I came here on December 21st, 2023 to get two to four pairs of shoes and some apparel. The sad part was I knew what I wanted just standing in the shoe section waiting to be approached for assistance. I saw so many people on the floor who worked there but walking around and some not assisting anyone. They tried to look like they were busy walking in and out of a door which was in a corner of the mens shoe side. I tried to stop and asked this one male if he could help me, he hears me (side eyed me) but continued on, ignored me and walks into the door.I'm still standing there to see if he will come back out and see if he could help me, NOPE walks out a minute later totally avoiding me and just continues walking around. I finally got help when I had to ask a female if she could help me who was ALREADY helping someone else and she did help me. I needed two air forces for Christmas gifts and she got it done in under a minute. I still needed to shop on the mens apparel side for jeans and hoodies which I did, but if it wasn't for her, I would of left and not come back.Why would I want to spend nearly $400 to $500 dollars at a shop begging someone to help me, if I can't get that service here, I'm happy to give my money to another shop that would be attentive to my needs. If I experience something like that again, I won't shop there in the future.

My wife & son knew what pair of shoes they wanted. We waited for 5 minutes but no one came up to us. So we approached them & they said they will check. We waited, but no one came back with the shoes. Then I asked someone up at the register & they said they will send someone to check. Waited again, so we asked one more time. Waited another 10 minutes and nobody came so we just left. Horrible…. I don’t think the employees even care

Shows why there is still minimum wage jobs in the world. We went to the store 15 mins before closing to buy the exact shoe on their wall which they had the size to displaying. Told them to get the shoe. The worker says ok and starts cleaning the mirrors ?. And then she comes back after being done cleaning the mirrors and says register is closed. Easily could have said no its closed when i walked in and i could have gone to another store to buy that shoe . I aint even mad im just confused on seeing a new species of humans. They needa fr train them common sense more then mirror cleanlinesse

I was having a nice time picking out two pairs of shoes off the wall. When I set them down to pick up sandals that I accidentally knocked over, some employee came out of nowhere to remark about me not returning them to their place, and proceeded to just take the shoes without waiting for me to respond.Unsurprised that this place is rated so lowly.

Would give zero if I could. One of the employees secretly signed me up for their rewards program without my consent. Only found out because I started getting random spam and promotions to my email. Not sure if they get commission for that but it's an absolute shady business practice.

Needed a new pair of sneakers and thought Valley Fair would be a good place to go. I was on my way to Journey's when I saw this store and decided to check it out. It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon but they seemed to have plenty of staff. I saw a pair of shoes that I wanted to try on so I walked up to one of the "kids" working and he scanned the shoe with a handheld device, (pretty cool) and was able to tell me that they didn't have the shoe in a 10.5 but they did have it in an 11. So I asked to try that. The wait for the shoe was pretty long, probably about 10 minutes. While I was waiting for the shoe I saw another one I wanted to try on. So I found the same worker and asked him to bring me a pair.The first pair of shoes didn't work out but I never did end up getting that second pair. I waited for another 15 minutes or so before getting completely frustrated. I asked the guy I had spoken to what was taking so long and he asked me who I had talked to. I said, "You." There was another customer there that I saw ask for a couple of pairs of shoes and he wanted a long time also. I saw him ask someone what was taking so long and he did eventually end up trying on a pair. After being in this store for about a half an hour and only trying on 1 pair of shoes, I decided to leave. I went to the counter and asked to speak to a manager. When one finally came over, I told him, "I'm leaving here without buying any shoes because your process is too slow." I don't know why it takes so long to get shoes from the back but this company needs to hire more people.

I would give this place zero stars! We bought a pair of Nike shoes and within 2 weeks the shoe ripped in both places at the toe. We went to return it as it's a defect and was told we need to CALL Nike! It's a wear a tear and nothing can be done by the store as we were told by the manager! What a load of crap! Why do I have to call NIKE!? You sold me the shoes, you do it! If this was Dick's, they would have taken it back and given me a gift card for another pair. Don't ever shop there!

I recently just went to JD sports and let's just say I had an awesome experience. I copped a Nike hoodie and I was helped out by an amazing cashier. His name was Miles and he was so nice. I love his attitude and he made my experience a lot better. He's very nice to his customers and he's my favorite cashier. He's also just good at his job. Thanks Miles!

This place is comically bad...fitting rooms were closed and if you pay cash they'll tell you that they can't provide you full change. Do yourself a favor and don't visit this store in person.

0 star if I could. From multiple experiences, workers are constantly mugging and have an attitude. Not a welcoming environment but rather in a way intimidating.

My wife and I went to Valley Fair to shop for our friends wedding. We went into the store and looked around.The store attendants were constantly asking if we needed a size for each shoe I picked up to look at, which I didn't mind much. After my wife finally picked out the shoe she wanted, we waited for 35min and the attendant brought out the wrong shoe at first. We then waited for another ten minutes for them to search the stockroom to find the right shoe. After 45 minutes of waiting we finally got the shoe my wife wanted. We only got the attention after asking almost all the store employees.
