Sometimes you get what you pay for, but it was really weird to see that there's a 10-dollar per day "living wage surcharge". In the place I stayed, it seemed like the window where the bathroom is, has blood right by the shower and bathtub, towels look used, it was cold when I entered for the first time, there was caulk getting out of the shower, some smell of smoking, and there was some missing patches of carpet. In addition, I would avoid drinking the water as once it goes out of the faucet, it looks chalky! Lastly, the back alley was full of potholes and it's so hard to find parking! Not so good. Clearly the façade does look like an apartment, and I miss it a couple times.Anyhow, no problems as I was not itching from bugs, the bed was comfy and welcoming, and the check out time was fair enough, but I wish breakfast was until 10:30 instead of 9:30 as the end time.I was CONTENT with my stay, but not happy. Very likely if I come for an annual conference/convention every January, I will go somewhere else-with the surprise fee that was added at check-in after booking online ruined my savings for me. Okay stay, but it could have been better.

Front desk guy is excellent. Rooms are meh. What do you expect for the budget friendly price? They serve breakfast. Eggs, sausage, toast, waffles. It's fine. Got to say it's better than a lot of other places nearby that have no breakfast.I'll stay here again.

Horrible. The absolutely WORST service ever. This is the type of hotel that years ago when businesses (and people) had any shred of decency or self respect, it would have been shut down. I will never even remotely consider staying here. Run down place. Run down service. If you think "Oh, it's just one night", well think again. That one night will HAUNT you forever.

Really really low quality place to stay. We booked third party which was a mistake. Check in is listed as ok until 12 am. We arrived around 9:30 and couldn’t find anyone to help us for a good half hour. Some dude comes walking across the parking lot looking sketchy and twitchy…. Aaaand goes behind the counter lol. He didn’t exactly seem sober, eyes yellow and dilated, but whatever. That’s not my business. The rooms are dirty. REALLY dirty. I think housecleaning kind of tries, but it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. The carpets were incredibly soiled to the point where we didn’t dare walk on it barefoot. We found around half a dozen dead roaches & random roach legs around the baseboard/carpet on the sides of rooms. We found a lot of roach droppings in every corner and on the bed frame. There was a very obvious yellow unwashed pee stain on the comforter. I searched very hard for bed bugs as other reviews mention them and luckily didn’t find any, but noticed that the mattress and box spring both were very old and soiled & appeared to have had bleach sprayed on corners where bed bugs would leave droppings. The wallpaper is drooping and full of holes, indicating water damage. It’s easy to see where bleach was sprayed on lamp shades and walls presumably to kill mold. The space between the wall and bed was yellow and filthy. The sheets had a LOT of human hair on them. The bathroom was pretty clean save for the walls. Refrigerator worked and seemed clean. Towels and pillows were clean and smelled heavily of bleach thankfully.I would highly recommend not staying here. The fact that we paid 100$ to stay in such conditions would be laughable if it wasn’t so shameful. It’s worth maybe 30 a night at best.Gross. Dirty. Presence of insects. I’m easy going and don’t mind some damage or a stray bug that wandered in but this was waaaay too much.Rooms: Filthy.

This was the worst night of my entire stay in Northern California and I'm still traumatized from this absolutely DISGUSTING excuse for a hotel. There was no one at the desk when I tried to check in. We waited for 30 minutes and finally some sketchy guy who looked like he had fleas slid in and checked us in. He was definitely high and we were scared but had nowhere else to stay after visiting my grandma. We got there at 9 pm which isn't late to arrive. Once we got to the room, we were SCARED for our lives. We left the lights on so we could spot any bed bugs and still feel dirty this morning. We put our clothes in plastic bags and got the hell out of there early. The floors were sticky (GROSS)! My ankles have been itchy all day and probably got bitten up by God knows what!! I would NEVER come back nor would we EVER recommend this even to our worst enemy not that we have any!! ZERO STARS

The hotel was not bad it was quiet It was not the cleanest but it was okay we did not appreciate the housekeeping they were horrible we had to beg them to come clean our room everyday to replace our towels with the right amount of towels that we needed empty the garbage cans we even had to take our own garbage cans out and ask for extra bags to put our own garbage in It is so sad but the front desk people were really kind very helpful very knowledgeable and we would use them all the time they were so good so nice and they made sure that we had everything we needed no matter what time it was when we got home they made sure he had everything then that they needed

I booked a room through a third-party website with a discount, but at the time of check-in hotel, they charged additionally surcharge amount, which is an incorrect way of attracting customer showing discounted price online and there is a different price offline. I personally feel like this is wrong. So please make sure you are prepared for this before you check in at the hotel.

