This campus use to be great! Unfortunately lately the teachers are put under lot of pressure ! They are pushed to do everything. In 5th grade the Science teacher teaches Math, Science and History even !! to two classes. The quality of teaching as a result completely suffers. Teachers are not provided proper tools - like classrooms are substandard, Airconditioners are Old! Printers are always broken !!! School Head Mrs Tate does arrange a lot of events for the school however, she has not focused on the Teachers and Quality of education lately.As well, many of the new teachers are moms with no prior education or experience in teaching. They obtain some certification and then hired as teachers. This is a big issue.This school is a good Day Care ! Great for Pre-K and K as all the reviews reflect

Ms Rizwana is by far one of the most kind, caring, passionate, and thoughtful teachers that we have had. She cares about her students and makes a real difference in their lives.Our daughter loved her and sometimes wanted to go back to school on weekends just because of her. She also makes a good connection with parents and is open to suggestions and special requests. We had an amazing experience at Stratford, A4 class, thanks to Ms. Rizwana and Ms. Vicky.

I would definitely recommend this school because of our 1st grade teach: Ms. Matthews. I am not trying to review Ms. Matthews job as a first grade teacher, I am actually writing to thank her for all she did to all the 24 kids in the 2023 1st grade J2 class in Stratford School. My kid said:" I am so lucky to have been in Ms. Matthews class this year, she is the best teacher and I love her!" As a parent, we also felt fortunate to have Ms. Matthews as my son's 1st grade teacher. She is the only teacher I have seen who grades homework everyday, every morning she offers EQT to do extra learning/playing with the kids. She made all sorts of fun craft with the kids, tons of extra exercise, making them curious about history, science and even biology.

My son Benjamin recently completed his first-grade year at Stratford School, under the guidance of his exceptional teacher, Ms. Matthews. We were fortunate to have her as Benjamin's instructor this past academic year, and the progress he made under her wing, both academically and socially, is truly remarkable.Ms. Matthews is a veritable dynamo with a palpable passion for teaching that infectiously energizes her classroom. Her enthusiasm for instilling knowledge is eclipsed only by her dedication to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for her students. Her creativity shines through in the multitude of events she organizes, which have not only enhanced the learning process but also etched countless precious memories in Benjamin's young mind.Words fall short in expressing our gratitude for all that Ms. Kathy has done. It is testament to her outstanding teaching that Benjamin fervently hopes to have her as his second-grade teacher. In all, we recommend Stratford School highly, especially the stellar services of Ms. Matthews. Her devotion to teaching and the care she has shown to Benjamin have been instrumental in his development, and we look forward to seeing more of such admirable qualities in the future.

I recommend the school. My son has been attending preschool A5 classroom with Ms Asha and Ms Nandini for this year. They are really nice and caring and responsible.This is the first English school for my son who didn't understand any English at the beginning. He had a tough time adjusting to the new environment, and had been crying for almost 3 months. But Ms Asha and Ms Nandini are so patient with him, holding and comforting him. During those hard time, they are the only reason my son would want to go to school. They quickly spotted my son's weakness and working very hard to make him more defensive. Now my son is happy and energetic every day, his English and social skills improved greatly. We are so grateful to Ms Asha, Ms Nandini and all the teachers there.

We have toured almost 10 preschool for our kid. Finally we chose Stratford SCP because of its environment, clean classroom, rich facilities and the education philosophy.My son was assigned to A3 with Ms.Akhila and Ms.Pallavi to start his school journey. I was impressed that there was only a little cry in our classroom during the first couple weeks, but actually that would be the toughest period for the young kids. Then I realized the teachers could say some basic commands in different languages because some kids in the classroom could not speak English at the beginning. That definitely help a lot.The class organizes students to perform their favorite music show once a semester. Everyone dresses up and sing the songs. The beautiful voice of the children come out, which is the most precious thing, ever.Sometime my kid would tell me that he saw the fire truck in the school or a snake in the playground. Oh, they also learned how to avoid disaster drills in the earthquake just a few weeks before the earthquake.My kid is happy in his class. Usually sometimes only parents know what their kids are talking about because of various accents and habits. One day when I pick him up, I heard my son was yelling some words which I could not understand, with other kids. I asked the teacher, she smiled: "They are saying Ms.Akhila." At that moment, I can see the happiness through all their faces.

