Had an oil leak issue identified by Wheel Works, and they pointed me to the dealer to fix it. Brought it to the dealer, and they told me the only way they could fix it was to replace the entire engine. Thought it was a hopeless issue because neither the dealer or Wheel Works could fix it until I brought it to Keystone. Keystone provided a detailed diagnostic and description of the issue and was able to resolve it.

I had quite the lengthy experience with Keystone Auto Service and unfortunately it left a pretty sour taste in my mouth. I've since moved away, so I won't be using them again, but writing a review to keep potential future customers aware.I took my Land Rover Discovery II to them for an overheating concern in December of 2021. Multiple mis-diagnoses later, it was determined that the vehicle was going to need some pretty serious engine work done to it. Since Keystone wasn't capable of doing the work and didn't have a machine shop that they knew of that could do it, the engine had to be taken to SoCal to be rebuilt. Even without this though, the timeline to fix the vehicle (over 7 months) is outrageous.Keystone did good work and eventually got the vehicle repaired and running properly again, but it wasn't without it's struggles. The owner tried to charge for mis-diagnosis multiple times, and I ended up paying way more for the repair than originally intended because of some of the mis-diagnosis that was done on the vehicle. I considered filing a complaint with BAR, but after discussions with friends determined that ultimately it wouldn't be worth it, so I am posting here. They did good work, but it took a really really long time and they tried to overcharge during multiple points during the process.Services: General repairs & maintenance

My rating stands! They are so professional, friendly and make you feel talking to a good friend. My car is a special car and dealer recommended to go with them and I gotta say, they definitely know what they are doing! Highly recommend it!

They were extremely honest, competent and actually generous. I my car broke down and they diagnosed the issues, found out that there was a dealer recall on the part, and suggested I had the dealer fix it instead. Communication with Kim (and a mechanic there, we talked but I don’t know his name) was also great.

An impressive family operation!I was in need of a new auto mechanic. An acquaintance suggested Keystone auto repair. Their entire family has been going there for years.I was going on a road trip in 2 weeks and definitely needed my car worked on.Keystone auto repair is a family operation. They were very busy but squeezed me in any way. I am so impressed with them. They are truly honest, caring, friendly and take great pride in their work. I went in thinking I needed about $2500 of the work. Turns out half of the things did not need to be done as I was previously told.... Saved me about $1300.Keystone auto repair has a new happy thankful client forever!

Getting pricier than in the past. $185 an hour! Fair customer service. They seem to like BIG jobs rather than a normal service. Found their parts prices MUCH higher than competitors as well.

Long time customer, almost 20 years Started going there when my eldest son was working at a nearby auto dealership and he told me that when the local dealership mechanics couldn't figure out what was wrong, they would take it over to Keystone. This is a tight knit family business who will treat you like family. There have been times we've brought in one of our family cars (3 sons, so 5 cars) and they discovered it was a only a minor fix and they refused to charge me. One of my adult sons now lives in SF and still brings his car down to Keystone for service. I was motovated to kick my 2 cents in when I read a 1 star review which claimed a litany of complaints, but included some obvious lies like that they don't take checks and imposing a 6% cc surcharge (it's 3% which is what the cc companies charge businesses). So if they are lying about that, everything they claim is highly suspect! This is my 1st Google post as I usually just use Yelp, but I cannot allow good people to be slandered.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Keystone is the only place I'll ever take my cars. There's a reason why they're so busy.

I had been many years of customer for Keystone Auto Service, they are very trustworthy. How much do I trust them? Well, every time I sell a car or getting my new car, I always call them for advice haha, even though it's out of their normal car repair services ;) They know every brand of cars very well. Also they charge reasonable price for the repairing. Very knowledgeable team and neighborhood friendly.
