Safeway Pharmacy is a reliable and busy pharmacy with a very helpful, respectful, and professional staff. The knowledgeable team is always ready to fill prescriptions and answer questions, doing their best to take care of customer needs. They maintain wonderful smiles even when very busy. The staff is understanding and kind, often going above and beyond to help patients, including checking medication availability at other locations to expedite important orders. This is the sign of a thoughtful and caring healthcare professional. While filling a prescription takes time due to necessary protocols and many orders, it is comparable to other pharmacies. Customers can wait in the quite comfortable waiting room or shop for groceries. The pharmacy offers a variety of services including flu vaccinations, shingles shots, back-to-school vaccines, and Pfizer vaccine booster shots. Walk-ins for vaccines are welcome, though there could be a wait time without an appointment. They also provide safe drug disposal and can fill pet prescriptions. Safeway accepts most forms of insurance.
