I visit this location often I used to come regularly when my shop was in San Jose. I was happy to see an African American woman in the eye wear section working and the first time I saw her I approached her with a photo of the glasses I was looking to purchase and she completely ignored me to help someone else. I let it slide but when I came back she had. A terrible snooty attitude and I don't know why. I don't think anybody with a stuck up attitude should be working in retail and I am very disappointed in the service here.

Women's restroom on 2nd floor is always stinky. Avoid if necessary. Needs to be cleaned thoroughly.

The place is OK At best. I do prefer other stores. The parking situation here needs to be improved. Someone hit my truck here earlier, so there's a small ding which I know is not the fault of this store, but ughh. The customer service here needs to be improved. Sometimes the lines when checking out can get really long. They do have a huge selection of things, and ok pricing but aside from that they need to hire more people

I really miss having a Nordstrom near me. We went to Valley Fair to see if my daughter could find a dress and we did. Still good service at this location. The fitting rooms are very nice. Inventory is low to average but that's just retail in general.

Very bad customer service, I ordered a pair of shoes, the order was just going automatically without any security checking. And it routed to a wrong pick up address. Worst experiences!!

Great Nordstrom location. The products are always well organized on display in the store. Lots of designer name boutiques within the store itself. Always a lot of foot traffic in this store location, but it never feels overcrowded. Sales associates all over the store are friendly and helpful. Had a particularly great experience with and customer service from Dory at the Maison Francis Kurkdjian section.

I guess my daughter was not happy with the $900 dresses from Walnut Creek's Macys...? Quality/Quantity - Got a few more dresses for my daughter. Cool happy hour bar at this location, see pictures. Nice place to take a break while my daughter shops. Atmosphere - Nice upscale location. Extended holiday hours, see picture. Open 7 days a week, normally from 10am or 11am to 7pm or 9pm. Service - Good, especially their return policy. Price - Expensive, but you pay for the service with this company. And it is worth it! Not going to share how much we spent. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1901, which started out as a shoe store! 1963 - Added apparel when they acquired Best Apparel of Seattle. 1971 - Company went public. 1973 - Nordstrom Rack launched.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving exceptional service from the DIOR cosmetic counter by associate, Robert Llobrera. Robert's attentiveness, expertise, and friendly demeanor made my shopping experience truly enjoyable. I appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond to help me. I left feeling confident and satisfied with my purchase. Kudos to the fantastic cosmetic associate for providing top-notch service!

Stopped by Nordstrom to return items as I realized they were just taking up space. As I was walking into the store, a gentleman by the name of Ryan from the women's shoe department greeted me and provided great customer service. We had a friendly conversation and he processed the transaction with ease and had me out of there in no time. I appreciated all the help and Ryan's willingness to help!

I have a real love/hate thing with Nordstroms. I can usually find clothes on their website and then whatever I don't love, I can easily return and look around. Well, easily until now. For some reason they have done away with the easy and fast returns counter. Instead since there are no signs to a return department. The customer is left wandering around. I asked two people who work there and both said, " you can go to any counter but they are not salespeople." One suggested the third floor. I started the new task of finding a counter with a salesperson. Up I went up to the third floor and found a counter and salesperson. Perfect. This salesperson was clearly not taking this request without more information. He asked, "who sent you?" Gosh, "someone" not going into too much detail. What difference did it make? Not satisfied he asked, "what did they look like?" Ummm..."what department? Second floor??? I'm calling my manager. He needs to know!" "Can I just do my return?" "You have to find the receipts on your phone!" Usually they just ask my phone number and check the tags. What did he think I was trying to do? We went on in this vein for about 5 minutes. Maybe longer. It was uncomfortable. People started looking. My plan to do any holiday shopping is quickly dissipating. I'm near tears while I find two separate receipts on my phone. Nordstroms doesn't even put them in their shipping boxes. After being treated like a whiteness to a murder and then, even worse, a suspect in a crime, I found the information on my phone. I always like Nordstroms for gifts because they are known for their gracious returns. I guess that's finished. My returns were from two days ago, with tags and packaging. I'm not the criminal mastermind they seem to think I am. Isn't Nordstroms training anyone? All that needed to be said, "Thank you for shopping with us. Can we show you anything else?" If that's not possible, just "Thank you" and we could have parted friends. I couldn't wait to leave. Luckily, Tiffany is close by so I went over there and had a soothing gracious shopping experience. Dear Nordstroms, Thank you for all of the amazing changes!!! On my way to the Apple Store, I decided to visit the handbag department Okay, I visited twice but who's counting? First, the new selections are fantastic!!! Oh my gosh, there is a Fendi that I had to take a picture of! It's amazing!! I was warmly greeted by Marc. No one has better taste in Nordstroms. He knows the designers and has a fabulous eye for what works. I like a purse that says, "business" but "whimsical". Marc found it. If you need a purse, wallet or tote, go see Marc. On this topic, I am thrilled with the cheerful attentive new salespeople. Good move, Nordstrom. This is something you can't get on the Internet. If I ran Nordstroms, I'd put Marc in charge of this department. He knows everything! Please let him do some buying for this department! The right purse makes such a huge statement. Thank you so much!!!! Highly recommend!!! Marc, if the Fendi goes on sale, please call me..... Okay, What happened here?? This was my favorite Nordstroms. I could always find beautiful pieces and the customer service was beyond reproach. It's usually pretty busy but last week, it was a ghost town. Tumble weeds and creaky floors? Almost. I found a beautiful skirt and looked for help. There was no one. No one! I put the skirt back and left. After I got home, I went to their website and the skirt was delivered in 2 days. I could have saved the stress of driving over and parking. There is no reason to come into the store. I don't find shopping entertaining but I love beautiful clothes. Nordstrom on line.

