Past couple of stays here there were problems with the room. Lamps not working, shower not working properly, sewer gas arising from the sink.If they do better mainainence, I'd give a better score.Safety. I haven't seen an issue here with personal safety.

For the third time in 15 years I'm compelled to write a review, yet this is the second time concerning the same business. It is baffling to witness the same ambivalence to customers as I did in 2010 concerning the same business. One more thing after so many years that a business would have some concept of good customer relations and providing a positive customer experience. But concerning Granada inn in Santa Clara I am yet again irritated and a bit disconcerted by total lack of concern for ones fellow neighbors and customers. Out of 12 to 15 motels in the area I've been to this one by far has complete indifference to customer service. Maybe it is because it is hard to measure how much business one does not receive since it doesn't exist. How does one measure how much business a place does not receive? I just know it's the only motel I have refused my business for 15 or so years now. Anyway this place managed to offend me though I was not a customer this time. Apparently my friends and I seeing someone struggling with several bags gave a woman a ride dropped her off at said motel and to our chagrin not only discovered a cell phone of ours missing(mine) but that it apparently was at the Granada motel. Every attempt to elicit good neighborly assistance was regarded with irritation and impatience from the manager. She would not even allow us in the building to properly use the "find my device" application. I was not even allowed in the building so as to utilize the feature that would allow me to hear my phone. Since I was not a paying customer not only would you not me in the building nor would they even accept walking with us in the building so.as to locate my phone. The only thing that I was offered was a threat of trespassing if I didn't stay off the premises as if losing one's phone is an intolerable transgression and a burden on my part. So I guess I'm left with no recourse but have to buy a new phone because to allow me to find my phone is just too much an inconvenience for them. For a place that has had no notable renovations to its design in two decades, it has always been hostile towards guests of its paying customers, there are many places in surrounding area just as affordable but with less contempt for neighbors and more appreciation towards customers with a bit more sound customer service. I don't rent rooms often, but they continue to not recieve about 500 to $1000 of my money every year, but if their consistent vacancy is an indicator, they have certainly managed to compound that number maybe ten times if not more. It seems ridiculous to me that the same manager was managing when I complained 13 years ago and yet nothing has changed. I wonder how much of a liability she has been over the years. It's unfortunate that there's nothing to compare their business or lack of business to know. But I'm definitely moved to spread the word. The only positive was the helpfulness to some degree of the woman of the night shift, but it was apparently discontinuated and shot down by the day shift

I just recently made a reservation at this hotel to go to the niners game ...... I reserved it through a third party called hopper . The women was so nice to accommodate me .... But when i got to the hotel a girl named yen is completely rude and is a b;;tch. I told her that no one fucken told me about the early registration that i had to pay for and a deposit so she collected 70 dollars from me and gave me key cards to our room . The key card didnt work so i had to go back down there and told her that it disnt work she reactivated it and my sis used it it turned out that it didnt work she came up and opened the door . And this hotel falsely advertised that they do breakfast but in fact they dont do anything to that aspect . We found a couple of bees in our room (which my sis is allergic to and could have died ) Upon check out i told the guy our situation and said that he will take care of it . After i decided to call hopper back and make sure that i get a refund on my horrible experience from the girl yen to the room . They denied the refund to cover up their asses . My sis called and sure enough the same girl i had to deal with yen answered and pretended what we didnt say ... she claims that thier isnt any supervisors until Monday morning i call bullshit on that ..... I regret choosing this hotel and will never pay for some shitty room with shitty costumer service skills so for those out there dont look in getting a cheap place also look into good costumer service as well and definitely this place isnt one for good costumer service By the way : im from Los Angeles and that girl is lucky i didnt whoop her with her attitude problem ....

