and hopefully they will fix it.

My hair is really straight and hard to keep it curly after any regular perm. I usually have to get it done with digital Perm in Taiwan when visiting relatives. Super happy to find a salon offer digital Perm in Bay area! Christine is very professional and does an amazing job!!! Best of all, the cost of getting the digital Perm with Christine is very reasonable! I'm a super happy customer!

I visit Christine at least 2 times a year for my haircut and coloring. And I husband visits Christine to cut his hair every 2-3months too. This place is not bad at all. considering how expensive this silicon valley area gets nowadays, $20 men haircut and $25-$30 women haircut are much more appreciated than ridiculous $50 haircut "with special treatment shampoo and 20second styling" at the end. Christine's work is not EXTRAVAGANTLY up to date. However, she can moderately improvise or modify the style you may bring to her. I mean... that is what I do with my husband. It is most likely because both he and I failed to find the right hair style for several months until we had to ask Christine for HER opinion. She honestly told us what she thought about the styles we brought and she modified the style with our hair shapes. LoL ( let me tell you, my husband and I do not really practice good hair/fashion teachings well. We are just not the people to ask about Such things) Results are not bad. And things are improving and that is all I care. Haha One SUPER appreciative thing that I want to tell all the yelpers about Christine is: There is absolutely NO KOREAN LADY gossip with her, EVER. It is no joke how things can start up in Korean hair salons, and I feel so relaxed when I go see her because I do not worry about hearing STORIES. We just talk about food, hair and nothing more. No awkward silence either. Hahaha I occasionally end up getting some Argan oil bottles from her, and they work great.

I loved my haircut at Christine and intend to return. She does a very good job and offers a frequent customer card fof a free cut after 10 visits. She knows how to cut my hair and does it as well as all the previous beauticians that I have had. The shop is a two person operation but I think she does all the hair.

I love getting magic straight here. Christine does an excellent job!!! This was my second time getting it done and it lasts me about six months. I'll be back with my frizzy hair in another six months.

She cut my hair way too short. I only asked for a trim. She layered it so short to almost half it's original length in some parts and severely thinned it out. It will take me a very long time to grow my hair back.

I booked an appointment at a different salon which just burned down the night before, so I scrambled to find a salon as I was leaving the next day to go to my MIL's 60th birthday party in NJ. After quickly scanning the other Yelp reviews for salons in the area, I called her and she was able to take me within the hour, thankfully. The salon is very nice, clean, and sunny with a constant stream of clients coming through. Christine was very friendly and very accommodating but concerned for your happiness and satisfaction. I asked her to chop off my shoulder blade length hair to a shaved on the sides faux hawk. After a lengthy consultation, (she was very patient and helpful), she lopped off my hair in one swoop starting first at a bob and then going shorter and shorter. This process was very long but she never wavered in her patience and concern to make sure this was exactly what I wanted. After the cut, I wanted a color and when the color wasn't bright enough for me, she added more highlights until I was happy with the color. She purposely went slow with the color to make sure I would be ok with everything and I am so grateful for that. I felt completely comfortable at all times and she treated me like I was an old friend. The cut and color were a hit at my MIL's party, I am so grateful to have found Christine!

I get my haircut here regularly and never had a single problem. Christine is so nice and takes her time when cutting my hair, and I would definitely recommend this place to my friends whenever they need a snip :)

Christine is a very nice lady, but she cuts my hair way too short, I look terrible right now. I would never go there again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skills+Good Service! Christine was pretty gentle and efficient with curling my hair. I think this place is a bit expensive ($30ish for curls) BUT Christine knows what she's doing&overall I enjoyed my experience here.

This place is great. The cut was one of the best cuts I had in a while and I did not have to wait. It was worth the money. Although Leekaja (one of the worst salons in history; i hate that place with passion) lowered my standards, Christine Beauty Salon is a great place to get a cut. I am definitely coming back. :)

I got my haircut today and I should say Christine is awesome, very kind and professional. My hair is short and usually takes a lot of care and texturing. She was very careful with all the details while being very quick. She is a master in her job. I will definitely be back again. By the way, you will be surprised on how early you could make your appointment.

Ive had the same hair style since high school. now being almost thirty ive decided for a new more mature look. when i was brought into christines beauty salon by my sister i was skeptical and just stated i wanted something new and without any real help from me they gave me a really nice more distinguished look.