I cannot recommend Stratford School enough! My daughter has been attending Class room A3 for the past year and her teachers, Ms. Akhila and Ms. Pallavi, have been amazing every step of the way. They are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the well-being and growth of each child in their care.From day one, my daughter was greeted with smiles and encouragement. Ms. Akhila and Ms. Pallavi have created a safe and nurturing environment that fosters creativity, exploration, and a love of learning. They provide a wonderful mix of structured and unstructured activities that keep the kids engaged and excited to come to school each day.One thing that really stands out to me is how responsive the teachers are to parent concerns and questions. They are always willing to take the time to discuss our child's progress and offer suggestions for how we can support her learning at home.Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful preschool for my daughter at Stratford School. I have complete trust in Ms. Akhila and Ms. Pallavi and know that my daughter is in the best possible hands. Thank you for all that you do!

I can't say enough about Stratford! I took a tour with Michelle and she was so amazing and helpful and right after the first meeting I decided I will put my daughter in Stratford Pomeroy without even taking any other tour. They were so friendly and loving! Now come to my daughter pre K class B1 - Ms.Uma and Ms.Neelam! I have no words with how amazing they are , they have from day 1 been so hands on and the most amazing teachers anyone can ask for. My daughter knew nothing about writing , reading motor skills ! But they taught her everything from Sep to jan My daughter Can READ! I mean I was blown away I can't thank Ms. Uma and Ms. Neelam enough We all love you! pniksha loves her teachers and misses them when we are not in school. If your thinking where to put ur kids, Don't think! Stratford Pomeroy. And if you get pre k I hope Ms. Uma and Ms. Neelam are there first teacher . Thank you for being the best.

My twin daughters have been in Stratford Pomeroy since September 2021 when they were preschooler. Our experience has been always wonderful and I'm so glad that I made the choice! Now one of my twin girls is in pre-k classroom B1 with Ms. Aarthi and Ms. Daisy, who are super attentive, nurturing and responsible. My daughter used to be unconfident when it comes to trying new activities or learning new skills. Thanks to Ms. Aarthi and Ms. Daisy, I can clearly feel how she improved since attending B3, she's a very confident girl now! Nothing can express how grateful I am! Ms. Aarthi loves her students as much as her own children, and all children in B3 loves her as well. She communicates with parents on daily basis, she even invented personalized method to encourage my picky daughter to finish her lunch! The other girl is in B3 with Ms. Uma and Ms. Neelam. They are are very responsible, supportive and nurturing. They use well-prepared and effective teaching method, they make every child learn and thrive in a joyful and inspiring environment. I'm always surprised by how much new knowledge my child has learnt! They give parents feedback in a very timely manner. I'm always updated with my daughters new progress, interest, friends or needs.Their previous preschool classroom A5 was also amazing. Ms. Diana and Ms. Poornima really paved a strong foundation for my children's overall development and life-long learning habit.To summarize, the school and all the teachers here take children's development really seriously. We are so lucky to be here!

I seldom write reviews on yelp, but this time want to give a big shoutout for Mrs. Mathews. My little girl who's 6 years old now has been in Stratford Pomeroy for 2 years, now she's in J2 Mrs. Mathew's class, we really appreciate this teacher, she's awesome, not only for her academical knowledge background, teaching experience, but also for her dedicated caring and love for all these little kids, she's really looks these kids as her owns! She is also very organized, and train little kids that way as well. My daughter learns a lot from her, including get the good habit and be a good kind person, she loves her very very much. We strongly recommend Mrs. Mathews to our friends who has kids!

My Kids Join TK here. He loves school so much and we can see his improvement more than we expected on math, language especially on writing. Most important of all his so happy in school time.