Have been here many times and am usually very happy with the room. However, this time I am very displeased. First, 90 degrees out and got a room where AC didn't work. Had to change rooms which is always a hassle. New room had no filtered water so undrinkable. Bathroomm sink spewed water out the sides and all over the floor. Again I have been to this place a number of times and usually I love it . But this time not so much. I paid top dollar for a room that is very subpar . I just wish that I can find some place that would be consistent . And am so disappointed that this is not it

Yo FAITHFUL!! I gotta give a shoutout to the Granada Inn, because let me tell you, it's for real! If you're looking for a hotel that won't break the bank, while still keeping you nice and cozy, this is the spot for you.The location of this place is awesome. It's so close to Levi's Stadium, you can practically smell the cheers from the crowd. And if you're into food and shopping, you got restaurants and stores nearby, there’s a Pollo Loco right next door!Another thing I gotta mention is how easy it is to get to this gem. The Granada Inn is easily accessible to the freeways. Jump on the San Tomas and you'll be there in no time, no stress, no worries. You can focus on having a good time instead of getting lost.Now let's talk about the real MVPs of this place: the staff. Man,they're the friendliest and most knowledgeable crew you'll ever come across. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Need some recommendations on what to do or where to go? They got you covered.Before I go let me tell you that Granada isn’t the Hilton, it’s not the Motel 6 either but it’s a budget friendly place that has everything you need to rest up for game day. I really enjoy staying there because it has an office area so I can make content, a shower, microwave, AC, fridge, comfortable bed and is always so clean.Overall, I can't recommend the Granada Inn enough. It's affordable, comfortable, and has all the perks you need for a great stay. I was satisfied with my recent stay at your hotel. I must say that for the dollar amount I paid, the accommodation was not bad at all.I was particularly impressed by the location of the hotel. It is in a great location within the city, making it very convenient for us.

I was a guest here between Monday February 20 2023 and today Wednesday February 22 2023. After a very terrible experience in a motel on the other side of San Jose two weeks ago, I was genuinely cautious when I decided to stay here. However, within two hours of my stay here, my fears disappeared. To be honest, this is not a Hilton. However, if you want a decent accommodation at a good price, if you care about customer service, if you love cleanliness or if you want to stay in a wonderful crime-free neighborhood, then look no further. The professionalism and courtesy of the staff-all the staff, is commendable. The manager is a young lady who is obviously proud of her job and cares about the business. There's always someone to pick up the phone when you need some assistance. I had problems with the remote control of my room television. Within minutes, a new one was provided. Even the housekeeping staff work with smiles on their faces. As a matter of fact, this is the first time I am writing a review for any hotel before even checking out! The rooms are super clean. The cutlery, refrigerator, microwave etc are in top shape. Initially, I wanted to spend a night. But I was so satisfied with their services that I extended my stay by another day. If I had my way, I would give everyone here a pay raise. They deserve it. They care for the business! There is no doubt about it. I will be back here again and again!!

Went here to deliver some cleaning products for work! Sheeesh a kind of street person with government assistance type venture and occupancy.I just wouldn't stay here without an ultra violet wand to check for bodily fluids and he's bugs et. It had all the markings and thr guy I delivered too stereotyped my conclusions

The rooms were okay for a night stay although they look bit old and dark.One of the front desk person was bit rude while the lady present in the morning was kind.Continental breakfast - 2 muffins in a paper bag.

We stayed here for 8 nights. The room was ok, not great. They did not provide regular housekeeping. We had to empty our own trash twice while there and had to ask for fresh towels. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was “Costco Continental” Yes, everything served was from Costco. When we return to the area we will certainly stay somewhere else.

Bed bugs! Runnn don’t come here! My partner and I decided to stay here since it’s near a lot of shopping area.Came in town and napped for not even 2 hours and got a bunch of bed bug bites! My boyfriend had over 10 bites! We asked to switch rooms, but really I just wanted to leave!!! It’s so out dated and needs a whole new remodeling/reconstruction/deep cleaning. Shower is so small too, you can barely move around to wash yourself without touching the walls. Horrible!.
