I recently drove from NYC to CA in my 1966 fastback; had a slight mishap on the way that produced a nasty oil leak, plus she was running hot and rough, and during some earlier work her windshield wiper fluid apparatus had somehow vanished. Luckily a friend in the area pointed me towards Mustang Fever; first time I brought her in, Mitch (the Mustang Whisperer) put her on the hoist but the source of the leak remained a mystery, and he already had his hands full with other jobs, so I had to bring her back. He kept her for three days, found the source of the leak, trimmed the shroud so she ran cooler, made the pistons sound less like John Bonham on speed and more like JB on 'ludes, and installed a fantastic wiper fluid tank. After that she ran like a dream, and easily made the return trip back to the city. I will definitely bring her back for tweaks whenever I am out there, cos Mitch is a magician who I cannot recommend highly enough. If you're in the Santa Clara area and you have a classic Mustang that needs fixing, don't go anywhere else!

I helped my buddy limp in his classic Mustang for repair, which was making loud noises from the rear of the car. When we arrived, it was already mid-day on a summer Friday, and I figured there's no way they would even start looking at it. To my surprise, they quickly and accurately identified a catastrophic bearing failure in the rear axle. Before I knew it, the car was jacked up, and the rear end was completely torn apart. They had the correct parts already in the shop, and within an hour and a half, my buddy's Mustang was completely repaired and reassembled, and we were on our way. Absolutely amazing! And the icing on the cake? A very fair and reasonable price! So glad that expertise shops like this with highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals still exist.

Mitch and his team did an amazing job on my '68 coupe. The job was not small, it was everything from radiator to fuel tank. All mechanical parts, suspension, everything under the dash...really an entire resto.I'm very pleased with Mitch and Mustang Fever and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Forgot about online ratings until now!In a pinch had to use this place a while back and was the worst experience ever.Changed my estimate over the phone and told me the initial problem wasn't the problem, They "repaired" an issue that wasn't an issue before I could get back to pick up my car. They also decided to "repair" what they told me wasn't needing repair, over the phone.When I picked up my car, they asked if I wanted my heater cables fixed, THEY WERE CONNECTED WHEN I BROUGHT MY CAR IN AND DISCONNECTED. WHEN I LEFT. MY HEATER WAS FINE WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN AND THERE WAS NO REASON FOR THEM TO HAVE BEEN IN THAT PART OF THE CAR!MY infant Son and I drove in that car everyday. MY HEATER WAS FINE prior to bringing my car in to this place. Wondering if they took out or switched up parts because the cables were no longer moving the same way.They were NOT part of the Better Business Bureau as I tried reporting this incident.The two questionable "mechanics" I had to deal with were not the least bit interesd in doing anything to resolve the issues they created and seemed as though they were unable to engage in any type of real conversation or interaction, as though they did not know how to communicate with someone. Super creepy.They did take my money though.Huge mistake going there. Wish I had never turned my back and left my car.Unfortunately I let the word Mustang in their name lead me to believe, at the time, this was a respectable place. Ouch! was super wrong.Off to yelp now.

Needed a new trunk lock and called this place and it was available. The guy I spoke to told me their hours and to come on down and pick it up. Drove down early Saturday morning and picked up the part with the guy giving me instructions on how to install it myself! When I got home and did exactly what he said, it was installed in 15 minutes. What can I say but great customer service!

Mitch is great. He has worked on my 67 a couple of times. He knows what parts work and what parts can cause other problems. He knows all of the typical Mustang problems too.