This review is not for the store or products. I write this specifically for the return and refund process so that other customers can take care when they return items at the Valley Fair Nordstrom store. Long story short, I returned three items (out of the 8) back at the store however I did not receive the refund amount for 2 weeks. It was only when I checked my credit statement was when I realized I never got this refund back. The store employee did say that the refund would go back to the credit card I had used while placing the order. Thankfully I had the refund e-receipt in the email and I was able to verify that the last4 of the card did not match the one I had used at the time of purchase. Tried calling Nordstrom's customer service, however they were not helpful as they said I need to go back to the same store or call them to get the refund. Apparently the store has a different system in place than Nordstrom.com Had to call the store another day. Was routed to express service where they were able to help me out with the refund. Initially she was not able to see the returns, so I provided her with the transaction number, register number and ringing employee for the return. That helped her to pull up the return. She was able to then process the refund back to my card. I asked how such a thing is possible when these things are supposed to be fully automated. She says (a bit rude here) that she is super busy and can chat about it later, but for now, she will process the refund. Then she goes on to say that usually she would check the return receipt and see if the last 4 matches while at the store. I don't think they should transfer that responsibility to the customer. Overall poor service with the return, although I must say, 5/8 items that I bought for my wife all worked and she is super happy with that. Now that's a 62% success rate. So, free to shop here with confidence however verify the refund if any.

Horrible experience at this Nordstrom, do not recommend! This review is specifically for the section near the online order pickup area. I was with my girlfriend while she was browsing the dresses near the lingerie section and the incessant Middle Eastern female employee would not stop harassing us. She knows no boundaries and if you go, expect to be followed around and your conversations to be eavesdropped on. She kept chiming in with her opinions unprovoked and after politely telling her we didn't need her help, she proceeded to stand there and watch us. We felt highly unsafe as every corner we turned she would be standing there with an evil look in her eyes. Do not recommend, will never shop here again.

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. This review is specifically for the Chanel boutique located in Nordstrom. I came in with my mom to buy her a gift yesterday. She told me that the last time she came with my aunt, one of the Asian female assistants was so rude and snapped at my aunt when she asked for the price of one of the purses saying "Didn't I already tell you??" We decided to still come thinking we could ask for someone else to assist us. When we arrived all of the workers were helping other customers and the we were told to wait for the next available worker. We awkwardly stood in the middle on the boutique until the same rude worker who snapped at my aunt finished helping her customer, walked right by me and my mom without eye contact and just stood by the wall. This was fine because we did not want her help anyway. The next worker, an older woman, finished with their customer and practically did the same thing. There was a third worker who was male who instead of helping us walked by us to greet the next people waiting in line. I'm not sure why all the workers decided to ignore and humiliate my mom and I just for coming in because we hadn't even said anything to anyone. We must have been discriminated against for something superficial. At this point my mom and I just decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. Needless to say we will never return to this location.

Horrible parking and employee harassing customers. We came for dinner and shopping. When we returned to the parking garage, there was an endless line of cars and it took an hour to get out of the garage. This was because they didn't open the gate despite the huge traffic and everybody had to stop and wait at the gate. The machine wanted me to pay $3. I called the operator and asked why they are not opening the gate and why customers have to wait for an hour to get out of the garage and even pay for the delay. The guy offered "$1" discount. I said this is not enough to compensate customer's time when I had to waste an hour with my whole family after shopping. He yelled "You are not worth it." I couldn't believe what I heard. But yes, customers are worthless to them and they don't care at all how much time they have to waste in the garage after shopping is done. Anyway I gave up and tried to pay, but the machine didn't accept the same card I was using at the mall. The guy just kept saying it didn't go through. I said it's not my fault that your machine doesn't work and he said "is it supposed to my fault?" Yes, it's your company's fault that the machine is not working and it's your job to provide support. If you don't do so, it is your fault. Ridiculous. There are numerous reviews about terrible parking experience from this mall. Some people are naive to say it's not Nordstrom's fault. It is Nordstorm who failed to provide reasonable parking service either directly or through a vendor. It was their choice to ignore numerous complaints from their customers and not take any action to the mall or the parking division. We came as a customer to Nordstrom not to the parking garage. We just spent $1,000 here and got harassed by the parking operator after wasting one hour in the garage. These parking guys won't be bothered from individual shoppers. Only big clients like Nordstrom can demand a change. Apparently they didn't do it. Here's my one star and we will never come back.

I recently had a designer pair of pants altered at Nordstrom, and I was extremely impressed with the service I received. The initial alteration, hemming the pants, was done perfectly. However, I was disappointed with the way the belt loops were added. The material of the pants was difficult to work with, and the belt loops looked cheap and out of place. I was understandably upset, but the customer service at Nordstrom was exceptional. I spoke with Mila, the manager, who was incredibly understanding and apologetic. She immediately took ownership of the issue and worked to find a solution. After discussing the situation, Mila suggested removing the belt loops altogether since the material was not suitable for them. However, this left noticeable stitch holes on the pants, which I was not happy with. Mila then went above and beyond to rectify the situation. She proposed adding thinner belt loops that would better match the style of the pants. I agreed, and when I picked up the pants, I was thrilled to see that the new belt loops looked fantastic. I was so grateful for Mila's dedication to resolving the issue and ensuring my satisfaction. Her professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile made a significant difference in my experience at Nordstrom. I highly recommend Nordstrom for their tailoring services, especially if you require alterations on delicate or challenging materials. Mila's expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly exceptional.