Well, in the fine print when you book, there is a service charge by the hotel for 10$ extra. The hotel also is a complete dump, Every picture they posted is photoshoped, picture of reception, rooms everything and it smell like an old house that no one has lived in for 40 years.Avoid this place like a plague

here we go if you see this and read all this you'll probably do it because hopefully you will have the same experience that I was give so to be honest im now setting the bar lol…Front door office personnel was there and took a business phone call whom called in and needed assistance. Now we happy knowing they know we are there so wait patently. Personnel apologize for wait then assisted. One of the first things they asked was pronouns. Thus now you know half way through this long review they are humanity positive no matter how you human or anthropomorphic. XDThings that would be required a state issued ID might be able to use passport these days. The front desk personnel takes the time to walk you through the steps they ate taking so you can keep up with them incase your on a business trip and need to keep information for your company.I'm sorry brain is doing the lack of thoughts but this is the part that just happens and stays because forward. As you think the thoughts fast because time has passed…See all this long stuff!!!(Summary that matters)I want to tell you out of all the places to stay at I'm now asking that you please give this hotel a thought before you make your decision because it's not what the hotel looks like that matters it's the folks whom maintain it and if the people with in the company are beautiful then over time the company itself will become beautiful.9/26/23I can personally confirm the folks here atQuality Inn & Suites Silicon Valley are beautiful. If you also agree just before you leave or right after you check out to get a coffee please write a review even if it's a date and the statement [still beautiful] letting others know they are! To be very honest, the only good thing about this hotel is service and it’s price. Let me start off by mentioning we got a bed bug infestation in our home right now and it was from this hotel because we would get random rashes that were 3 in a row, classic sign of bed bugs. The rooms were very outdated and light bulbs went out during our stay. No big deal I called front office and they gave me a new bulb. What was caught off guard was their breakfast. They served microwaved egg whites on random days and often had no food. They would take very long to replenish. I tried orange juice. Nope, tasted so horrible. The only thing that was good was their yogurt since it was a brand you find at Walmart, target, etc. We stayed 2 weeks at this hotel since it was rather affordable, but definitely not the adventure I will take again.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! UNSAFE!!! FILTHY!READ THE REVIEWS! Bed bugs...I booked here and ended up having to stay elsewhere. I tried to get my $200+ back for the two nights stay that I booked in many ways, but no luck. Manager is inaccessible. Went to the front desk to cancel and was told there was no way. Tried online and got the same response. Had to cut my trip short because didn't want to pay for another night's hotel at the other hotel realizing that I could be charged for both. Many other options! I stayed at the Quality Inn in Sunnyvale. Great! Safe! Clean! Great breakfast!

My stay with Quality Inn was not what i expected i dont care about the outer appearance but the quality of service , i was scheduled for a procedure in Stanford on the 26th and extended to the 28th on the 27th around 11 pm there was loud music , people knocking on my door asking for someone obviously not there , . Bothersome second noght at 2 am i had a unexpected person come into the room claiming to be management he expressed my vehicle was not registered odd i had a paper on the windshield which stated i was a guest . I was so terrified but they reassured me it was an honest mistake yet theyve failed me as a patrient using their establishment. I was told id be reimburrsed yet they have not AND they no longer asnwer my calls thos was no mistake , they seen a woman alone and figured id be an easy target for whatever it was they were ip to managemet was notified yet nothing has been done my next step is a law suit my life was endangered by the the hands of what i thought was a secure environment. Peopme be aware there is Huma trafficing and i could have been a victim

This was hands down the worst place I've ever stayed at. We arrived early so we figured we could inquire about a possible early check in. Immediately upon entering the office the first receptionist was arguing with someone over the phone and hung up angrily. When I asked about early check in he informed us that they still needed to clean the room which was completely understandable but he was also very rude when answering our questions. Half the time it was as if he couldn't understand what we were asking about anyway. When we came back for our scheduled check in time, another receptionist was at the front desk, and she was rude to us as well when we were signing in. When we finally got through the front office, we could see that there were cockroaches everywhere all over the parking lot and on the walkways. The place was filthy and the paint was chipping off the walls and doors. Our room was no better. The floors had massive stains all over the carpets which were bubbling up from moisture. The furniture looked like it was scavenged from the thrift store, and some of our lamps didn't even work. The curtains did not cover the window completely but the AC was at least fully functional. The sink and bathroom were really worn down and we definitely did not trust the cleanliness of the water. The walls were also paper thin and we could hear everything in the other room behind the headrest of the bed. To top it off, I felt really unsafe, as I went downstairs to pick up snacks from the vending machine at night (which was out of order). I was catcalled by two different men who kept harassing me even as I tried to ignore them. I would never come back here. It's not worth the price. Especially when I've stayed at motels much nicer than this dump.

Bad Surprises!Bad surprises at every turn. When we checked in they wanted us to pay a fee they called a living wage surcharge. ?What the heck is that? The lady at the front desk couldn’t even explain what it was for other then it was a few. I have stayed in many hotels and never experienced this. They said because we were choice privilege members and using points we would need to pay the fee. Um no, that is not how this works. No one should even have to pay this fake fee, even if you book through a third party website. They lady at the front desk was nice you can tell that the staff cares and housekeeping tries but management and owners don’t really care for the property and guests, as it is very gross structure and they add fake fees. The bed we slept on was horrible. The room did not look like the pictures. And we found two cockroaches. I hope they consider spraying.
