I like coming to this particular location since it's close to where I live but the customer service here can be tricky. It's usually hit or miss. Today I was given a very poor attitude by the black woman working in self checkout. Mam if you hate your job just say that. Not my fault okay. Your attitude sucks pretty bad. Hopefully things get better for you & you quit picking on innocent customers being a jerk for no apparent reason.

Amazon lockers are conveniently located at this Safeway. It's hidden on the side closest to the donuts and bagels. With all the porch thefts happening in our neighborhoods, I think it's best to be on the safe side. Placed my order on Sunday and picked up my order here yesterday with no issues. Then, went grocery shopping right after. It's a win-win!

Horrible customer service Wednesday night from lady wearing a blue t shirt ( working self checkout) We wanted to pay half EBT & half cash but their system wasn't accepting our EBT for some reason We left . 2 mins later I came back to try to pay for it & she said someone took our bags and started putting it back on the shelf already . I then asked her to call them on the intercom and ask them to bring it back . She said "everything is probably already back on the self" SHE DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO HELP ME GET MY THINGS BACK 0 stars for this store from me for poor customer service . It's like they don't want to make sales .

Usually had what I need though a uniformity of gift cards sold would be nice. The other day I had to go to four different stores to purchase my Amazon and Taco Bell cards. Also it would be nice if the gas points could be used immediately Ive had to delay gassing up once as my Safeway pints while immediately rewarded on my receipt but when I went to gas up they weren't updated. With the high gas prices currently. The gas rewards Is a reason I patronize your stores!

Do not buy gift cards at this Safeway. They are all frauds. I purchase 2 and I cannot get my money back from Safeway. Been talking to customer service for 2 months now. When you purchase a gift card, they give you a little receipt and tell you that you're verification, but it's not. They want the full receipt f. Y. I. They got my money. But when it comes to returning it, they keep telling me they're looking into it. Do not buy your gift cards at this Safeway. Customer service sucks they are not for customers they are only for themselves. Treating me as if I'm the one doing the fraud. And I am out not once but twice. customer service does not work in a timely manner And make you feel like you're the criminal.

Imeldo employee is the RUDEST person you will ever meet! If you need or want to be disrespected please stop by Safeway Rivermark and just look for Imeldo she will not only be verbally disrespectful, she clearly doesn't enjoy people or like to do her job!

There are some great employees like Melina , Paul , and the cart guy John. Worst one is Theresa she always is in a bad mood. I've literally never seen her help someone nicely. Runner up for rude is that Filipino dude with glasses.

This isn't the first time that this has happened, so I'm taking the time to write a review. I'm disabled and ordered groceries for pickup. These are the pears they picked out for us. That's not good business.

I had intended to buy two buckets of the Five Dollar Friday fried chicken. However, when I approached the clerk, I was informed that there was a "Limit One" policy. Puzzled, I pointed to the flyer taped on the hot deli display and the cardboard sign printed by Safeway, both of which made no mention of any purchase limit.Persisting, I asked the clerk to show me where the limit was stated. He then referred the matter to his manager, insisting that the manager had conveyed the restriction to him.Requesting to speak to the manager directly, she confirmed the "Limit One" policy, explaining that there was high demand for the promotion. I understood the rationale but suggested that a sign be put up immediately, clearly stating the limit to avoid any confusion for other customers. She retorted that such action was unnecessary.My intention was not to acquire an additional bucket of chicken but to ensure that other customers were informed about the limit. The manager's demeanor seemed condescending, and it left me questioning how she had been promoted, given her poor customer service and management skills.After making my purchase, I reviewed the Safeway flyer, only to find no mention of any limit. This particular Safeway was not my usual store, and I've never encountered such an issue at my regular Safeway, where the staff is consistently helpful and friendly.It's evident that the staff at the Rivermark Plaza Safeway could benefit from both product and customer service training.

I never been to this Safeway before and was wondering way the bad reviews...it looks clean and the area isn't bad...and then it clicked: bad service. I love my Safeway at S Winchester (campbell), so i guess not all locations can have nice staff.

I stop by here at least twice a week before work, right at 5AM-5:10AM. They're always open on time and the employees are all busy at work. Some have their airpods on and keep to themselves and you can tell which ones are the social ones just talking about random stuff. The employees are very diverse and the age gap is pretty big. They're always stocking up in every department and keeping everything clean and organized. Of course during the morning there's plenty of parking but I still imagine even during the rush hour Rivermark Plaza still has plenty of parking. It's shared with a ton of businesses so it can accommodate that. One little hiccup is when I went to buy a couple quest bars the cashier immediately said we don't have enough cash for cashback. I didn't want any cash but it didn't really matter. Just caught me off guard. There's also a Wells Fargo just a stone throw away anyways. Overall very clean, bigger than normal selection and everything is organized. Props to the Director and Managers.

Safeway bakery is a great place to get a last minute cake that you forgot to order when you were told to remember ?. And they always have already prepared cakes and pastries whenever you need them or whenever you get a craving for something sweet. The staff is very friendly and you can always count on them to drop what they are doing and ice a name on a cake. Always come here when I need something quick.

Awful service and rude for moms Firstly, cashiers there don't know how to use milk checks. We went through 3 lines all 3 cashiers don't know how to use milk checks. The end they asked us to go to the customer service desk.Secondly,They refused us to use the milk check in the store just because it titled as "valued Similac customer" which I got from my OB and is totally eligible. The lady worked at the customer service was super rude as we should've tried to buy.They also said even if there is a name there they only allow us to use one per day which is against on what describes on the check I got.Basically they made there own rules against all other stores.

Very clean location, people are very friendly, can always find what I need, just sometimes lacks some check outs, and lines get very long. Overall very good, just the occasional delay, but not enough to make me not come back!
