This was one of the most unpleasant shopping experiences that I have ever experienced. I wish I had used my Apple Watch to measure the decibels because the music was literally BLARING at night club levels. Imagine trying to swatch colors, compare formulas with, I kid you not, lil john screaming about another round of shots. I took my mom with me to do some holiday makeup shopping and I was so embarrassed to make both her and I have to endure this auditory assault. We were yelling to communicate with each other right next to one another. I can't imagine someone with sensory issues would ever be able to shop here. My mom even mentioned the music being too loud to an associate and she just smiled and said "oh yeah, we like to blast it on the weekend!" I had an actual headache after leaving the store.Oh and the associates were no where to be found, never greeted us and didn't offer to help us, we had to find them to ask for help. We were the only customers there when we arrived and there were no more than 2 other parties there during our shop.If you want to shop for MAC at the mall I would direct you to the Nordstrom or Macy's counters which were so much more comfortable & functional.

My first visit, not a great start. We were greeted with "Do you know what you want, we are closing in 5 minutes?". The tone was very unwelcoming and laden with frustration. Our answer was yes, and then one of the other store members was asked to close the doors before closing time; It felt like they were genuinely aggrieved that we were there.That was a large spill on the floor that was not indicated by a sign; water on a wet floor is very difficult to see.We have to return an item, and have resolved to return to a different store so we get a better attitude.11/20/23 at 6:55 PM.

I normally like Mac products. But the sales assistant helping me today was having a really bad attitude. Her name is Mahsa Z and she dropped my product to the ground when she was packing it, then she just handed it over to me without even a ‘sorry’. I felt offended by that action. I hope you focus on training your sales person as they represent your brand.

Had a good experience today evening at this store. Being a weekend and near to closing hours the staff was very helpful and friendly. Michelle was extremely nice and patiently answered our questions while juggling with other customers. Would definitely revisit this store for Michelle.

Really like this store & the service here. V well managed!Chanelle is so patient, helpful & v skilled. Sarah also helped me a bit and they know makeup! . I read some reviews abt their customer service & have to disagree. I have no clue abt makeup except for the v basic & they made recommendations without being pushy and overwhelming. I am a happy customer.

Extremely rude Mac reps. Felt completely unwelcome in the store after being a Mac loyalist for 8 years now!The two women were disinterested in answering any questions, did not check if I had an account with them while billing because of which I couldn't use the purchase towards points. Will never step into this store again.

Great products as always. Terrible services at this location. I was the only one in store and the sales rep somehow managed to completely ignore me. Might as well go to Sephora. At least I can expected to be acknowledged. ?

RE: MAC Cosmetics at Westgate/Valley Fair.I was helped by Chanel. She was knowledgable, warm & welcoming. While selecting, applying & instructing me on make up, she managed to greet each customer as they entered. Her level of professionalism deserves recognition. Thanks Chanel! :)

One star. Wife loves their products so I got her a gift card for Christmas which we found out can't be used at the Mac store inside our "local" Macys. By local I mean it's 30 miles from us. We're in San Jose for the day, a 2 hour drive. They open at 11. It's 11:20 and they're still closed. Two employees went in at 10:55 and left. They finally came back with coffee and treats at 11:20. Dixk move man.

They were slammed and understaffed, but Daanie and Sarah managed the situation and were super helpful. I was so impressed how they handled the surge of customers. They helped me with my daughters makeup for a big event, all while the customers kept coming in. I left with a large bag of makeup thanks to their outstanding service.

Huge shout out to sarah (sara?) Who went above and beyond for me! I have no skills at all in makeup and dont know most of the phrases/lingo to explain what i wanted and i made a 2pm appt with sarah. She went so far to explain what each product did and what each step in the make up application process did. I literally havent put any make up on my face for years besides eye shadow. She did so well explaining and was so patient while i asked questions. I truly am super thankful to her for helping me feel comfortable. Make up has always been intimidating to me and she made so sure to explain everything simply so it wasnt overwhelming. I bought a good amount from her recomendations and just wanted to be sure she is recognized for her hard work and attention to customers.

Alex is awesome! He helped all the customers in the store and was patient and polite. Nelli who was some girl working there was useless and super rude. She only greeted white people going into the store and still sounded annoyed like she didn't want to help them. While Alex helped all the customers including checking them out she walked around and acted like costumers were in her way. I would recommend going to the Mac at Macys . They have the same products with better Customer service.

The staff are awesome and have the magic to transform you and give you the confidence with the new makeup to face the world . They have the skills to teach you and make you feel like a goddess. Pls visit this store and be transformed by your new skills ,new tools and be loved by the staff . I have asked them to teach me to use fake lashes and they make the teaching learning process so fun too
