My son is away at college in the Santa Clara. He BMW 128i shut down while driving on the freeway. Short story is I found MB German car service after calling some BMW specialists in that area. Took the leap of faith after talking to the owner by phone several times. He was very patient with me and did solid work on the car at reasonable BMW repair prices. Very knowledgeable about the car. Good communicator. . I have confidence the car was repaired correctly and at a fair price. I highly recommend this garage and would return for service in the future. Provides caring personal attention that no dealer can, and for significantly lower prices. Oh, was able to get the car in just a couple days after me calling him. Big bonus.

The owner is a great honest guy who always explains what he’s doing, gives me options, and is up front about pricing. He’s fixed my car twice now and it runs as well as it did when I bought it- at 110k miles!

A friend recommended the service to me a while ago. Mike is super knowledgeable and professional about BMW. He helped to replace the cylinders. The price is reasonable. Strongly recommend.

Mike is an amazing German auto mechanic, a great gentleman to work with. He has been servicing our Mercedes E350 for many years, from his old shop to his new shop, Mike always does a great job at a reasonable price!

I generally don't leave reviews for non-food businesses but had to leave a shoutout here for Mike.Found this place on Yelp. We had an issue with the coolant leaking in the A4 (2013) for over 3 months, and our way to work around it was to top it up with water before we took the car out. When the leakage became persistent (frequent low coolant warnings), I gave them a call and Mike asked me to bring the car in for a visual inspection the very morning.He gave us a reasonable estimate (even the tiniest of parts in german cars are so damn expensive!) and we had our car back within a day. Great service, quick turnaround time- Would highly recommend!

called the shop about engine light and the owner wasn't happy that I owned an OBD scanner and have the ability to scan my own car and tell him what's going on. He insisted that I'm wrong and he needs to scan it because there ARE other problems the car has. meaning he's trying to create new problems and charge me more. Do not recommend dealing with people like this.

Great service for my BMW 320i from Mike. These guys have been around for a while and so glad I found them. Mike is honest and pricing is competitive. I've brought my car in a few times and anytime I have questions about parts or equipment used, he is happy to go into the specific details and educate me. My last mechanic used to use fear tactics to get me to fix "problems" he'd unexpectedly find but I don't have that experience here.

Just want to add to other review to sing the praise of MG German Car Service and Mike. Called and got a quote over the phone and it was a great deal, discussed all the options for my request. Called back and talked to a Tony and scheduled my appointment the day before I needed and no issues. Got my car serviced (oil change) and also Mike was able to show me some error codes while he did diagnostics when he was checking things out. I knew I had a check engine light that would come on and off randomly, but never got it checked. He explained some options, no pressure and even said just to monitor the issue, but made me aware. Will definitely be going back to MB for regular service and potential other needs for me Audi Q7

This shop is a gem for German-made cars in need of repairs/maintenance. Mike is a great mechanic who has been in the business for a long time. He's honest and prices are reasonable! Very easy to get a hold of as well. I brought in my BMW first thing in the morning and got it back in the afternoon just like he said. I am well pleased with the service and will be coming back in the future. Santa Clara and the surrounding area is lucky to have this shop in the Vicinity. Highly recommended!
