Come here if you want to return something. The sales associate delighted in the fact that my return was over 30 days and could not be happier about Macy's 30 day return policy. It was only 36 days. It's ok . Next time I'll just swap out for a different size in the dressing room. Ha ha

TOY R US REVIEW: Sadly all Toys R Us stores are now located within a section of a Macys store. There's a Toys R Us section within the women & children's Macys at Valley Fair mall. It is located on the lower level. Obviously it's not as large as the Toys R Us stores of the past, but there is still a good selection of toys for all ages. They have all the name brands, like Legos, Hot Wheels, Barbies, etc. There weren't very many people around, so I pretty much had the store to myself. The sections were organized and neat. My only complaint is that not every item had prices marked on them. There is 1 price scanner at the very back corner of the store. Most of the prices were fair, but not as competitive as Amazon or Target.

I bought a sand and stone shirt from Macys earlier today. The lady working here, was able to brin down the price more than what it was already listed at. I feel the customer service was good, everyone was super helpful during the visit to the store

This Macy's is by far the best one! They have a much larger selection than Oakridge malls Macys! They have a much selection on every single department and they have the men's and women's macys split on each and of the mall which is great so it always allows for more variety! The employees are decent. I dealt with a Persian guy in the baby section and he gave me a story of how he couldn't put a few things on hold. Aside from that everything is pretty good!

IMHO I only come to this Macy's (Valley Fair) when I need to see a bigger selection of clothes. I usually buy my swimsuits or formal wear here. In the past, the inventory of swimwear used to be huge. Perhaps it is still early in the season to be looking for swimwear, but I expected a larger selection to peruse. I was looking for a particular brand and style and a nice saleslady showed me where to look. Unfortunately, not a huge selection in my size, and I also had to search through many different racks since it wasn't the most organized. There were only two ladies working the department; one putting out the clothes, and one to ring up customers. After trying on 6 different swim skirts, I finally settled on one. There is a price check machine right outside the fitting room, so I scanned the price tag. To my shock and surprise, my black swim skirt rung up at $9.94, down from $60!!! Service was friendly and helpful! The clothes displays were okay and could've been more organized, but I realize that until they hire more people, the clothing area will continue to look a little sloppy. However, I found what I wanted and at a great price!

Came in and found staff in furniture to be helpful and prices were better than I expected. I picked up a bookshelf and desk. Excellent brands an nice displays that inspire ideas and with the bedding and towels and pillows right there at maces, I re- did a whole room in less in 1 hour of shopping and I was out the door to finish other things on my checklist for the week. The lady in the housewares department was particularly helpful and I picked up some cool extras I never realized I love

I went into the furniture gallery by accident located on the top floor as I was looking for the houseware department. As I took a turn off the escalator, I heard someone say something but since I didn't see anyone, I assumed it was directed at another customer. I proceeded to look around the floor then heard a sales associate say excuse me really loud then say can I help you (behind my back)? Felt like I was being chased. I didn't get a face to face greeting, just an assertive associate. I said I'm just browsing. As I circled the escalator area, I ended up walking towards the guy w darkish hair and black rim glasses. I hear him say "yeah right, she just browsing with her big bag". Was that insinuating that I was gonna steal a piece of furniture? Seriously why did I see 6 sales associates on the floor but none in houseware or linens? Never experienced such rudeness, it's no wonder they were not busy. I've purchased furniture at Macys in the past but will think twice about giving my business here.

