Today, Tuesday, June 11, 2024 about 10:30 am, I went inside Pruneridge Citibank branch to deposit funds into my accounts. Bank teller Drina Coelho assisted me with my transactions.
Teller Drina was very cordial and assisted me with a friendly smile.

Every time I walk into this building, I know it's going to be a bad day!!! I've never once had a good experience at Citibank (especially at this location) and I finally came in today to close my account. My Mom and I had to close an UTMA account (mind you, it has $0 in it) and why did it take 30 minutes and 4 different workers? When my Mom tried to close it last week, they told her only I could close it. When I came in today, they told me only she could close it. My Mom called them out and straight up said that SOMEONE here is clearly lying or doesn't know what they're doing. We initially went to the middle banker, Mrs. Joseph, and good god she did NOT know what she was doing! She was SO lost on how to close an account, looking everywhere and waiting for more help when her collegues would say, "Just do this, just do that, it's right there." And we were stuck with her for SO long. She finally printed out the form for us to sign to close the account and mind you, it says ON THE FORM "You will receive a confirmation of the closure of the account." After the account was finally closed, I asked her just in case, "Will I receive a confirmation on the closure of the account?" And she straight up said NO! I told her, "Let me see that form I just signed." And pointed out to her that it literally says it RIGHT THERE that I will receive a confirmation. So many times where she was just speechless or stuck on what to do or say, just staring back. These workers don't know what they're doing and the others could clearly care less if other workers are trained or not. That cannot happen when you're working with money. It honestly seemed like they wanted to keep us there so long and make trouble just so we won't close our account. Good riddance, Citibank! Never again! PLEASE GO TO A CREDIT UNION! I recommend Star Credit which is pretty close to this location anyways.

Vivian has been very knowledgeable with the products and helps me get things done effectively and efficiently. She listens actively and answers questions accurately. She is also very observant to what customer needs and provided info and service before customer even ask. Two specific example is I was writing a check in her office while she is doing the computer work to open an account for me, and she noticed that I stuck at writing the check (as I was try to figure out the date), she told me the date before I even started asking. Second case was I was trying deposit the check through the counter and the person in front of me takes long time (not complaining), and Vivian detected that and help guided me to deposit the check in the ATM using my new temporary debit card, including teaching me how to use ATM for new card. Great employee for Citi. Thanks.

Had an amazing experience with professional banker Vivian Yan. She patiently walked me through all the options for CD accounts and we reached an account that benefited me the most. Her manager is also great to work with unfortunately didn’t catch her name. Highly recommend her, and this location for your banking needs.

Mostly friendly staff, slower than usual service but the real problem is being understaffed enough where some Saturdays just has no staff working and we would only find out it’s closed by showing up and seeing a paper on the door.

I met Ajanvinder Kaur in Citi Pruneridge Ave on last week. I received professional and helpful services on my first checking and saving accounts with Citi. Every question I had was answered in a timely manner. she was easy to talk and made sure I understood everything that was presented to me. I was very pleased with saving account interest rate. I didn't know that and Ajanvinder introduced that to me. I will absolutely use Ajanvinder again in the future and introduce her to my family, friends and colleagues. I'd also like to thank you Hoda and Fatima. Very professional and supportive team.
