“GSI insurance had taken over as broker of record for my Hartford E&O policy but for some reason the point person at GSI was not correct and there was a break in communication between Hartford and GSI when renewal came amount, as my account got handed off from person to person at GSI. As a result my E&O policy lapsed and I lost my retroactive date. Angela T who is the operations manager there went up the chain at Hartford over and over until she was able to get my account reinstated and get my retroactive date back. I am amazed at her knowledge and manuevering. Hopefully GSI can hold on to her and overhaul their communications management when turn over happens at the company so things don't keep getting missed.
