I went to this location of Patelco and let me tell you the experience was nothing short of amazing, if there was 10 stars I would give it 10/10, but 5/5 stars will do. I had Yolanda help me and she was fantastic, she was informative, personable and sooo kind. With all my questions she had answers +more. The customer service with all the staff was amazing and friendly. I am so happy I bank at Patelco and even happier that this location is close by. If I have any banking problems or questions I will gladly go back to this location for help. If you go to any Patelco location I hope you go to this one and i hope you get Yolanda so you have just as great of an experience as I did.

I want to express my thanks to Yolanda, Assistant Branch Manager, at the Patelco Credit Union located at 2654 El Camino Real in the city of Santa Clara. She went above and beyond the call of duty to answer my many detailed questions regarding my Individual Retirement Account (IRA) that I have at Patelco. I needed to know specific details about converting a Traditional to a Roth IRA, taking Required Minimum Distributions, account terms and credit union penalties involved as well as investment alternatives. Yolanda took all my questions and, after talking to her IRA Department at Patelco, called me the next day with all the information I requested--wonderful experience! I have been a member of Patelco at this branch for many years and I also have been banking at big banks and the level of service at those big banks does not match that of the service I have received at Patelco. The entire staff at Patelco in Santa Clara is friendly and helpful. They really do take care of their members. Ken K.

The worst experience with a bank I have ever had. Added a joint account online. I was never able to get access to. The website said I didn't exist. Spoke with customer service after being on hold for 45 mins the site finally knows me. Start the enrollment process and am unable to confirm my contact info. I get a "undefined" error. Tried again later and back to not existing. I go into the bank, the clerk tells me they don't have any of the info I uploaded online when we opened the account. Provided the info, password code texted to me, still no access. I do not exist. Finally get told the IT people will need 4 business days to fix it. In the meantime I have no access to my paycheck. I can't login and pay my mortgage. I am literally in the bank parking lot right now on my way to Wells Fargo to create a joint account and close this one. I have never had so many issues. It is hard to trust a bank with my money when it can't even find my ID that was uploaded to THEIR OWN SITE.

I have been a member of Patelco Credit Union for several years now, and I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the outstanding service I consistently receive. The staff, especially Mary, Yolanda, and Kristine, have truly gone above and beyond to make my banking experience exceptional. From the moment I walk through the doors, I am greeted with warmth and friendliness. Mary always has a smile on her face and is incredibly efficient in handling any inquiries or concerns I may have. Her professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. Yolanda, who has assisted me with various financial transactions, exhibits a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her role. She patiently walks me through every step, ensuring I fully understand the process. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service make banking at Patelco a pleasure. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Kristine, who took the lead in helping me with the THREE issues I walked in with today! I walked out with all problems solved, amazed again, but not surprised at how much nicer it is to work with a local nonprofit credit union than a big for-profit bank. Kristine's commitment to understanding my unique needs and tailoring solutions accordingly sets Patelco Credit Union apart. What sets this credit union apart is the personalized attention and genuine care provided by Mary, Yolanda, and Kristine. They make every effort to know their members personally, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I recently closed my account at Bank of the West (now BNP). They kept hitting me with random fees and I was just another small-time account holder to them. At Patelco, they know me by name when I walk in the door! Overall, Patelco Credit Union, thanks toexceptional team members, has exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Patelco to anyone seeking a banking experience that combines efficiency, expertise, and a personal touch.

I am a Patelco member have been for years. Stay away from the Santa Clara branch it's worth the extra time to travel to the other branches. Yolanda specifically has held me up for longer then needed on multiple times. I went to withdraw in different denominations and held me there for over 1.5 hours. I had it the last time I went in for a cashiers check Yolanda was on the phone and I asked the branch manager for assistance and she said Yolanda will be off the phone soon to assist me. I walked out no need for any confrontations. But they do work for a members union and these two specifically have no care about their union members. Patelco itself is a great bank system. Just not that branch.

Banker woman with purple hair started off with an attitude and very unhelpful. I came in asking for hardship options, like disability grants or anything and she presented no ideas for assistance or options. She was rude and she laughed at my situation which made me very sad. I will never go here again. Ill be going to the one in Lafayette where they actually care about customers and try to help any way possible.

Everything takes five phone calls. No one has enough training to really answer a single question. And the Message Center online you’ll just keep waiting. I tried patelco for good CD rates, but decided to cancel my account. Of course Patelco has a 90 day cancel fee. Everyone else is 30 day. Compare closely, can you see this one is terrible. I have two other credit unions with spectacular service and rates.

I've been with Patelco for over 15 years and generally I've been impressed with how helpful the staff are. The staff at this branch were all especially nice and courteous towards me. Kristine L. worked with me on a private party auto purchase and she was nothing short of incredible. She was insightful, patient, and very attentive. She took care of us very well, and was able to answer any question I had. I was so impressed with Kristine's help that I asked to speak to the branch manager, Yolanda, just to let them know how helpful she was. This was my first time visiting this branch, but it will not be my last thanks to the staff.

My cousin brought me into Patelco Credit Union in Santa Clara to open a new account to help rebuild my credit. On day one,Phebe Batang welcomed me with a warm handshake, and welcoming smile. I've visited many banking agencies,to which,I didn't feel that welcoming feeling that I felt at Patelco. Furthermore, when I suffered the loss of my son,and came in for a loan,Phebe Batang,Manager,Mary Mashburn,and Assistant Yolanda Chavez not only tried their best to help with the loan,but also,seen and understood my pain. The representative of Patelco Credit Union at 2654 El Camino Real in Santa Clara, treated me like family. I will continue having a business and personal relationship with all the representatives of Patelco,and will definitely recommend that anyone that's looking for a great banking/credit union should visit Patelco Credit Union.

Closed on Saturday. Doesn’t open until 10 on weekdays. Why even have a branch??? Good service when they’re open but they’re hardly ever open

Visited them today, arrived at 4:40 to open a checking account. Was told that they need 20-25 min for that and it is too late, suggested to come again later this week. “Great job”, Patelco, in these unstable times when other banks need liquidity badly, you don’t want to stay extra 10 minutes to get a new customer. Will go to another bank.

I went to this credit U. on July 12, 22 to confirm my residential status & I.D. for the card I got pre-approved for prior to the day & although I was & still am happy about the Refi. This bank has not sent me my cards & when I signed up on the app I come to find out that the MANAGER did not help me with my original inquiry. I guess my credit score shocked her so much as she wouldn't stop talking about it. I checked the app on my phone & NO sight of the credit card I signed up for. I went to talk to an assistant on their Website & asked for any update on my cards they said I have to wait 5-7 days hahahahaha I've been waiting since July 12th then they proceed to tell me that their system was down. Okay, so why didn't you email, call, or text to let me know? So Far still no cards & still no update. I'm 2nd guessing Patelco