If I could I would put no stars. I shopped here on 12/5/23 in the luggage department/chocolate/dishes department. I went to purchase a box of chocolate which was on sale for 30% clearly with a visible sign stating 30% off however when I went to the register the cashier Sam wouldn't honor the 30% off discount as it wasn't ringing up on sale. I asked him to go look for himself the sign clearly says 30% off he argued with me and refused to go look and was lazy. I requested to speak with his manager and he refused also stating she was not available to speak with, I immediately left his register and went to a different cashier who was able to assist me. Right away when she scanned the chocolate she saw the discount and honored the sale. I asked for manger and spoke to Rosie who was very nice, understanding and accommodating. She immediately addressed the rude employee Sam. He made my visit to Macy's difficult and un easy with his rude gestures yawning while being talked to. Hopefully if Macy's keeps him as an employee they will train him properly on how to deal with customers - EL

As a former Macy's employee, I am greatly disappointed in the customer service provided by Pav in Westfield Valley Fair Mall at the men's department. She was rude, impatient, and unwelcoming. I had issues with my Macy's money popping up on my Macy's card and as I was trying to figure out why this was an issue, she rolled her eyes at me and frowned at me. I politely stepped aside from the register to figure out the issue as I didn't want to cause a long line of customers. However, not once did she offer any assistance or help. I was able to resolve the issue on my own and use my Macy's money but when I showed her my Macy's money, she frowned and rolled her eyes at me once again stating that what I used wasn't Macy's money with an upset attitude. First off, what I was trying to redeem was macys money but I think she was referring to my star money that pops up when you slide your Macy's card. My negative experience with Pav serves as a reminder for me to continue shopping online only. Her impolite attitude was uncalled for. I hope that a manager or corporate would be able to read this and have a discussion with her about the lack of customer service skills she has.

My family went to Macy's one day, the clothes were good and cute enough for kids and all, but the staff was so slow and we had to walk around the entire store searching for family members, prices were so expensive, dirty restrooms and not really good service there and mixed up all of the girls clothing in one department and had to search for different sizes and they did have what I want but had not a lot of christmas pajamas for me. My family will completely not recommend this place.

I am very disappointed and will no longer be shopping with Macys. No longer does Macy's life provide a quality, professional shopping experience. I chose the order online and curbside pickup option for an order. I have respiratory issues and a condition that does not currently allow me to walk. That is why I chose the curbside pickup option. I used the app when arriving at Macys to inform staff that I was curbside at 7:24PM on 12/13/23. At 7:50PM I called the store number posted on the curbside pickup sign after 4 minutes there was no answer. At 7:55PM I went inside the store to pickup the order. There was no one in line and there were 4 employees in the back/pickup area laughing and talking. No one addressed me. Even after two employees walked out the room and saw me standing there. I walked up to the room area and informed staff who still stood in back area after seeing me I am here to pickup curbside order. The staff member asked for my last name and handed me my order. There was no apology for having a customer wait so long, no apology for having me come inside the store to pick up my order, and no apology for not acknowledging my presence in line. I understand employees are busy, but in this case there was no one in the line and the employees were chatting. Where is the professionalism? I am very upset because why offer curbside pickup if your employees will just ignore the notification that the customer is waiting to pick up their order? It was a challenge health wise for me to enter the store. I will no longer support Macys and will encourage family and friends not too either. Macys competitors provide far better customer service. I will return all the items I purchased and will purchase from your competitor instead. I remember when Macys was a top tier department store. Now purchasing from Macys is more of a hassle.

Today I went over here to look for a jacket/ coat and found a great Levi's one that was on sale. The problem is, they are making the sizes much much smaller now. Lol- No!! The problem is, I had gained a ton of weight and now I am losing it, however they did not have my size. Once I determined that I would have it shipped, there was a very nice and gracious clerk and Macys Men's in Santa Clara. Her name was ShuChen. She was great and very helpful, provided great customer service. She made sure that the style I wanted was available in the color I desired. I just wanted to say, if you are in need of some great sales and deals for your clothes at home, whether they be casual wear or formal, Macys has your back!!Thanks again Macys!

Very poor customer service!!!!!!I purchased Men's polo shirt, the staff was very rude, she tried to force me to use Macy's card, when I refused, she didn't remove the security guard button, and discovered that when I tried it at home.

If it wasn't located in one of the premier malls in California it would be shut down by now. This place has slowly been going down hill since Covid started. I think they realized they'll get business regardless of service. They funnel everyone to a single checkout line now, with one cashier. They're moving in the wrong direction.
